Psalms 130

1 A Song of Ascents. Out of the depths have I called Thee, O LORD.

ആരോഹണഗീതം. യഹോവേ, അഗാധതയിൽനിന്നു ഞാൻ അവിടത്തോടു നിലവിളിക്കുന്നു;

2 Lord, hearken unto my voice; let Thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

കർത്താവേ, എന്റെ ശബ്ദം കേൾക്കണമേ. കരുണയ്ക്കായുള്ള എന്റെ നിലവിളിക്കായി അങ്ങയുടെ കാതുകൾ തുറക്കണമേ.

3 If Thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?

യഹോവേ, പാപങ്ങളുടെ ഒരു പട്ടിക അങ്ങു സൂക്ഷിക്കുന്നെങ്കിൽ, കർത്താവേ, തിരുമുമ്പിൽ ആർക്കാണു നിൽക്കാൻ കഴിയുക?

4 For with Thee there is forgiveness, that Thou mayest be feared.

എന്നാൽ തിരുസന്നിധിയിൽ പാപവിമോചനമുണ്ട്, അതുകൊണ്ട് ഞങ്ങൾ ഭയഭക്തിയോടെ അവിടത്തെ സേവിക്കുന്നു.

5 I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in His word do I hope.

ഞാൻ യഹോവയ്ക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു, എന്റെ ആത്മാവ് അങ്ങേക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു, അവിടത്തെ വചനത്തിൽ ഞാൻ പ്രത്യാശയർപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

6 My soul waiteth for the Lord, more than watchmen for the morning; yea, more than watchmen for the morning.

പ്രഭാതത്തിനായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്ന കാവൽക്കാരനെക്കാൾ, അതേ, പ്രഭാതത്തിനായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്ന കാവൽക്കാരനെക്കാൾ, ഞാൻ കർത്താവിനായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

7 O Israel, hope in the LORD; for with the LORD there is mercy, and with Him is plenteous redemption.

ഇസ്രായേലേ, നിന്റെ പ്രത്യാശ യഹോവയിൽ അർപ്പിക്കുക, കാരണം യഹോവയുടെ അടുക്കൽ അചഞ്ചലസ്നേഹവും സമ്പൂർണ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പും ഉണ്ടല്ലോ.

8 And He will redeem Israel from all his iniquities.

ഇസ്രായേലിനെ അവരുടെ സകലപാപങ്ങളിൽനിന്നും അവിടന്നുതന്നെ വീണ്ടെടുക്കും.
