Psalms 149

1 Hallelujah. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and His praise in the assembly of the saints.

१यहोवा की स्तुति करो! यहोवा के लिये नया गीत गाओ, भक्तों की सभा में उसकी स्तुति गाओ!

2 Let Israel rejoice in his Maker; let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

२इस्राएल अपने कर्ता के कारण आनन्दित हो, सिय्योन के निवासी अपने राजा के कारण मगन हों!

3 Let them praise His name in the dance; let them sing praises unto Him with the timbrel and harp.

३वे नाचते हुए उसके नाम की स्तुति करें, और डफ और वीणा बजाते हुए उसका भजन गाएँ!

4 For the LORD taketh pleasure in His people; He adorneth the humble with salvation.

४क्योंकि यहोवा अपनी प्रजा से प्रसन्न रहता है; वह नम्र लोगों का उद्धार करके उन्हें शोभायमान करेगा।

5 Let the saints exult in glory; let them sing for joy upon their beds.

५भक्त लोग महिमा के कारण प्रफुल्लित हों; और अपने बिछौनों पर भी पड़े-पड़े जयजयकार करें।

6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand;

६उनके कण्ठ से परमेश्वर की प्रशंसा हो, और उनके हाथों में दोधारी तलवारें रहें,

7 To execute vengeance upon the nations, and chastisements upon the peoples;

७कि वे जाति-जाति से पलटा ले सके; और राज्य-राज्य के लोगों को ताड़ना दें,

8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

८और उनके राजाओं को जंजीरों से, और उनके प्रतिष्ठित पुरुषों को लोहे की बेड़ियों से जकड़ रखें,

9 To execute upon them the judgment written; He is the glory of all His saints. Hallelujah.

९और उनको ठहराया हुआ दण्ड देंगे! उसके सब भक्तों की ऐसी ही प्रतिष्ठा होगी। यहोवा की स्तुति करो।
