Psalms 33
1 Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous, praise is comely for the upright.
| ای صالحان در خداوند شادی نمایید، زیرا که تسبیح خواندن راستان رامی شاید. | ۱ |
2 Give thanks unto the LORD with harp, sing praises unto Him with the psaltery of ten strings.
| خداوند را بربط حمد بگویید. با عودده تار او را سرود بخوانید. | ۲ |
3 Sing unto Him a new song; play skilfully amid shouts of joy.
| سرودی تازه برای اوبسرایید. نیکو بنوازید با آهنگ بلند. | ۳ |
4 For the word of the LORD is upright; and all His work is done in faithfulness.
| زیرا کلام خداوند مستقیم است و جمیع کارهای او با امانت است. | ۴ |
5 He loveth righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the lovingkindness of the LORD.
| عدالت و انصاف را دوست می‌دارد. جهان از رحمت خداوند پر است. | ۵ |
6 By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.
| به کلام خداوند آسمانها ساخته شد و کل جنود آنها به نفخه دهان او. | ۶ |
7 He gathereth the waters of the sea together as a heap; He layeth up the deeps in storehouses.
| آبهای دریا را مثل توده جمع می‌کند و لجه‌ها را در خزانه‌ها ذخیره می‌نماید. | ۷ |
8 Let all the earth fear the LORD; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.
| تمامی اهل زمین از خداوند بترسند. جمیع سکنه ربع مسکون از او بترسند. | ۸ |
9 For He spoke, and it was; He commanded, and it stood.
| زیرا که او گفت و شد. او امر فرمود و قایم گردید. | ۹ |
10 The LORD bringeth the counsel of the nations to nought; He maketh the thoughts of the peoples to be of no effect.
| خداوندمشورت امت‌ها را باطل می‌کند. تدبیرهای قبائل را نیست می‌گرداند. | ۱۰ |
11 The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of His heart to all generations.
| مشورت خداوند قائم است تا ابدالاباد. تدابیر قلب او تا دهرالدهور. | ۱۱ |
12 Happy is the nation whose God is the LORD; the people whom He hath chosen for His own inheritance.
| خوشابحال امتی که یهوه خدای ایشان است وقومی که ایشان را برای میراث خود برگزیده است. | ۱۲ |
13 The LORD looketh from heaven; He beholdeth all the sons of men;
| از آسمان خداوند نظر افکند و جمیع بنی آدم را نگریست. | ۱۳ |
14 From the place of His habitation He looketh intently upon all the inhabitants of the earth;
| از مکان سکونت خویش نظر می‌افکند، برجمیع ساکنان جهان. | ۱۴ |
15 He that fashioneth the hearts of them all, that considereth all their doings.
| او که دلهای ایشان را جمیع سرشته است و اعمال ایشان را درک نموده است. | ۱۵ |
16 A king is not saved by the multitude of a host; a mighty man is not delivered by great strength.
| پادشاه به زیادتی لشکر خلاص نخواهد شد و جبار به بسیاری قوت رهایی نخواهد یافت. | ۱۶ |
17 A horse is a vain thing for safety; neither doth it afford escape by its great strength.
| اسب به جهت استخلاص باطل است و به شدت قوت خودکسی را رهایی نخواهد داد. | ۱۷ |
18 Behold, the eye of the LORD is toward them that fear Him, toward them that wait for His mercy;
| اینک چشم خداوند بر آنانی است که از او می‌ترسند، برآنانی که انتظار رحمت او را می‌کشند. | ۱۸ |
19 To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.
| تاجان ایشان را از موت رهایی بخشد و ایشان رادر قحط زنده نگاه دارد. | ۱۹ |
20 Our soul hath waited for the LORD; He is our help and our shield.
| جان ما منتظرخداوند می‌باشد. او اعانت و سپر ما است. | ۲۰ |
21 For in Him doth our heart rejoice, because we have trusted in His holy name.
| زیرا که دل ما در او شادی می‌کند و در نام قدوس او توکل می‌داریم. | ۲۱ |
22 Let Thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, according as we have waited for Thee.
| ای خداوندرحمت تو بر ما باد. چنانکه امیدوار توبوده‌ایم. | ۲۲ |
