Psalms 6

1 For the Leader; with string-music; on the Sheminith. A Psalm of David. O LORD, rebuke me not in Thine anger, neither chasten me in Thy wrath.

ऐ ख़ुदा तू मुझे अपने क़हर में न झिड़क, और अपने ग़ज़बनाक ग़ुस्से में मुझे तम्बीह न दे।

2 Be gracious unto me, O LORD, for I languish away; heal me, O LORD, for my bones are affrighted.

ऐ ख़ुदावन्द, मुझ पर रहम कर, क्यूँकि मैं अधमरा हो गया हूँ। ऐ ख़ुदवन्द, मुझे शिफ़ा दे, क्यूँकि मेरी हडिडयों में बेक़रारी है।

3 My soul also is sore affrighted; and Thou, O LORD, how long?

मेरी जान भी बहुत ही बेक़रार है; और तू ऐ ख़ुदावन्द, कब तक?

4 Return, O LORD, deliver my soul; save me for Thy mercy's sake.

लौट ऐ ख़ुदावन्द, मेरी जान को छुड़ा। अपनी शफ़क़त की ख़ातिर मुझे बचा ले।

5 For in death there is no remembrance of Thee; in the nether-world who will give Thee thanks? (Sheol h7585)

क्यूँकि मौत के बाद तेरी याद नहीं होती, क़ब्र में कौन तेरी शुक्रगुज़ारी करेगा? (Sheol h7585)

6 I am weary with my groaning; every night make I my bed to swim; I melt away my couch with my tears.

मैं कराहते कराहते थक गया, मैं अपना पलंग आँसुओं से भिगोता हूँ हर रात मेरा बिस्तर तैरता है।

7 Mine eye is dimmed because of vexation; it waxeth old because of all mine adversaries.

मेरी आँख ग़म के मारे बैठी जाती हैं, और मेरे सब मुख़ालिफ़ों की वजह से धुंधलाने लगीं।

8 Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the LORD hath heard the voice of my weeping.

ऐ सब बदकिरदारो, मेरे पास से दूर हो; क्यूँकि ख़ुदावन्द ने मेरे रोने की आवाज़ सुन ली है।

9 The LORD hath heard my supplication; the LORD receiveth my prayer.

खूदावन्द ने मेरी मिन्नत सुन ली; ख़ुदावन्द मेरी दुआ क़ुबूल करेगा।

10 All mine enemies shall be ashamed and sore affrighted; they shall turn back, they shall be ashamed suddenly.

मेरे सब दुश्मन शर्मिन्दा और बहुत ही बेक़रार होंगे; वह लौट जाएँगे, वह अचानक शर्मिन्दा होंगे।
