Psalms 118
1 'O give thanks unto the LORD, for He is good, for His mercy endureth for ever.'
१यहोवा का धन्यवाद करो, क्योंकि वह भला है; और उसकी करुणा सदा की है!
2 So let Israel now say, for His mercy endureth for ever,
२इस्राएल कहे, उसकी करुणा सदा की है।
3 So let the house of Aaron now say, for His mercy endureth for ever.
३हारून का घराना कहे, उसकी करुणा सदा की है।
4 So let them now that fear the LORD say, for His mercy endureth for ever.
४यहोवा के डरवैये कहे, उसकी करुणा सदा की है।
5 Out of my straits I called upon the LORD; He answered me with great enlargement.
५मैंने सकेती में परमेश्वर को पुकारा, परमेश्वर ने मेरी सुनकर, मुझे चौड़े स्थान में पहुँचाया।
6 The LORD is for me; I will not fear; what can man do unto me?
६यहोवा मेरी ओर है, मैं न डरूँगा। मनुष्य मेरा क्या कर सकता है?
7 The LORD is for me as my helper; and I shall gaze upon them that hate me.
७यहोवा मेरी ओर मेरे सहायक है; मैं अपने बैरियों पर दृष्टि कर सन्तुष्ट होऊँगा।
8 It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man.
८यहोवा की शरण लेना, मनुष्य पर भरोसा रखने से उत्तम है।
9 It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in princes.
९यहोवा की शरण लेना, प्रधानों पर भी भरोसा रखने से उत्तम है।
10 All nations compass me about; verily, in the name of the LORD I will cut them off.
१०सब जातियों ने मुझ को घेर लिया है; परन्तु यहोवा के नाम से मैं निश्चय उन्हें नाश कर डालूँगा।
11 They compass me about, yea, they compass me about; verily, in the name of the LORD I will cut them off.
११उन्होंने मुझ को घेर लिया है, निःसन्देह, उन्होंने मुझे घेर लिया है; परन्तु यहोवा के नाम से मैं निश्चय उन्हें नाश कर डालूँगा।
12 They compass me about like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns; verily, in the name of the LORD I will cut them off.
१२उन्होंने मुझे मधुमक्खियों के समान घेर लिया है, परन्तु काँटों की आग के समान वे बुझ गए; यहोवा के नाम से मैं निश्चय उन्हें नाश कर डालूँगा!
13 Thou didst thrust sore at me that I might fall; but the LORD helped me.
१३तूने मुझे बड़ा धक्का दिया तो था, कि मैं गिर पड़ूँ, परन्तु यहोवा ने मेरी सहायता की।
14 The LORD is my strength and song; and He is become my salvation.
१४परमेश्वर मेरा बल और भजन का विषय है; वह मेरा उद्धार ठहरा है।
15 The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tents of the righteous; the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.
१५धर्मियों के तम्बुओं में जयजयकार और उद्धार की ध्वनि हो रही है, यहोवा के दाहिने हाथ से पराक्रम का काम होता है,
16 The right hand of the LORD is exalted; the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.
१६यहोवा का दाहिना हाथ महान हुआ है, यहोवा के दाहिने हाथ से पराक्रम का काम होता है!
17 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.
१७मैं न मरूँगा वरन् जीवित रहूँगा, और परमेश्वर के कामों का वर्णन करता रहूँगा।
18 The LORD hath chastened me sore; but He hath not given me over unto death.
१८परमेश्वर ने मेरी बड़ी ताड़ना तो की है परन्तु मुझे मृत्यु के वश में नहीं किया।
19 Open to me the gates of righteousness; I will enter into them, I will give thanks unto the LORD.
१९मेरे लिये धर्म के द्वार खोलो, मैं उनमें प्रवेश करके यहोवा का धन्यवाद करूँगा।
20 This is the gate of the LORD; the righteous shall enter into it.
२०यहोवा का द्वार यही है, इससे धर्मी प्रवेश करने पाएँगे।
21 I will give thanks unto Thee, for Thou hast answered me, and art become my salvation.
२१हे यहोवा, मैं तेरा धन्यवाद करूँगा, क्योंकि तूने मेरी सुन ली है, और मेरा उद्धार ठहर गया है।
22 The stone which the builders rejected is become the chief corner-stone.
२२राजमिस्त्रियों ने जिस पत्थर को निकम्मा ठहराया था वही कोने का सिरा हो गया है।
23 This is the LORD'S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.
२३यह तो यहोवा की ओर से हुआ है, यह हमारी दृष्टि में अद्भुत है।
24 This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
२४आज वह दिन है जो यहोवा ने बनाया है; हम इसमें मगन और आनन्दित हों।
25 We beseech Thee, O LORD, save now! We beseech Thee, O LORD, make us now to prosper!
२५हे यहोवा, विनती सुन, उद्धार कर! हे यहोवा, विनती सुन, सफलता दे!
26 Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD; we bless you out of the house of the LORD.
२६धन्य है वह जो यहोवा के नाम से आता है! हमने तुम को यहोवा के घर से आशीर्वाद दिया है।
27 The LORD is God, and hath given us light; order the festival procession with boughs, even unto the horns of the altar.
२७यहोवा परमेश्वर है, और उसने हमको प्रकाश दिया है। यज्ञपशु को वेदी के सींगों से रस्सियों से बाँधो!
28 Thou art my God, and I will give thanks unto Thee; Thou art my God, I will exalt Thee.
२८हे यहोवा, तू मेरा परमेश्वर है, मैं तेरा धन्यवाद करूँगा; तू मेरा परमेश्वर है, मैं तुझको सराहूँगा।
29 O give thanks unto the LORD, for He is good, for His mercy endureth for ever.
२९यहोवा का धन्यवाद करो, क्योंकि वह भला है; और उसकी करुणा सदा बनी रहेगी!
