Psalms 116
1 I love that the LORD should hear my voice and my supplications.
੧ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਤੇ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਅਰਜੋਈਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਦਾ ਹੈ।
2 Because He hath inclined His ear unto me, therefore will I call upon Him all my days.
੨ਉਹ ਨੇ ਜੋ ਮੇਰੀ ਵੱਲ ਕੰਨ ਲਾਇਆ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਜੀਵਨ ਭਰ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਕਾਰਾਂਗਾ।
3 The cords of death compassed me, and the straits of the nether-world got hold upon me; I found trouble and sorrow. (Sheol h7585)
੩ਮੌਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਡੋਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਵਲ ਲਿਆ, ਪਤਾਲ ਦੇ ਦੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਣ ਲੱਭਿਆ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਖ ਤੇ ਸੋਗ ਮਿਲਿਆ। (Sheol h7585)
4 But I called upon the name of the LORD: 'I beseech thee, O LORD, deliver my soul.'
੪ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਕਾਰਿਆ, ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਛੁਡਾ ਲਈ!
5 Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is compassionate.
੫ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਯਾਵਾਨ ਤੇ ਧਰਮੀ ਹੈ, ਸਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਕਿਰਪਾਲੂ ਹੈ।
6 The LORD preserveth the simple; I was brought low, and He saved me.
੬ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਭੋਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਹੀਣਾ ਪੈ ਗਿਆ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਇਆ।
7 Return, O my soul, unto Thy rest; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.
੭ਹੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਾਨ, ਆਪਣੇ ਟਿਕਾਣੇ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਚੱਲ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਰਉਪਕਾਰ ਜੋ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ,
8 For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from stumbling.
੮ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਮੌਤ ਤੋਂ, ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਝੂਆਂ ਤੋਂ, ਮੇਰੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਲਕਣ ਤੋਂ ਛੁਡਾਇਆ ਹੈ।
9 I shall walk before the LORD in the lands of the living.
੯ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ-ਅੱਗੇ ਜਿਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਰਾਂਗਾ।
10 I trusted even when I spoke: 'I am greatly afflicted.'
੧੦ਜਦ ਮੈਂ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਜਿਆਦਾ ਦੁੱਖੀ ਹੋਇਆ ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਮੈਂ ਨਿਰੰਤਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕੀਤਾ ।
11 I said in my haste: 'All men are liars.'
੧੧ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਘਬਰਾਹਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਖ ਬੈਠਾ, ਕਿ ਹਰੇਕ ਆਦਮੀ ਝੂਠਾ ਹੈ।
12 How can I repay unto the LORD all His bountiful dealings toward me?
੧੨ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਉਪਕਾਰਾਂ ਲਈ, ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਕੀ ਮੋੜ ਕੇ ਦਿਆਂ?
13 I will lift up the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.
੧੩ਮੈਂ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਦਾ ਪਿਆਲਾ ਚੁੱਕਾਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਕਾਰਾਂਗਾ।
14 My vows will I pay unto the LORD, yea, in the presence of all His people.
੧੪ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਸੁੱਖਣਾਂ ਲਾਹਵਾਂਗਾ, ਹਾਂ, ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ।
15 Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints.
੧੫ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਬਹੁਮੁੱਲੀ ਹੈ!
16 I beseech Thee, O LORD, for I am Thy servant; I am Thy servant, the son of Thy handmaid; Thou hast loosed my bands.
੧੬ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੈਂ ਸੱਚ-ਮੁੱਚ ਤੇਰਾ ਦਾਸ ਹਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੀ ਦਾਸ ਹਾਂ, ਤੇਰੀ ਦਾਸੀ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਤੂੰ ਤਾਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਬੰਧਨ ਖੋਲ੍ਹੇ ਹਨ।
17 I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.
੧੭ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਦਾ ਬਲੀਦਾਨ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਵਾਂਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਕਾਰਾਂਗਾ।
18 I will pay my vows unto the LORD, yea, in the presence of all His people;
੧੮ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਸੁੱਖਣਾਂ ਲਾਹਵਾਂਗਾ, ਹਾਂ, ਇਹ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ,
19 In the courts of the LORD'S house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Hallelujah.
੧੯ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਦਰਗਾਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ, ਹੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ, ਤੇਰੇ ਐਨ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ। ਹਲਲੂਯਾਹ!।
