Psalms 130

1 A Song of Ascents. Out of the depths have I called Thee, O LORD.

Aus den Tiefen rufe ich zu Dir, Jehovah.

2 Lord, hearken unto my voice; let Thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

Herr, höre auf meine Stimme, es mögen Deine Ohren aufmerken auf die Stimme meines Flehens.

3 If Thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?

Wenn Du, Jah, Missetaten behältst, wer wird, o Herr, bestehen?

4 For with Thee there is forgiveness, that Thou mayest be feared.

Doch ist bei Dir Vergebung, daß man Dich fürchte.

5 I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in His word do I hope.

Ich hoffe auf Jehovah, meine Seele hofft, und Seines Wortes warte ich.

6 My soul waiteth for the Lord, more than watchmen for the morning; yea, more than watchmen for the morning.

Meine Seele ist auf den Herrn, mehr als die Hüter auf den Morgen.

7 O Israel, hope in the LORD; for with the LORD there is mercy, and with Him is plenteous redemption.

Warte auf Jehovah, Israel; denn bei Jehovah ist Barmherzigkeit und mit Ihm viel Erlösung.

8 And He will redeem Israel from all his iniquities.

Und Er wird Israel lösen von allen seinen Missetaten.
