Psalms 141
1 A Psalm of David. LORD, I have called Thee; make haste unto me; give ear unto my voice, when I call unto Thee.
Mazmur Daud. Ya TUHAN, aku berseru kepada-Mu, datanglah segera kepadaku, berilah telinga kepada suaraku, waktu aku berseru kepada-Mu!
2 Let my prayer be set forth as incense before Thee, the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.
Biarlah doaku adalah bagi-Mu seperti persembahan ukupan, dan tanganku yang terangkat seperti persembahan korban pada waktu petang.
3 Set a guard, O LORD, to my mouth; keep watch at the door of my lips.
Awasilah mulutku, ya TUHAN, berjagalah pada pintu bibirku!
4 Incline not my heart to any evil thing, to be occupied in deeds of wickedness with men that work iniquity; and let me not eat of their dainties.
Jangan condongkan hatiku kepada yang jahat, untuk melakukan perbuatan-perbuatan yang fasik bersama-sama dengan orang-orang yang melakukan kejahatan; dan jangan aku mengecap sedap-sedapan mereka.
5 Let the righteous smite me in kindness, and correct me; oil so choice let not my head refuse; for still is my prayer because of their wickedness.
Biarlah orang benar memalu dan menghukum aku, itulah kasih; tetapi janganlah minyak orang fasik menghiasi kepalaku! Sungguh aku terus berdoa menentang kejahatan-kejahatan mereka.
6 Their judges are thrown down by the sides of the rock; and they shall hear my words, that they are sweet.
Apabila mereka diserahkan kepada hakim-hakimnya, maka mereka akan mendengar, bahwa perkataan-perkataanku menyenangkan.
7 As when one cleaveth and breaketh up the earth, our bones are scattered at the grave's mouth. (Sheol h7585)
Seperti batu yang dibelah dan dihancurkan di tanah, demikianlah akan berhamburan tulang-tulang mereka di mulut dunia orang mati. (Sheol h7585)
8 For mine eyes are unto Thee, O GOD the Lord; in Thee have I taken refuge, O pour not out my soul.
Tetapi kepada-Mulah, ya ALLAH, Tuhanku, mataku tertuju; pada-Mulah aku berlindung, jangan campakkan aku!
9 Keep me from the snare which they have laid for me, and from the gins of the workers of iniquity.
Lindungilah aku terhadap katupan jerat yang mereka pasang terhadap aku, dan dari perangkap orang-orang yang melakukan kejahatan.
10 Let the wicked fall into their own nets, whilst I withal escape.
Orang-orang fasik akan jatuh serentak ke dalam jala mereka, tetapi aku melangkah lalu.
