Psalms 118
1 'O give thanks unto the LORD, for He is good, for His mercy endureth for ever.'
১ধন্যবাদ দাও সদাপ্রভুুকে, কারণ তিনি মঙ্গলময়, তাঁর বিশ্বস্ততার বিধি অনন্তকালস্থায়ী।
2 So let Israel now say, for His mercy endureth for ever,
২ইস্রায়েল বলুক, “তাঁর বিশ্বস্ততার বিধি অনন্তকালস্থায়ী।”
3 So let the house of Aaron now say, for His mercy endureth for ever.
৩হারোণের কূল বলুক, “তাঁর দয়া অনন্তকালস্থায়ী।”
4 So let them now that fear the LORD say, for His mercy endureth for ever.
৪সদাপ্রভুুর বিশ্বস্ত অনুগামীরা বলুক, “তাঁর বিশ্বস্ততার বিধি অনন্তকালস্থায়ী।”
5 Out of my straits I called upon the LORD; He answered me with great enlargement.
৫আমি সঙ্কটের মধ্য থেকে সদাপ্রভুুকে ডাকলাম; সদাপ্রভুু আমাকে উত্তর দিলেন এবং আমাকে মুক্ত করলেন।
6 The LORD is for me; I will not fear; what can man do unto me?
৬সদাপ্রভুু আমার সঙ্গে আছেন, আমি ভয় করব না; মানুষ আমার কি করতে পারে?
7 The LORD is for me as my helper; and I shall gaze upon them that hate me.
৭সদাপ্রভুু আমার পক্ষে আছেন আমার সাহায্যকারী হিসাবে, আমি বিজয়ী হব তাদের ওপর যারা আমাকে ঘৃণা করে।
8 It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man.
৮মানুষের ওপর বিশ্বাস করার থেকে সদাপ্রভুুর আশ্রয় নেওয়া ভালো।
9 It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in princes.
৯মানুষের ওপর আস্থা রাখার থেকে সদাপ্রভুুতে ভরসা করা ভালো।
10 All nations compass me about; verily, in the name of the LORD I will cut them off.
১০সমস্ত জাতি আমাকে ঘিরে আছে; সদাপ্রভুুর ক্ষমতায় আমি তাদেরকে বিচ্ছিন্ন করব।
11 They compass me about, yea, they compass me about; verily, in the name of the LORD I will cut them off.
১১তারা আমাকে ঘিরে আছে; হ্যাঁ, আমাকে ঘিরে আছে, সদাপ্রভুুর নামে আমি তাদেরকে বিচ্ছিন্ন করব।
12 They compass me about like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns; verily, in the name of the LORD I will cut them off.
১২তারা আমাকে ঘিরে আছে মৌমাছির মতো, তারা কাঁটার আগুনের মত অদৃশ্য হয়ে গেল; সদাপ্রভুুর নামে আমি তাদেরকে বিচ্ছিন্ন করব।
13 Thou didst thrust sore at me that I might fall; but the LORD helped me.
১৩তুমি আমাকে ফেলে দেবার জন্য আক্রমণ করলে, কিন্তু সদাপ্রভুু আমাকে সাহায্য করলেন।
14 The LORD is my strength and song; and He is become my salvation.
১৪সদাপ্রভুু আমার শক্তি এবং আনন্দ এবং তিনি একমাত্র আমার পরিত্রান দিয়েছেন।
15 The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tents of the righteous; the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.
১৫ধার্ম্মিকদের তাঁবু থেকে বিজয় আনন্দের চিত্কার শোনা যাচ্ছে সদাপ্রভুুর ডান হাত বিজেতা।
16 The right hand of the LORD is exalted; the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.
১৬সদাপ্রভুুর ডান হাত উন্নত, সদাপ্রভুুর ডান হাত বিজেতা।
17 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.
১৭আমি মরবো না, কিন্তু জীবিত থাকব এবং সদাপ্রভুুর কাজ ঘোষণা করবো।
18 The LORD hath chastened me sore; but He hath not given me over unto death.
১৮সদাপ্রভুু আমাকে কঠোরভাবে শাস্তি দিয়েছেন, কিন্তু মৃত্যুর হাতে সঁপে দেননি।
19 Open to me the gates of righteousness; I will enter into them, I will give thanks unto the LORD.
১৯আমার জন্য দরজা খুলে দাও যেখানে ঈশ্বরের লোকেরা প্রবেশ করে; আমি তার ভেতর যাবো এবং সদাপ্রভুুকে দেব।
20 This is the gate of the LORD; the righteous shall enter into it.
২০এটাই সদাপ্রভুুর দরজা, ধার্মিকরা এর ভেতর দিয়ে ঢোকে।
21 I will give thanks unto Thee, for Thou hast answered me, and art become my salvation.
২১আমি তোমাকে ধন্যবাদ দেবো, কারণ তুমি আমাকে উত্তর দিয়েছো এবং তুমি আমার পরিত্রান হয়েছ।
22 The stone which the builders rejected is become the chief corner-stone.
২২নির্মাতারা যে পাথর বাতিল করেছিল তা কোনের প্রধান পাথর হয়ে উঠল।
23 This is the LORD'S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.
২৩এটা সদাপ্রভুুর কাজ; এটা আমার চোখে অদ্ভুত।
24 This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
২৪এই সেই দিন যেদিন সদাপ্রভুু করেছেন; আমরা আনন্দ করবো এবং এতে আনন্দিত হবো।
25 We beseech Thee, O LORD, save now! We beseech Thee, O LORD, make us now to prosper!
২৫অনুগ্রহ করে আমাদের বিজয় দাও, সদাপ্রভুু।
26 Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD; we bless you out of the house of the LORD.
২৬ধন্য তিনি যিনি সদাপ্রভুুর নামে আসছেন; আমরা সদাপ্রভুুর ঘর থেকে তোমাদেরকে ধন্যবাদ করি।
27 The LORD is God, and hath given us light; order the festival procession with boughs, even unto the horns of the altar.
২৭সদাপ্রভুুই ঈশ্বর; তিনি আমাদেরকে আলো দিয়েছেন; তোমরা দড়ি দিয়ে উৎসবের বলি বেদির শিঙে বাঁধ।
28 Thou art my God, and I will give thanks unto Thee; Thou art my God, I will exalt Thee.
২৮তুমি আমার ঈশ্বর এবং আমি তোমাকে ধন্যবাদ দেবো তুমি আমার ঈশ্বর, আমি তোমাকে উচ্চে স্থাপন করব।
29 O give thanks unto the LORD, for He is good, for His mercy endureth for ever.
২৯ওহ তোমরা সদাপ্রভুুকে ধন্যবাদ দাও, কারণ তিনি মঙ্গলময়; কারণ তাঁর বিশ্বস্ত বিধি অনন্তকালস্থায়ী।
