Psalms 132
1 A Song of Ascents. LORD, remember unto David all his affliction;
हे परमप्रभु, दाऊदको खातिर तिनका सबै कष्टहरू याद गर्नुहोस् ।
2 How he swore unto the LORD, and vowed unto the Mighty One of Jacob:
तिनले कसरी परमप्रभुमा शपथ खाए, याकूबका सर्वशक्तिमान्सँग तिनले कसरी भाकल गरे सो सम्झनुहोस् ।
3 'Surely I will not come into the tent of my house, nor go up into the bed that is spread for me;
तिनले भने, “म मेरो घरभित्र पस्नेछैनँ वा मेरो ओछ्यानमा जानेछैन,
4 I will not give sleep to mine eyes, nor slumber to mine eyelids;
म आफ्ना आँखालाई सुत्न दिनेछैन न त आफ्ना पलकहरूलाई विश्राम दिनेछु,
5 Until I find out a place for the LORD, a dwelling-place for the Mighty One of Jacob.'
जबसम्म परमप्रभुको निम्ति एउटा ठाउँ, याकूबको सर्वशक्तिमान्को निम्ति एउटा वासस्थान म पाउँदिन ।”
6 Lo, we heard of it as being in Ephrath; we found it in the field of the wood.
हेर्नुहोस्, हामीले यसबारे एप्रातामा सुन्यौ । हामीले यसलाई याआरको मैदनमा भेट्टायौं ।
7 Let us go into His dwelling-place; let us worship at His footstool.
हामी परमेश्वरको वासस्थानमा जानेछौं । हामीले उहाँको पाउदानमा आरधना गर्नेछौं ।
8 Arise, O LORD, unto Thy resting-place; Thou, and the ark of Thy strength.
हे परमप्रभु, तपाईंको विश्राम गर्ने ठाउँ, तपाईं र तपाईंको शक्तिको सन्दुकतिर जाग्नुहोस् ।
9 Let Thy priests be clothed with righteousness; and let Thy saints shout for joy.
तपाईंका पुजारीहरूले इमानदारीताको वस्त्र लगाऊन् । तपाईंका विश्वासयोग्य जनहरू आनन्दले कराऊन् ।
10 For Thy servant David's sake turn not away the face of Thine anointed.
तपाईंको सेवक दाऊदको खातिर, तपाईंको अभिषिक्त राजाबाट नतर्किनुहोस् ।
11 The LORD swore unto David in truth; He will not turn back from it: 'Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.
परमप्रभुले दाऊदसित पक्का शपथ खानुभयो, एउटा पक्का शपथ जसलाई उहाँले उल्टाउनुहुनेछैनः “तेरा सन्तानमध्ये एक जनालाई तेरो सिंहासनमा म राख्नेछु ।
12 If thy children keep My covenant and My testimony that I shall teach them, their children also for ever shall sit upon thy throne.'
तेरा छोराहरूले मेरो करार र मैले तिनीहरूलाई सिकाउनेछु व्यवस्था पालन गर्छन् भने, तिनीहरूका सन्तानहरू पनि तेरो सिंहासनमा सदासर्वदा बस्नेछन् ।”
13 For the LORD hath chosen Zion; He hath desired it for His habitation:
निश्चय नै परमप्रभुले सियोनलाई रोज्नुभएको छ । उहाँको आफ्नो आसनको निम्ति उहाँले त्यसको इच्छा गर्नुभएको छ ।
14 'This is My resting-place for ever; here will I dwell; for I have desired it.
“यो सदासर्वदाको निम्ति मेरो विश्राम स्थल हो । म यहाँ बस्नेछु किनकि म यसलाई चाहन्छु ।
15 I will abundantly bless her provision; I will give her needy bread in plenty.
म त्यसलाई प्रशस्त मात्रमा अन्नको आशिष् दिनेछु । त्यसका गरीबलाई म रोटीले तृप्त पार्ने छु ।
16 Her priests also will I clothe with salvation; and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.
त्यसका पुजारीहरूलाई म उद्धारको वस्त्र पहिराउनेछु । त्यसका विश्वासयोग्य जनहरू आनन्दले जयजयकार गर्नेछन् ।
17 There will I make a horn to shoot up unto David, there have I ordered a lamp for Mine anointed.
दाऊदको निम्ति त्यहाँ म एउटा सिङ् उमार्नेछु र मेरो अभिषिक्त जनको निम्ति एउटा बत्ती राख्नेछु ।
18 His enemies will I clothe with shame; but upon himself shall his crown shine.'
त्यसका शत्रुहरूलाई म लाजले ढाक्नेछु, तर त्यसको शीरमा त्यसको मुकुट चम्किनेछ ।”
