Psalms 130

1 A Song of Ascents. Out of the depths have I called Thee, O LORD.

O cântare a treptelor, a lui David. Din adâncuri am strigat către tine, DOAMNE.

2 Lord, hearken unto my voice; let Thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

Doamne, dă ascultare vocii mele; urechile tale să fie atente la vocea cererilor mele.

3 If Thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?

Dacă tu, DOAMNE, ai însemna nelegiuirile, Doamne, cine ar sta în picioare?

4 For with Thee there is forgiveness, that Thou mayest be feared.

Dar la tine este iertare, ca să fii de temut.

5 I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in His word do I hope.

Eu aștept pe DOMNUL, sufletul meu așteaptă și eu sper în cuvântul lui.

6 My soul waiteth for the Lord, more than watchmen for the morning; yea, more than watchmen for the morning.

Sufletul meu așteaptă pe Domnul mai mult decât străjerii venirea dimineții, da, decât străjerii venirea dimineții.

7 O Israel, hope in the LORD; for with the LORD there is mercy, and with Him is plenteous redemption.

Să spere Israel în DOMNUL, căci la DOMNUL este milă și la el este multă răscumpărare.

8 And He will redeem Israel from all his iniquities.

Și va răscumpăra pe Israel din toate nelegiuirile lui.
