Psalms 46
1 For the Leader; a Psalm of the sons of Korah; upon Alamoth. A Song. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
| لِإِمَامِ ٱلْمُغَنِّينَ. لِبَنِي قُورَحَ. عَلَى «ٱلْجَوَابِ». تَرْنِيمَةٌ ٱللهُ لَنَا مَلْجَأٌ وَقُوَّةٌ. عَوْنًا فِي ٱلضِّيْقَاتِ وُجِدَ شَدِيدًا. | ١ |
2 Therefore will we not fear, though the earth do change, and though the mountains be moved into the heart of the seas;
| لِذَلِكَ لَا نَخْشَى وَلَوْ تَزَحْزَحَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ، وَلَوِ ٱنْقَلَبَتِ ٱلْجِبَالُ إِلَى قَلْبِ ٱلْبِحَارِ. | ٢ |
3 Though the waters thereof roar and foam, though the mountains shake at the swelling thereof. (Selah)
| تَعِجُّ وَتَجِيشُ مِيَاهُهَا. تَتَزَعْزَعُ ٱلْجِبَالُ بِطُمُوِّهَا. سِلَاهْ. | ٣ |
4 There is a river, the streams whereof make glad the city of God, the holiest dwelling-place of the Most High.
| نَهْرٌ سَوَاقِيهِ تُفَرِّحُ مَدِينَةَ ٱللهِ، مَقْدِسَ مَسَاكِنِ ٱلْعَلِيِّ. | ٤ |
5 God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God shall help her, at the approach of morning.
| ٱللهُ فِي وَسَطِهَا فَلَنْ تَتَزَعْزَعَ. يُعِينُهَا ٱللهُ عِنْدَ إِقْبَالِ ٱلصُّبْحِ. | ٥ |
6 Nations were in tumult, kingdoms were moved; He uttered His voice, the earth melted.
| عَجَّتِ ٱلْأُمَمُ. تَزَعْزَعَتِ ٱلْمَمَالِكُ. أَعْطَى صَوْتَهُ، ذَابَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ. | ٦ |
7 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our high tower. (Selah)
| رَبُّ ٱلْجُنُودِ مَعَنَا. مَلْجَأُنَا إِلَهُ يَعْقُوبَ. سِلَاهْ. | ٧ |
8 Come, behold the works of the LORD, who hath made desolations in the earth.
| هَلُمُّوا ٱنْظُرُوا أَعْمَالَ ٱللهِ، كَيْفَ جَعَلَ خِرَبًا فِي ٱلْأَرْضِ. | ٨ |
9 He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; He breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; He burneth the chariots in the fire.
| مُسَكِّنُ ٱلْحُرُوبِ إِلَى أَقْصَى ٱلْأَرْضِ. يَكْسِرُ ٱلْقَوْسَ وَيَقْطَعُ ٱلرُّمْحَ. ٱلْمَرْكَبَاتُ يُحْرِقُهَا بِٱلنَّارِ. | ٩ |
10 'Let be, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.'
| كُفُّوا وَٱعْلَمُوا أَنِّي أَنَا ٱللهُ. أَتَعَالَى بَيْنَ ٱلْأُمَمِ، أَتَعَالَى فِي ٱلْأَرْضِ. | ١٠ |
11 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our high tower. (Selah)
