Psalms 43

1 Be Thou my judge, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation; O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man.

天主，求你為我伸冤，駁斥殘酷的人民，求你救我脫離欺詐和邪惡的人。

2 For Thou art the God of my strength; why hast Thou cast me off? Why go I mourning under the oppression of the enemy?

天主，你是我的勇力，你為什麼驅逐我？為什麼讓我在仇人的壓迫下憂傷走過？

3 O send out Thy light and Thy truth; let them lead me; let them bring me unto Thy holy mountain, and to Thy dwelling-places.

天主，求你發出您的光明和真道：引導我，帶我到您的聖山和居所。

4 Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God, my exceeding joy; and praise Thee upon the harp, O God, my God.

我就要走近天主的祭台前，走近我最喜悅的天主面前。我天主！我向您彈琴頌讚。

5 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why moanest thou within me? Hope thou in God; for I shall yet praise Him, the salvation of my countenance, and my God.

我的靈魂，你為何悲傷？為何憂苦？期望天主！我還要向天主頌禱，因為祂是我的救援，是我的天主
