Psalms 35
1 A Psalm of David. Strive, O LORD, with them that strive with me; fight against them that fight against me.
Yahweh, pakigbatok niadtong nakigbatok kanako; pakig-away niadtong nakig-away kanako.
2 Take hold of shield and buckler, and rise up to my help.
Kupti ang imong gamay ug dako nga taming, tindog ug tabangi ako.
3 Draw out also the spear, and the battle-axe, against them that pursue me; say unto my soul: 'I am Thy salvation.'
Gamita ang imong bangkaw ug atsa alang niadtong naggukod kanako; sultihi ang akong kalag, “Ako ang imong kaluwasan.”
4 Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion that seek after my soul; let them be turned back and be abashed that devise my hurt.
Maulawan ug mapakyas unta kadtong nangita sa akong kinabuhi. Moatras ug malibog unta kadtong naglaraw og daotan kanako.
5 Let them be as chaff before the wind, the angel of the LORD thrusting them.
Mahisama unta (sila) sa uhot nga gipadpad sa hangin, samtang abugon (sila) sa anghel ni Yahweh.
6 Let their way be dark and slippery, the angel of the LORD pursuing them.
Mongitngit ug modanlog unta ang ilang agianan, samtang gukdon (sila) sa anghel ni Yahweh.
7 For without cause have they hid for me the pit, even their net, without cause have they digged for my soul.
Sa walay hinungdan nag-andam silag lit-ag alang kanako; sa walay hinungdan nagkalot silag bangag alang sa akong kinabuhi.
8 Let destruction come upon him unawares; and let his net that he hath hid catch himself; with destruction let him fall therein.
Laglaga (sila) sa wala nila damha. Mangaunay (sila) sa ilang giandam nga lit-ag. Mangahulog (sila) niini, ngadto sa ilang kalaglagan.
9 And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD; it shall rejoice in His salvation.
Apan magmalipayon ako diha kang Yahweh ug magmaya sa iyang kaluwasan.
10 All my bones shall say: 'LORD, who is like unto Thee, who deliverest the poor from him that is too strong for him, yea, the poor and the needy from him that spoileth him?'
Ang tanan nakong kabukogan moingon, “Yahweh, kinsa gayod ang sama kanimo, nga maoy magaluwas sa mga dinaugdaog gikan niadtong mga gamhanan ug ang kabos ug nanginahanglan gikan niadtong mangawat kanila?”
11 Unrighteous witnesses rise up; they ask me of things that I know not.
Ang dili matarong nga mga saksi mibarog; nagpasangil (sila) ug bakak batok kanako.
12 They repay me evil for good; bereavement is come to my soul.
Gibalosan nila ug daotan ang akong pagkamaayo. Nagmasulub-on ako.
13 But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth, I afflicted my soul with fasting; and my prayer, may it return into mine own bosom.
Apan, sa dihang nagsakit (sila) nagbisti ako ug sako; nagpuasa ako alang kanila ug giduko ko ang akong ulo.
14 I went about as though it had been my friend or my brother; I bowed down mournful, as one that mourneth for his mother.
Nagsubo ako ingon nga alang sa akong igsoong lalaki; nagluhod ako sa pagbangotan ingon nga alang sa akong inahan.
15 But when I halt they rejoice, and gather themselves together; the abjects gather themselves together against me, and those whom I know not; they tear me, and cease not;
Apan sa dihang napandol ako, naglipay (sila) ug nagtigom; nagtigom (sila) batok kanako, ug nahibulong ako kanila. Gikuniskunis nila ako sa walay hunong.
16 With the profanest mockeries of backbiting they gnash at me with their teeth.
Sa walay pagtahod nga gibugalbugalan nila ako; gipakagotan nila ako sa ilang mga ngipon.
17 Lord, how long wilt Thou look on? Rescue my soul from their destructions, mine only one from the lions.
Ginoo, hangtod kanus-a man ka nga magtan-aw lang kanako? Luwasa ang akong kalag gikan sa ilang paglaglag, ang akong kinabuhi gikan sa mga liyon.
18 I will give Thee thanks in the great congregation; I will praise Thee among a numerous people.
Unya pasalamatan ko ikaw didto sa dakong panagtigom; daygon ko ikaw taliwala sa daghang katawhan.
19 Let not them that are wrongfully mine enemies rejoice over me; neither let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause.
Ayaw itugot nga maglipay ang akong mga limbongan nga mga kaaway tungod kanako; ayaw itugot nga matuman ang ilang daotang mga laraw.
20 For they speak not peace; but they devise deceitful matters against them that are quiet in the land.
Kay wala (sila) nagasulti ug kalinaw, apan naghimo silag malimbongong mga pulong batok niadtong nagpuyo nga malinawon sa among yuta.
21 Yea, they open their mouth wide against me; they say: 'Aha, aha, our eye hath seen it.'
Ang ilang mga baba nakigbatok kanako; miingon (sila) “Hala! nakita namo kini.”
22 Thou hast seen, O LORD; keep not silence; O Lord, be not far from me.
Nakita nimo kini, Yahweh, ayaw pagpakahilom; Ginoo, ayaw pagpalayo kanako.
23 Rouse Thee, and awake to my judgment, even unto my cause, my God and my Lord.
Pagmata ug bangon labani ako; Akong Dios ug akong Ginoo, panalipdi ako.
24 Judge me, O LORD my God, according to Thy righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me.
Panalipdi ako, Yahweh nga akong Dios, tungod sa imong pagkamatarong; ayaw itugot nga magmaya (sila) tungod kanako.
25 Let them not say in their heart: 'Aha, we have our desire'; let them not say: 'We have swallowed him up.'
Ayaw itugot nga moingon (sila) sa ilang kasingkasing, “Aha, natuman na ang among gitinguha.” Ayaw itugot nga moingon (sila) “Gilamoy na namo siya.”
26 Let them be ashamed and abashed together that rejoice at my hurt; let them be clothed with shame and confusion that magnify themselves against me.
Pakaulawi (sila) ug liboga kadtong buot magpasakit kanako. Masul-oban unta sa kaulawan ug mapakyas kadtong nagdaugdaog kanako.
27 Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that delight in my righteousness; yea, let them say continually: 'Magnified be the LORD, who delighteth in the peace of His servant.'
Hinaot nga kadtong nagtinguha sa akong katubsanan magsinggit sa kalipay ug magmaya; hinaot nga magpadayon (sila) sa pag-ingon, “Dalaygon si Yahweh, siya nga malipay sa kadaogan sa iyang sulugoon.”
28 And my tongue shall speak of Thy righteousness, and of Thy praise all the day.
Unya isugilon ko ang imong hustisya ug daygon ka sa tibuok adlaw.
