Psalms 29

1 A Psalm of David. Ascribe unto the LORD, O ye sons of might, ascribe unto the LORD glory and strength.

Dar al Señor, seres celestiales, dar al Señor gloria y poder.

2 Ascribe unto the LORD the glory due unto His name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

Dar a Jehová toda la gloria de su nombre; darle culto en la hermosura de la santidad.

3 The voice of the LORD is upon the waters; the God of glory thundereth, even the LORD upon many waters.

La voz del Señor está sobre las aguas; el Dios de gloria truena; el Señor sobre el mar inmenso.

4 The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.

La voz del Señor está llena de poder; la voz del Señor tiene un sonido imponente.

5 The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yea, the LORD breaketh in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.

Por la voz del Señor están los cedros quebrantados, los cedros del Líbano son quebrantados por el Señor.

6 He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young wild-ox.

Los hace saltar como becerros; Al Líbano y al Sirión como hijos de búfalos.

7 The voice of the LORD heweth out flames of fire.

A la voz del Señor se ven llamas de fuego.

8 The voice of the LORD shaketh the wilderness; the LORD shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.

A la voz del Señor se estremece el desierto, y se sacude el desierto de Cades.

9 The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and strippeth the forests bare; and in His temple all say: 'Glory.'

A la voz del Señor las encinas las desgaja, las hojas son arrancadas de los árboles: en su Templo todos le rinden honor.

10 The LORD sat enthroned at the flood; yea, the LORD sitteth as King for ever.

El Señor tenía su trono como rey cuando las aguas vinieron sobre la tierra; el Señor está sentado como rey para siempre.

11 The LORD will give strength unto His people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.

El Señor dará fortaleza a su pueblo; el Señor dará a su pueblo la bendición de la paz.
