Psalms 58

1 For the Leader; Al-tashheth. A Psalm of David; Michtam. Do ye indeed speak as a righteous company? Do ye judge with equity the sons of men?

Dawid “miktam” dwom. So mo asodifo, ampa ara sɛ, moka asɛm a ɛteɛ ana? Mubu atɛntrenee wɔ nnipa mu ana?

2 Yea, in heart ye work wickedness; ye weigh out in the earth the violence of your hands.

Dabi da! Modwene ntɛnkyew wɔ mo koma mu na mo nsa de akakabensɛm ba asase so.

3 The wicked are estranged from the womb; the speakers of lies go astray as soon as they are born.

Amumɔyɛfo fom kwan fi awo mu; wɔyɛ mmaratofo fi awotwaa mu na wodi atoro.

4 Their venom is like the venom of a serpent; they are like the deaf asp that stoppeth her ear;

Wɔn ano bɔre te sɛ ɔwɔ de, ɛte sɛ ɔprammiri a wawɛn nʼaso,

5 Which hearkeneth not to the voice of charmers, or of the most cunning binder of spells.

a ɔnte ntafowayifo dwom, na ne dwom dɛdɛ no mpo mfa ne ho.

6 Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth; break out the cheek-teeth of the young lions, O LORD.

Ao Onyankopɔn, bubu ɛse a egu wɔn anom, Awurade, tutu gyata no sebɔmmɔfo no gu!

7 Let them melt away as water that runneth apace; when he aimeth his arrows, let them be as though they were cut off.

Ma wontwa mu nkɔ sɛ sunsuan; sɛ wɔtwe wɔn agyan a, ma wɔn bɛmma no ano nwu.

8 Let them be as a snail which melteth and passeth away; like the untimely births of a woman, that have not seen the sun.

Ma wɔnyɛ sɛ nwaw horɔdɔhorɔdɔ bi a ɔrenan agu wɔ bere a ɔretene no. Ma wɔnyɛ sɛ ɔba a owu wɔ awoe a onhu owia koraa.

9 Before your pots can feel the thorns, He will sweep it away with a whirlwind, the raw and the burning alike.

Ansa na mo nkuku bɛte nsɔe ano yaw, sɛ ɛyɛ amono anaa awo no, wɔbɛpra amumɔyɛfo akɔ.

10 The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance; he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.

Sɛ wɔtɔ were ma atreneefo a wɔn ani begye, na wɔbɛhohoro wɔn anan ho wɔ amumɔyɛfo mogya mu.

11 And men shall say: 'Verily there is a reward for the righteous; verily there is a God that judgeth in the earth.'

Afei nnipa bɛka se, “Ampa ara atreneefo kɔ so nya wɔn akatua; na ampa ara Onyankopɔn bi wɔ hɔ a obu wiase atɛn.” Wɔde ma dwonkyerɛfo.
