Psalms 146

1 Hallelujah. Praise the LORD, O my soul.

¡Alabado sea Yah! Alabado sea Yahvé, mi alma.

2 I will praise the LORD while I live; I will sing praises unto my God while I have my being.

Mientras viva, alabaré a Yahvé. Cantaré alabanzas a mi Dios mientras exista.

3 Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.

No pongas tu confianza en los príncipes, en un hijo de hombre en el que no hay ayuda.

4 His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his dust; in that very day his thoughts perish.

Su espíritu se va y vuelve a la tierra. En ese mismo día, sus pensamientos perecen.

5 Happy is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God,

Dichoso el que tiene como ayuda al Dios de Jacob, cuya esperanza está en Yahvé, su Dios,

6 Who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is; who keepeth truth for ever;

que hizo el cielo y la tierra, el mar, y todo lo que hay en ellos; que guarda la verdad para siempre;

7 Who executeth justice for the oppressed; who giveth bread to the hungry. The LORD looseth the prisoners;

que ejecuta la justicia para los oprimidos; que da de comer a los hambrientos. Yahvé libera a los prisioneros.

8 The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind; the LORD raiseth up them that are bowed down; the LORD loveth the righteous;

El Señor abre los ojos de los ciegos. Yahvé levanta a los que se inclinan. Yahvé ama a los justos.

9 The LORD preserveth the strangers; He upholdeth the fatherless and the widow; but the way of the wicked He maketh crooked.

Yahvé preserva a los extranjeros. Él defiende al huérfano y a la viuda, sino que pone al revés el camino de los malvados.

10 The LORD will reign for ever, Thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Hallelujah.

Yahvé reinará para siempre; tu Dios, oh Sión, por todas las generaciones. ¡Alabado sea Yah!
