Psalms 34
1 A Psalm of David; when he changed his demeanour before Abimelech, who drove him away, and he departed. I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
De David, cuando mudó su semblante delante de Abimelec, y él lo echó, y se fue. Alef Bendeciré al SEÑOR en todo tiempo; su alabanza será siempre en mi boca.
2 My soul shall glory in the LORD; the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
Bet En el SEÑOR se gloriará mi alma; lo oirán los mansos, y se alegrarán.
3 O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt His name together.
Guímel Engrandeced al SEÑOR conmigo, y ensalcemos su Nombre a una.
4 I sought the LORD, and He answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.
Dálet Busqué al SEÑOR, y él me oyó; y me libró de todos mis temores.
5 They looked unto Him, and were radiant; and their faces shall never be abashed.
He ¡A él miraron y fueron alumbrados! Y sus rostros no se avergonzaron.
6 This poor man cried, and the LORD heard, and saved him out of all his troubles.
Vau Este pobre llamó, y le oyó el SEÑOR, y lo libró de todas sus angustias.
7 The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear Him, and delivereth them.
Zain El ángel del SEÑOR acampa en derredor de los que le temen, y los defiende.
8 O consider and see that the LORD is good; happy is the man that taketh refuge in Him.
Chet Gustad, y ved que es bueno el SEÑOR; dichoso el hombre que confiará en él.
9 O fear the LORD, ye His holy ones; for there is no want to them that fear Him.
Tet Temed al SEÑOR, vosotros sus santos; porque no hay falta para los que le temen.
10 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger; but they that seek the LORD want not any good thing.
Yod Los leoncillos necesitaron, y tuvieron hambre; pero los que buscan al SEÑOR, no tendrán falta de ningún bien.
11 Come, ye children, hearken unto me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
Caf Venid, hijos, oídme; el temor del SEÑOR os enseñaré.
12 Who is the man that desireth life, and loveth days, that he may see good therein?
Lámed ¿Quién es el hombre que desea vida, que codicia días para ver el bien?
13 Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.
Mem Guarda tu lengua de mal, y tus labios de hablar engaño.
14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
Nun Apártate del mal, y haz el bien; busca la paz, y síguela.
15 The eyes of the LORD are toward the righteous, and His ears are open unto their cry.
Sámec Los ojos del SEÑOR están sobre los justos, y atentos sus oídos al clamor de ellos.
16 The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
Ayin La ira del SEÑOR contra los que mal hacen, para cortar de la tierra la memoria de ellos.
17 They cried, and the LORD heard, and delivered them out of all their troubles.
Pe Clamaron los justos, y el SEÑOR oyó, y los libró de todas sus angustias.
18 The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart, and saveth such as are of a contrite spirit.
Tsade Cercano está el SEÑOR a los quebrantados de corazón; y a los molidos de espíritu salvará.
19 Many are the ills of the righteous, but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.
Cof Muchos son los males del justo; mas de todos ellos lo librará el SEÑOR;
20 He keepeth all his bones; not one of them is broken.
Resh guardando todos sus huesos; ni uno de ellos será quebrantado.
21 Evil shall kill the wicked; and they that hate the righteous shall be held guilty.
Sin Matará al malo la maldad; y los que aborrecen al justo serán asolados.
22 The LORD redeemeth the soul of His servants; and none of them that take refuge in Him shall be desolate.
Tau El SEÑOR redime el alma de sus siervos; y no serán asolados cuantos en él confían.
