Psalms 28

1 A Psalm of David. Unto thee, O LORD, do I call; my Rock, be not Thou deaf unto me; lest, if Thou be silent unto me, I become like them that go down into the pit.

上主，我在向你呼號；我的磐石，不要置若罔聞；你若對我沉默不語，我便無異向陰府裏沉淪。

2 Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto Thee, when I lift up my hands toward Thy holy Sanctuary.

當我朝著你的聖所向你呼號，高舉我手時，請俯聽我的哀禱！

3 Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity; who speak peace with their neighbours, but evil is in their hearts.

求你不要把我同敗類一起剿絕，不要把我同作惡的人一同消滅：他們與人談平安，但心中卻十分陰險。

4 Give them according to their deeds, and according to the evil of their endeavours; give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert.

願你按他們的作為，照他們行為的邪惡，報復他們；按他們手中的事業，給他們應得的報應，處罰他們！

5 Because they give no heed to the works of the LORD, nor to the operation of His hands; He will break them down and not build them up.

他們不關心上主的工程和祂手中所行，但願上主粉碎他們，不要再使他們復興！

6 Blessed be the LORD, because He hath heard the voice of my supplications.

上主理應享受讚頌，因祂聽了我的禱聲。

7 The LORD is my strength and my shield, in Him hath my heart trusted, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth, and with my song will I praise Him.

上主是我的力量，我的護佑，我對祂全心依賴，必獲扶助；為此我滿心歡喜，讚頌歌舞。

8 The LORD is a strength unto them; and He is a stronghold of salvation to His anointed.

上主是自己人民的力量，祂是受傅者得救的保障；

9 Save Thy people, and bless Thine inheritance; and tend them, and carry them for ever.

求你拯救你的人民，祝福你的百姓，求你牧養他們，提攜他們直至永恒。
