Psalms 25
1 A Psalm of David. Unto Thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul.
Thaburi ya Daudi Wee Jehova, ngoro yakwa ndĩmĩroretie na igũrũ kũrĩ we;
2 O my God, in Thee have I trusted, let me not be ashamed; let not mine enemies triumph over me.
Wee Ngai wakwa, nowe ndĩhokete. Ndũkareke njonorithio, o na kana ũreke thũ ciakwa ingenerere.
3 Yea, none that wait for Thee shall be ashamed; they shall be ashamed that deal treacherously without cause.
Gũtirĩ mũndũ ũkwĩhokete ũgaaconorithio o na rĩ, no arĩa mekaga andũ ũũru hatarĩ gĩtũmi-rĩ, acio nĩo magaconorithio.
4 Show me Thy ways, O LORD; teach me Thy paths.
Wee Jehova, nyonia mĩthiĩre yaku, ũũmenyithie njĩra ciaku;
5 Guide me in Thy truth, and teach me; for Thou art the God of my salvation; for Thee do I wait all the day.
ndongoria ũhoro-inĩ waku wa ma na ũndutage, nĩgũkorwo nĩwe Ngai ũrĩa ũũhonokagia, na nĩwe kĩĩrĩgĩrĩro gĩakwa mũthenya wothe.
6 Remember, O LORD, Thy compassions and Thy mercies; for they have been from of old.
Jehova, ririkana tha ciaku nyingĩ o na wendo waku, nĩgũkorwo nĩ cia kuuma o tene.
7 Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions; according to Thy mercy remember Thou me, for Thy goodness' sake, O LORD.
Ndũkaririkane mehia ma ũnini wakwa, o na kana mehia makwa ma ũremi; ndirikana kũringana na wendani waku, nĩ ũndũ wa wega waku, Wee Jehova.
8 Good and upright is the LORD; therefore doth He instruct sinners in the way.
Jehova nĩ mwega na nĩ mũrũngĩrĩru; nĩ ũndũ ũcio andũ arĩa ehia nĩarĩmonagĩrĩria njĩra ciake.
9 He guideth The humble in justice; and He teacheth the humble His way.
Atongoragia andũ arĩa menyiihagia na njĩra ĩrĩa yagĩrĩire, na akamarutaga njĩra yake.
10 All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep His covenant and His testimonies.
Njĩra ciothe cia Jehova nĩ cia wendani na wĩhokeku, harĩ arĩa mamenyagĩrĩra kĩrĩkanĩro gĩake.
11 For Thy name's sake, O LORD, pardon mine iniquity, for it is great.
Wee Jehova, nĩ ũndũ wa rĩĩtwa rĩaku-rĩ, ndekera mehia makwa, o na gũtuĩka nĩ manene.
12 What man is he that feareth the LORD? him will He instruct in the way that He should choose.
Mũndũ ũrĩa mwĩtigĩri Jehova nũũ? Mũndũ ũcio nĩarĩmuonagĩrĩria njĩra ĩrĩa aagĩrĩirwo nĩ kũgera.
13 His soul shall abide in prosperity; and his seed shall inherit the land.
Mũndũ ũcio egũtũũra matukũ make agaacĩire, nacio njiaro ciake nĩikaagaya bũrũri.
14 The counsel of the LORD is with them that fear Him; and His covenant, to make them know it.
Jehova nĩehokaga andũ arĩa mamwĩtigagĩra; nĩo amenyithagia kĩrĩkanĩro gĩake.
15 Mine eyes are ever toward the LORD; for He will bring forth my feet out of the net.
Maitho makwa maikaraga hĩndĩ ciothe macũthĩrĩirie Jehova, nĩgũkorwo nowe wiki ũngĩteithũkithia magũrũ makwa mũtego-inĩ.
16 Turn Thee unto me, and be gracious unto me; for I am solitary and afflicted.
Hũgũkĩra, ũnyonie ũtugi waku, nĩgũkorwo ndĩ o nyiki na ndĩ mũnyamarĩku.
17 The troubles of my heart are enlarged; O bring Thou me out of my distresses.
Mathĩĩna ma ngoro yakwa nĩmaingĩhĩte; niinĩra ruo rũrĩa ndĩ naruo.
18 See mine affliction and my travail; and forgive all my sins.
Rora mĩnyamaro yakwa o na gũtangĩka gwakwa, ũkĩndekere mehia makwa mothe.
19 Consider how many are mine enemies, and the cruel hatred wherewith they hate me.
Rora thũ ciakwa wone ũrĩa cingĩhĩte, nacio iithũire na rũthũũro rũtarĩ tha!
20 O keep my soul, and deliver me; let me not be ashamed, for I have taken refuge in Thee.
Menyagĩrĩra muoyo wakwa na ũũthare; ndũkareke njonorithio, nĩgũkorwo nĩ harĩwe njũragĩra.
21 Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, because I wait for Thee.
Wĩkindĩru wa ngoro na ũrũngĩrĩru irongitagĩra, tondũ nĩwe njĩrĩgagĩrĩra.
22 Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.
Wee Ngai, gĩkũũre andũ a Isiraeli, moime mathĩĩna-inĩ mao mothe!
