Psalms 116
1 I love that the LORD should hear my voice and my supplications.
Tôi yêu mến Chúa Hằng Hữu vì Ngài nghe tiếng tôi cầu cứu.
2 Because He hath inclined His ear unto me, therefore will I call upon Him all my days.
Suốt đời, tôi sẽ kêu cầu Chúa, vì Ngài lắng nghe tôi khẩn nguyện.
3 The cords of death compassed me, and the straits of the nether-world got hold upon me; I found trouble and sorrow. (Sheol h7585)
Tôi mắc vào cạm bẫy tử thần; thống khổ âm phủ chụp đầu tôi. Gieo nỗi niềm đau thương, sầu muộn. (Sheol h7585)
4 But I called upon the name of the LORD: 'I beseech thee, O LORD, deliver my soul.'
Lúc ấy, tôi kêu cầu Danh Chúa Hằng Hữu: “Chúa Hằng Hữu ôi, xin Ngài giải cứu con.”
5 Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is compassionate.
Chúa Hằng Hữu đầy ân sủng và công chính! Đức Chúa Trời rủ lòng xót thương!
6 The LORD preserveth the simple; I was brought low, and He saved me.
Chúa Hằng Hữu bảo tồn người chân chất; khi tôi sụp xuống, Chúa liền đỡ nâng.
7 Return, O my soul, unto Thy rest; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.
Hồn ta hỡi, hãy về nơi an nghỉ, vì Chúa Hằng Hữu hậu đãi tôi.
8 For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from stumbling.
Chúa đã cứu linh hồn tôi khỏi chết, mắt tôi khỏi rơi lệ đầm đìa, chân tôi không hề vấp ngã.
9 I shall walk before the LORD in the lands of the living.
Trọn đời tôi sẽ tiến bước theo Chúa Hằng Hữu, suốt hành trình của tôi trên trần thế.
10 I trusted even when I spoke: 'I am greatly afflicted.'
Tôi vững tin nơi Ngài, nên nói: “Con đau khổ vô ngần, lạy Chúa Hằng Hữu.”
11 I said in my haste: 'All men are liars.'
Trong cơn bối rối, tôi kêu khóc với Ngài: “Tất cả mọi người đều nói dối!”
12 How can I repay unto the LORD all His bountiful dealings toward me?
Giờ đây, Chúa đã ra tay cứu độ, tôi làm sao báo đáp ân Ngài?
13 I will lift up the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.
Tôi sẽ nâng chén cứu rỗi lên và khẩn cầu trong Danh Chúa Hằng Hữu.
14 My vows will I pay unto the LORD, yea, in the presence of all His people.
Tôi sẽ trung tín giữ điều hứa nguyện với Chúa Hằng Hữu, trước mặt toàn dân của Ngài.
15 Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints.
Chúa Hằng Hữu quý trọng mạng sống của người trung tín với Chúa khi họ qua đời.
16 I beseech Thee, O LORD, for I am Thy servant; I am Thy servant, the son of Thy handmaid; Thou hast loosed my bands.
Lạy Chúa Hằng Hữu, con là đầy tớ Ngài; phải, thân phận như con cái của nô tỳ Ngài; nhưng Chúa đã giải cứu con khỏi xiềng xích.
17 I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.
Con sẽ hiến dâng lễ vật tạ ơn Ngài và kêu cầu Danh Chúa Hằng Hữu.
18 I will pay my vows unto the LORD, yea, in the presence of all His people;
Con sẽ trung tín giữ điều hứa nguyện với Chúa Hằng Hữu, trước mặt dân của Ngài—
19 In the courts of the LORD'S house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Hallelujah.
tại hành lang của Chúa Hằng Hữu, giữa Giê-ru-sa-lem. Tung hô Chúa Hằng Hữu!
