Psalms 61

1 For the Leader; with string-music. A Psalm of David. Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer.

സംഗീതസംവിധായകന്. തന്ത്രിനാദത്തോടെ. ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം. ദൈവമേ, എന്റെ കരച്ചിൽ കേൾക്കണമേ; എന്റെ പ്രാർഥന ശ്രവിക്കണമേ.

2 From the end of the earth will I call unto Thee, when my heart fainteth; lead me to a rock that is too high for me.

ഭൂസീമകളിൽനിന്ന് ഞാൻ അങ്ങയോട് വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു, എന്റെ ഹൃദയം തകർന്നിരിക്കുമ്പോഴല്ലോ ഞാൻ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നത്; എന്നെക്കാൾ ഉന്നതമായ പാറയിലേക്ക് എന്നെ നയിച്ചാലും.

3 For Thou hast been a refuge for me, a tower of strength in the face of the enemy.

കാരണം, അവിടന്ന് എന്റെ സങ്കേതമായിരിക്കുന്നു, എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കൾക്ക് അപ്രാപ്യമായ ശക്തിഗോപുരവുംതന്നെ.

4 I will dwell in Thy Tent for ever; I will take refuge in the covert of Thy wings. (Selah)

ഞാൻ അവിടത്തെ കൂടാരത്തിൽ എന്നേക്കും അധിവസിക്കാൻ അഭിലഷിക്കുന്നു അവിടത്തെ ചിറകുകളുടെ പരിരക്ഷയിൽ ഞാൻ അഭയംതേടുന്നു. (സേലാ)

5 For Thou, O God, hast heard my vows; Thou hast granted the heritage of those that fear Thy name.

ദൈവമേ, അവിടന്നെന്റെ നേർച്ചകൾ കേട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; അവിടത്തെ നാമത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നവർക്കുള്ള പൈതൃകാവകാശം അങ്ങ് എനിക്കു നൽകിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

6 Mayest Thou add days unto the king's days! May his years be as many generations!

രാജാവിന്റെ ആയുസ്സ് സുദീർഘമാക്കണമേ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ സംവത്സരങ്ങൾ അനേകം തലമുറകളിലൂടെ തുടരണമേ.

7 May he be enthroned before God for ever! Appoint mercy and truth, that they may preserve him.

ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സംരക്ഷണത്തിൽ രാജാവ് എന്നേക്കും വാഴട്ടെ; അവിടത്തെ അചഞ്ചലസ്നേഹവും വിശ്വസ്തതയും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് സംരക്ഷണമരുളണമേ.

8 So will I sing praise unto Thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows.

അപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ അവിടത്തെ നാമത്തിന് എപ്പോഴും സ്തുതിപാടുകയും എന്റെ നേർച്ചകൾ പ്രതിദിനം അർപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.
