Psalms 28

1 A Psalm of David. Unto thee, O LORD, do I call; my Rock, be not Thou deaf unto me; lest, if Thou be silent unto me, I become like them that go down into the pit.

೧ದಾವೀದನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನನ್ನ ಶರಣನೇ, ನಿನಗೆ ಮೊರೆಯಿಡುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಕೇಳದೆ ಇರಬೇಡ. ನೀನು ಕಿವಿಗೊಡದೆ ಹೋದರೆ ನಾನು ಸತ್ತವರಿಗೆ ಸಮಾನನಾಗುವೆನಲ್ಲವೇ.

2 Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto Thee, when I lift up my hands toward Thy holy Sanctuary.

೨ನೀನು ವಾಸಿಸುವ ಮಹಾಪರಿಶುದ್ಧಸ್ಥಾನದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ನಾನು ಕೈಯೆತ್ತಿ ಮೊರೆಯಿಡುತ್ತೇನಲ್ಲಾ; ನನ್ನ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪನೆಯನ್ನು ಲಾಲಿಸು.

3 Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity; who speak peace with their neighbours, but evil is in their hearts.

೩ನೀನು ದುಷ್ಟರೊಡನೆಯೂ, ದುರ್ಜನಗಳ ಸಂಗಡಲೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನೂ ಎಳೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಬೇಡ. ಅವರು ಹೊರಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದಾಗಲಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರೂ, ಒಳಗೆ ಕೇಡಾಗಲಿ ಎಂದು ಯೋಚಿಸುವವರು.

4 Give them according to their deeds, and according to the evil of their endeavours; give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert.

೪ಅವರ ದುಷ್ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳಿಗೂ, ಕೆಡುಕಗಳಿಗೂ ಸರಿಯಾದ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡು; ಅವರು ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬರಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದಂತೆಯೇ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮಾಡು.

5 Because they give no heed to the works of the LORD, nor to the operation of His hands; He will break them down and not build them up.

೫ಅವರು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಆತನ ಕೈಕೆಲಸಗಳನ್ನೂ ವಿವೇಚಿಸಿ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಹೋದರು; ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಆತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಹಾಳುಮಾಡುವನೇ ಹೊರತು ವೃದ್ಧಿಪಡಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

6 Blessed be the LORD, because He hath heard the voice of my supplications.

೬ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನ್ನ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಆತನಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರವಾಗಲಿ.

7 The LORD is my strength and my shield, in Him hath my heart trusted, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth, and with my song will I praise Him.

೭ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನಗೆ ಬಲವೂ, ಗುರಾಣಿಯೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ನಾನು ಆತನಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸವಿಟ್ಟೆನು, ನನಗೆ ಸಹಾಯವು ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು. ಆದಕಾರಣ ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವು ಹರ್ಷಿಸುವುದು; ಕೀರ್ತನಾರೂಪವಾಗಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸುವೆನು.

8 The LORD is a strength unto them; and He is a stronghold of salvation to His anointed.

೮ಯೆಹೋವನು ತನ್ನ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಬಲವೂ, ತಾನು ಅಭಿಷೇಕಿಸಿದವನಿಗೆ ಆಶ್ರಯದುರ್ಗವೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

9 Save Thy people, and bless Thine inheritance; and tend them, and carry them for ever.

೯ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಜನರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸು; ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ವಕೀಯ ಪ್ರಜೆಯನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸು. ನೀನು ಅವರ ಕುರುಬನಾಗಿರು; ಅವರನ್ನು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಪರಿಪಾಲಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಆಧಾರವಾಗಿರು.
