Psalms 61

1 For the Leader; with string-music. A Psalm of David. Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer.

Dura buʼaa faarfattootaatiif. Faarfannaa Daawit kan miʼa ribuutiin faarfatame. Yaa Waaqi, iyyata koo dhagaʼi; kadhannaa koos dhaggeeffadhu.

2 From the end of the earth will I call unto Thee, when my heart fainteth; lead me to a rock that is too high for me.

Yeroo garaan koo citetti, ani handaara lafaatii sin waammadha; ati gara kattaa na caalaa ol dheeratuutti na geessi.

3 For Thou hast been a refuge for me, a tower of strength in the face of the enemy.

Ati iddoo ani itti kooluu galuudhaatii; fuula diina koo durattis gamoo jabaa dha.

4 I will dwell in Thy Tent for ever; I will take refuge in the covert of Thy wings. (Selah)

Ani bara baraan dunkaana kee keessa jiraachuu, gaaddisa qoochoo keetii jalattis kooluu galuu nan hawwa.

5 For Thou, O God, hast heard my vows; Thou hast granted the heritage of those that fear Thy name.

Yaa Waaqi, ati wareega koo dhageesseertaatii; dhaala warri maqaa kee sodaatan argatanis naa kenniteerta.

6 Mayest Thou add days unto the king's days! May his years be as many generations!

Bara jireenya mootii, umurii isaa illee dhalootaa gara dhalootaatti dheeressi.

7 May he be enthroned before God for ever! Appoint mercy and truth, that they may preserve him.

Innis fuula Waaqaa duratti bara baraan haa moʼu; akka jaalalli keetii fi amanamummaan kee isa eeganis godhi.

8 So will I sing praise unto Thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows.

Anis faarfannaa galataa maqaa keetiif nan faarfadha; guyyuma guyyaanis wareega koo nan guuttadha.
