Psalms 122

1 A Song of Ascents; of David. I rejoiced when they said unto me: 'Let us go unto the house of the LORD.'

Uma Canção de Ascensões. Por David. Fiquei feliz quando eles me disseram, “Vamos para a casa de Yahweh”!

2 Our feet are standing within thy gates, O Jerusalem;

Nossos pés estão em pé dentro de seus portões, Jerusalém!

3 Jerusalem, that art builded as a city that is compact together;

Jerusalém é construída como uma cidade que é compacta em conjunto,

4 Whither the tribes went up, even the tribes of the LORD, as a testimony unto Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the LORD.

onde as tribos sobem, até mesmo as tribos de Yah, de acordo com uma portaria para Israel, para dar graças ao nome de Yahweh.

5 For there were set thrones for judgment, the thrones of the house of David.

Pois existem tronos definidos para julgamento, os tronos da casa de David.

6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem; may they prosper that love thee.

Ore pela paz de Jerusalém. Aqueles que o amam prosperarão.

7 Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.

A paz esteja dentro de seus muros, e prosperidade dentro de seus palácios.

8 For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say: 'Peace be within thee.'

Para o bem de meus irmãos e companheiros, Direi agora: “A paz esteja dentro de você”.

9 For the sake of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good.

Em nome da casa de Yahweh nosso Deus, Buscarei o seu bem.
