Psalms 130

1 A Song of Ascents. Out of the depths have I called Thee, O LORD.

Ein Lied im höhern Chor. Aus der Tiefe rufe ich, HERR, zu dir.

2 Lord, hearken unto my voice; let Thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

Herr, höre auf meine Stimme, laß deine Ohren merken auf die Stimme meines Flehens!

3 If Thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?

So du willst, HERR, Sünden zurechnen, Herr, wer wird bestehen?

4 For with Thee there is forgiveness, that Thou mayest be feared.

Denn bei dir ist die Vergebung, daß man dich fürchte.

5 I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in His word do I hope.

Ich harre des HERRN; meine Seele harret, und ich hoffe auf sein Wort.

6 My soul waiteth for the Lord, more than watchmen for the morning; yea, more than watchmen for the morning.

Meine Seele wartet auf den Herrn von einer Morgenwache bis zur andern.

7 O Israel, hope in the LORD; for with the LORD there is mercy, and with Him is plenteous redemption.

Israel, hoffe auf den HERRN! denn bei dem HERRN ist die Gnade und viel Erlösung bei ihm,

8 And He will redeem Israel from all his iniquities.

und er wird Israel erlösen aus allen seinen Sünden.
