Psalms 23
1 A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
परमप्रभु मेरो गोठाला हुनुहुन्छ । मलाई कुनै कुरा खाँचो पर्नेछैन ।
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leadeth me beside the still waters.
उहाँले मलाई हरियो खर्कहरूमा सुताउनुहुन्छ । उहाँले मलाई शान्त पानीको छेउमा डोर्याउनुहुन्छ ।
3 He restoreth my soul; He guideth me in straight paths for His name's sake.
उहाँले मेरो जीवनलाई पुनर्जीवित पार्नुहुन्छ । उहाँले आफ्नो नाउँको खातिर मलाई ठिक बाटो देखाउनुहुन्छ ।
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me.
मैले निस्पट्ट अँध्यारो छायाको बेसीमा हिंड्नुपर्दा पनि, हानिसँग म डराउनेछैन किनभने तपाईं मसँग हुनुहुन्छ । तपाईंको लट्ठी र तपाईंको लौरोले मलाई सान्त्वना दिन्छन् ।
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; Thou hast anointed my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
मेरा शत्रुहरूका सामु तपाईंले मेरो निम्ति भोज तयार पार्नुहुन्छ । तपाईंले मेरो शिरलाई तेलले अभिषेक गर्नुभएको छ । मेरो कचौरा भरिएर पोखिन्छ ।
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
निश्चय नै, मेरो जीवनका सारा दिन भलाइ र करारको विश्वस्तता मेरो पछि आउनेछ । र परमप्रभुको मन्दिरमा म सधैंभरि वास गर्नेछु ।
