Psalms 35
1 A Psalm of David. Strive, O LORD, with them that strive with me; fight against them that fight against me.
১দায়ূদের একটি গীত। সদাপ্রভুু, যারা আমার বিরুদ্ধে কাজ করে তাদের বিরুদ্ধে কাজ কর; আমার বিরুদ্ধে যারা লড়াই করে তাদের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ কর।
2 Take hold of shield and buckler, and rise up to my help.
২তুমি ছোট ঢাল এবং বড় ঢাল দখল কর, ওঠো এবং আমাকে সাহায্য কর।
3 Draw out also the spear, and the battle-axe, against them that pursue me; say unto my soul: 'I am Thy salvation.'
৩যারা আমাকে তাড়া করে তাদের বিরুদ্ধে বর্শা ও যুদ্ধ কুঠার ব্যবহার কর; আমার প্রাণকে বল, “আমিই তোমার পরিত্রান।”
4 Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion that seek after my soul; let them be turned back and be abashed that devise my hurt.
৪যারা আমার জীবনের খোঁজ করে, তারা লজ্জিত এবং অপমানিত হোক; যারা আমাকে ক্ষতি করার জন্য পরিকল্পনা করে তারা যেন ফিরে যায় এবং হতাশ হয়।
5 Let them be as chaff before the wind, the angel of the LORD thrusting them.
৫তারা বাতাসের আগে তুষের মত হবে, যেমন সদাপ্রভুুর দূত তাদের তাড়িয়ে দেয়।
6 Let their way be dark and slippery, the angel of the LORD pursuing them.
৬তাদের পথ অন্ধকার এবং পিচ্ছিল হোক, যেমন সদাপ্রভুুর দূত তাদের তাড়া করে।
7 For without cause have they hid for me the pit, even their net, without cause have they digged for my soul.
৭কারণ তারা আমার জন্য জাল স্থাপন করে; অকারণে আমার জীবনের জন্য গর্ত খোঁড়ে।
8 Let destruction come upon him unawares; and let his net that he hath hid catch himself; with destruction let him fall therein.
৮আশ্চর্য্যভাবে তাদের ধ্বংস করে দিন। তারা তাদের স্থাপন করা জালেই ধরা পড়ুক। তারা তাদের ধ্বংসের মধ্যে পড়ুক।
9 And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD; it shall rejoice in His salvation.
৯কিন্তু আমি সদাপ্রভুুতে আনন্দ করি এবং তাঁর পরিত্রানের জন্য আনন্দ করব।
10 All my bones shall say: 'LORD, who is like unto Thee, who deliverest the poor from him that is too strong for him, yea, the poor and the needy from him that spoileth him?'
১০আমার সব শক্তি দিয়ে আমি বলব, সদাপ্রভুু, তোমার মত কে, যারা তাদের জন্য খুব শক্তিশালী তাদের থেকে নিপীড়িতদের উদ্ধার করে থাক এবং যারা দরিদ্র ও অভাবগ্রস্তদের থেকে চুরি করে তাদের থেকে উদ্ধার করে থাক?
11 Unrighteous witnesses rise up; they ask me of things that I know not.
১১অধার্ম্মিক সাক্ষীরা উঠছে; তারা আমাকে মিথ্যাবাদী বলছে।
12 They repay me evil for good; bereavement is come to my soul.
১২তারা ভালোর জন্য আমাকে মন্দ পরিশোধ করে, আমি দুঃখিত।
13 But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth, I afflicted my soul with fasting; and my prayer, may it return into mine own bosom.
১৩কিন্তু, তারা যখন অসুস্থ ছিল, আমি চট পরতাম; আমি তাদের জন্য উপবাসের সাথে আমার মাথা নিচু করলাম ও আমি প্রার্থনা করলাম কিন্তু আমার প্রার্থনার উত্তর পেলাম না।
14 I went about as though it had been my friend or my brother; I bowed down mournful, as one that mourneth for his mother.
১৪আমি তাদের নিজের বন্ধু বা ভাইয়ের মত মনে করতাম; আমি আমার বন্ধু বা ভাইয়ের জন্য শোক করছি যেমন আমি আমার মায়ের জন্য কাঁদছি ও উদাসীন ভাবে নিচু হচ্ছি।
15 But when I halt they rejoice, and gather themselves together; the abjects gather themselves together against me, and those whom I know not; they tear me, and cease not;
১৫কিন্তু যখন আমি হোঁচট খেলাম, তারা আনন্দিত এবং একসঙ্গে জড়ো হল; আমার অজান্তে তারা আমার বিরুদ্ধে একত্রিত হলো। তারা আমাকে না থেমে বিচ্ছিন্ন করল।
16 With the profanest mockeries of backbiting they gnash at me with their teeth.
১৬আমাকে তারা সম্মান না করে তিরস্কার করেছিল; তারা আমার প্রতি দাঁতে দাঁত ঘষল।
17 Lord, how long wilt Thou look on? Rescue my soul from their destructions, mine only one from the lions.
১৭প্রভু, তুমি কতকাল দেখবে? তাদের ধ্বংসাত্মক আক্রমণ থেকে আমার প্রাণকে ও সিংহ থেকে আমার জীবনকে রক্ষা কর।
18 I will give Thee thanks in the great congregation; I will praise Thee among a numerous people.
১৮তারপর আমি মহা সমাজের মধ্যে তোমার ধন্যবাদ করব; আমি অনেক লোকের মধ্যে তোমার প্রশংসা করবো।
19 Let not them that are wrongfully mine enemies rejoice over me; neither let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause.
১৯আমার শত্রুদেরকে আমার বিষয়ে অন্যায়ভাবে আনন্দ করতে দিও না, তাদের দুষ্ট পরিকল্পনাগুলোকে বহন করতে দিও না।
20 For they speak not peace; but they devise deceitful matters against them that are quiet in the land.
২০কারণ তারা শান্তির কথা বলে না, কিন্তু তারা সেই দেশে শান্তদের বিরুদ্ধে প্রতারণার কল্পনা করে।
21 Yea, they open their mouth wide against me; they say: 'Aha, aha, our eye hath seen it.'
২১তারা তাদের মুখ খুলে আমার বিরুদ্ধে প্রশস্ত করত; তারা বলত, “হ্যাঁ, হ্যাঁ, আমাদের চোখ এইটা দেখেছে।”
22 Thou hast seen, O LORD; keep not silence; O Lord, be not far from me.
২২সদাপ্রভুু, তুমি এটা দেখেছ, নীরব থেকো না; প্রভু, আমার কাছ থেকে দূরে থেকো না।
23 Rouse Thee, and awake to my judgment, even unto my cause, my God and my Lord.
২৩নিজে জাগো এবং আমাকে প্রতিরক্ষা করতে জাগ্রৎ হও, আমার ঈশ্বর আমার প্রভু, আমার রক্ষার জন্য।
24 Judge me, O LORD my God, according to Thy righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me.
২৪সদাপ্রভুু, আমার ঈশ্বর, তোমার ধার্মিকতার কারণে আমাকে রক্ষা করো; তাদেরকে আমার ওপরে আনন্দ করতে দিও না।
25 Let them not say in their heart: 'Aha, we have our desire'; let them not say: 'We have swallowed him up.'
২৫তাদেরকে তাদের হৃদয়ে বলতে দিও না, “অহো, আমরা কি চেয়েছিলাম।” তাদেরকে দিও না, “আমরা তাকে সম্পূর্ণরূপে ধ্বংস করলাম।”
26 Let them be ashamed and abashed together that rejoice at my hurt; let them be clothed with shame and confusion that magnify themselves against me.
২৬যারা আমাকে বিপদে ফেলতে এবং ক্ষতি করতে চান তাদের লজ্জা দাও। যারা আমাকে উপহাস করে তারা লজ্জা ও অপমানের সাথে আচ্ছন্ন হোক।
27 Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that delight in my righteousness; yea, let them say continually: 'Magnified be the LORD, who delighteth in the peace of His servant.'
২৭যারা আমার সততা কামনা করে তারা আনন্দে চিত্কার করে উল্লাস করুক; তারা সবদিন বলবে সদাপ্রভুু প্রশংসিত হোক, যিনি তাঁর দাসের মঙ্গলে আনন্দিত।
28 And my tongue shall speak of Thy righteousness, and of Thy praise all the day.
২৮তারপর আমি তোমার বিচার এবং সমস্ত দিন তোমার প্রশংসার কথা বলবো।
