Psalms 142

1 Maschil of David, when he was in the cave; a Prayer. With my voice I cry unto the LORD; with my voice I make supplication unto the LORD.

ダビデがほら穴にいた時によんだマスキールの歌、祈 わたしは声を出して主に呼ばわり、声を出して主に願い求めます。

2 I pour out my complaint before Him, I declare before Him my trouble;

わたしはみ前にわが嘆きを注ぎ出し、み前にわが悩みをあらわします。

3 When my spirit fainteth within me — Thou knowest my path — in the way wherein I walk have they hidden a snare for me.

わが霊のわがうちに消えうせようとする時も、あなたはわが道を知られます。彼らはわたしを捕えようとわたしの行く道にわなを隠しました。

4 Look on my right hand, and see, for there is no man that knoweth me; I have no way to flee; no man careth for my soul.

わたしは右の方に目を注いで見回したが、わたしに心をとめる者はひとりもありません。わたしには避け所がなく、わたしをかえりみる人はありません。

5 I have cried unto Thee, O LORD; I have said: 'Thou art my refuge, my portion in the land of the living.'

主よ、わたしはあなたに呼ばわります。わたしは言います、「あなたはわが避け所、生ける者の地でわたしの受くべき分です。

6 Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low; deliver me from my persecutors; for they are too strong for me.

どうか、わが叫びにみこころをとめてください。わたしは、はなはだしく低くされています。わたしを責める者から助け出してください。彼らはわたしにまさって強いのです。

7 Bring my soul out of prison, that I may give thanks unto Thy name; the righteous shall crown themselves because of me; for Thou wilt deal bountifully with me.

わたしをひとやから出し、み名に感謝させてください。あなたが豊かにわたしをあしらわれるので、正しい人々はわたしのまわりに集まるでしょう」。
