Psalms 145
1 A Psalm of praise; of David. I will extol Thee, my God, O King; and I will bless Thy name for ever and ever.
Laudatio ipsi David. Exaltabo te Deus meus rex: et benedicam nomini tuo in sæculum, et in sæculum sæculi.
2 Every day will I bless Thee; and I will praise Thy name for ever and ever.
Per singulos dies benedicam tibi: et laudabo nomen tuum in sæculum, et in sæculum sæculi.
3 Great is the LORD, and highly to be praised; and His greatness is unsearchable.
Magnus Dominus et laudabilis nimis: et magnitudinis eius non est finis.
4 One generation shall laud Thy works to another, and shall declare Thy mighty acts.
Generatio et generatio laudabit opera tua: et potentiam tuam pronunciabunt.
5 The glorious splendour of Thy majesty, and Thy wondrous works, will I rehearse.
Magnificentiam gloriæ sanctitatis tuæ loquentur: et mirabilia tua narrabunt.
6 And men shall speak of the might of Thy tremendous acts; and I will tell of Thy greatness.
Et virtutem terribilium tuorum dicent: et magnitudinem tuam narrabunt.
7 They shall utter the fame of Thy great goodness, and shall sing of Thy righteousness.
Memoriam abundantiæ suavitatis tuæ eructabunt: et iustitia tua exultabunt.
8 The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.
Miserator et misericors Dominus: patiens, et multum misericors.
9 The LORD is good to all; and His tender mercies are over all His works.
Suavis Dominus universis: et miserationes eius super omnia opera eius.
10 All Thy works shall praise Thee, O LORD; and Thy saints shall bless Thee.
Confiteantur tibi Domine omnia opera tua: et sancti tui benedicant tibi.
11 They shall speak of the glory of Thy kingdom, and talk of Thy might;
Gloriam regni tui dicent: et potentiam tuam loquentur:
12 To make known to the sons of men His mighty acts, and the glory of the majesty of His kingdom.
Ut notam faciant filiis hominum potentiam tuam: et gloriam magnificentiæ regni tui.
13 Thy kingdom is a kingdom for all ages, and Thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.
Regnum tuum regnum omnium sæculorum: et dominatio tua in omni generatione et generationem. Fidelis Dominus in omnibus verbis suis: et sanctus in omnibus operibus suis.
14 The LORD upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that are bowed down.
Allevat Dominus omnes, qui corruunt: et erigit omnes elisos.
15 The eyes of all wait for Thee, and Thou givest them their food in due season.
Oculi omnium in te sperant Domine: et tu das escam illorum in tempore opportuno.
16 Thou openest Thy hand, and satisfiest every living thing with favour.
Aperis tu manum tuam: et imples omne animal benedictione.
17 The LORD is righteous in all His ways, and gracious in all His works.
Iustus Dominus in omnibus viis suis: et sanctus in omnibus operibus suis.
18 The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon Him, to all that call upon Him in truth.
Prope est Dominus omnibus invocantibus eum: omnibus invocantibus eum in veritate.
19 He will fulfil the desire of them that fear Him; He also will hear their cry, and will save them.
Voluntatem timentium se faciet, et deprecationem eorum exaudiet: et salvos faciet eos.
20 The LORD preserveth all them that love Him; but all the wicked will He destroy.
Custodit Dominus omnes diligentes se: et omnes peccatores disperdet.
21 My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD; and let all flesh bless His holy name for ever and ever.
Laudationem Domini loquetur os meum: et benedicat omnis caro nomini sancto eius in sæculum, et in sæculum sæculi.
