Psalms 52
1 For the Leader. Maschil of David; when Doeg the Edomite came and told Saul, and said unto him: 'David is come to the house of Ahimelech.' Why boastest thou thyself of evil, O mighty man? The mercy of God endureth continually.
Don mai bi da kaɗe-kaɗe. Wani maskil ta Dawuda. Sa’ad da Doyeg mutumin Edom ya tafi wurin Shawulu ya ce masa, “Dawuda ya tafi gidan Ahimelek.” Me ya sa kake fariya game da mugunta, kai babban mutum? Me ya sa kake fariya dukan yini, kai da kake abin kunya a idanun Allah?
2 Thy tongue deviseth destruction; like a sharp razor, working deceitfully.
Harshenka kan shirya hallaka; yana nan kamar reza mai ci, kana ta ruɗu.
3 Thou lovest evil more than good; falsehood rather than speaking righteousness. (Selah)
Kana ƙaunar mugunta fiye da alheri, ƙarya a maimakon faɗin gaskiya. (Sela)
4 Thou lovest all devouring words, the deceitful tongue.
Kana ƙaunar kowace kalmar cutarwa, Ya kai harshe mai ruɗu!
5 God will likewise break thee for ever, He will take thee up, and pluck thee out of thy tent, and root thee out of the land of the living. (Selah)
Tabbatacce Allah zai kai ka ga madawwamiyar hallaka. Zai fizge ka yă yayyage ka daga tentinka; zai tumɓuke ka daga ƙasar masu rai. (Sela)
6 The righteous also shall see, and fear, and shall laugh at him:
Masu adalci za su ga su ji tsoro; za su yi masa dariya, suna cewa,
7 'Lo, this is the man that made not God his stronghold; but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness.'
“Yanzu, ga mutumin da bai mai da Allah mafakarsa ba amma ya dogara a yawan arzikinsa ya kuma yi ƙarfi ta wurin hallaka waɗansu!”
8 But as for me, I am like a leafy olive-tree in the house of God; I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever.
Amma ni kamar itace zaitun ne ina haɓaka a gidan Allah; na dogara ga ƙauna marar ƙarewa ta Allah har abada abadin.
9 I will give Thee thanks for ever, because Thou hast done it; and I will wait for Thy name, for it is good, in the presence of Thy saints.
Zan yabe ka har abada game da abin da ka yi; a cikin sunanka zan dogara, gama sunanka yana da kyau. Zan yabe ka a gaban tsarkakanka.
