Psalms 122

1 A Song of Ascents; of David. I rejoiced when they said unto me: 'Let us go unto the house of the LORD.'

১মই আনন্দিত হ’লো, যেতিয়া লোকসকলে মোক ক’লে, “ব’লা, আমি যিহোৱাৰ গৃহলৈ যাওঁ।”

2 Our feet are standing within thy gates, O Jerusalem;

২হে যিৰূচালেম, আমি তোমাৰ দুৱাৰবোৰৰ ভিতৰত ভৰি থৈ থিয় হৈ আছোঁ।

3 Jerusalem, that art builded as a city that is compact together;

৩সেই যিৰূচালেমক একেলগে সুদৃঢ়ভাৱে সংযুক্ত কৰা এটি নগৰ হিচাবে গঢ়ি তোলা হৈছে।

4 Whither the tribes went up, even the tribes of the LORD, as a testimony unto Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the LORD.

৪সকলো ফৈদ সেই ঠাইলৈ উঠি যায়, তেওঁলোক যিহোৱাৰ লোকসকলৰ ফৈদ; তেওঁলোকে ইস্ৰায়েল জাতিৰ বাবে দিয়া আজ্ঞা অনুসাৰে যিহোৱাৰ নামৰ ধন্যবাদ কৰিবলৈ উঠি যায়।

5 For there were set thrones for judgment, the thrones of the house of David.

৫কিয়নো সেই ঠাইত বিচাৰৰ বাবে সিংহাসনবোৰ আছে, দায়ুদৰ বংশৰ সিংহাসনবোৰ স্থাপিত আছে।

6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem; may they prosper that love thee.

৬তোমালোকে যিৰূচালেমৰ শান্তিৰ অৰ্থে প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰা; “যিসকলে যিৰূচালেমক ভাল পায়, তেওঁলোক উন্নত হওঁক।

7 Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.

৭তোমালোকৰ প্রাচীৰবোৰৰ ভিতৰত শান্তি হওঁক, আৰু তোমালোকৰ উচ্চ অট্টালিকাবোৰ নিৰাপদে থাকক।”

8 For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say: 'Peace be within thee.'

৮মোৰ কুটুম্ব আৰু বন্ধুসকলৰ অর্থে মই ক’ম, “যিৰূচালেমৰ মাজত শান্তি থাকক।”

9 For the sake of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good.

৯আমাৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাৰ গৃহ সেই ঠাইত আছে বাবেই মই তোমাৰ মঙ্গল বিচাৰি প্ৰার্থনা কৰিম।
