Psalms 107
1 BOOK V 'O give thanks unto the LORD, for He is good, for His mercy endureth for ever.'
| خداوند را حمد بگویید زیرا که اونیکو است و رحمت او باقی است تا ابدالاباد. | ۱ |
2 So let the redeemed of the LORD say, whom He hath redeemed from the hand of the adversary;
| فدیه شدگان خداوند این را بگویند که ایشان را از دست دشمن فدیه داده است. | ۲ |
3 And gathered them out of the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the sea.
| وایشان را از بلدان جمع کرده، از مشرق و مغرب واز شمال و جنوب. | ۳ |
4 They wandered in the wilderness in a desert way; they found no city of habitation.
| در صحرا آواره شدند و دربادیه‌ای بی‌طریق و شهری برای سکونت نیافتند. | ۴ |
5 Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.
| گرسنه و تشنه نیز شدند و جان ایشان در ایشان مستمند گردید. | ۵ |
6 Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and He delivered them out of their distresses.
| آنگاه در تنگی خود نزدخداوند فریاد برآوردند و ایشان را از تنگیهای ایشان رهایی بخشید. | ۶ |
7 And He led them by a straight way, that they might go to a city of habitation.
| و ایشان را به راه مستقیم رهبری نمود، تا به شهری مسکون درآمدند. | ۷ |
8 Let them give thanks unto the LORD for His mercy, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!
| پس خداوند را به‌سبب رحمتش تشکرنمایند و به‌سبب کارهای عجیب وی با بنی آدم. | ۸ |
9 For He hath satisfied the longing soul, and the hungry soul He hath filled with good.
| زیرا که جان آرزومند را سیر گردانید و جان گرسنه را از چیزهای نیکو پر ساخت. | ۹ |
10 Such as sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron —
| آنانی که در تاریکی و سایه موت نشسته بودند، که درمذلت و آهن بسته شده بودند. | ۱۰ |
11 Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contemned the counsel of the Most High.
| زیرا به کلام خدامخالفت نمودند و به نصیحت حضرت اعلی اهانت کردند. | ۱۱ |
12 Therefore He humbled their heart with travail, they stumbled, and there was none to help —
| و او دل ایشان را به مشقت ذلیل ساخت. بلغزیدند و مدد کننده‌ای نبود. | ۱۲ |
13 They cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and He saved them out of their distresses.
| آنگاه در تنگی خود نزد خداوند فریاد برآوردند وایشان را از تنگیهای ایشان رهایی بخشید. | ۱۳ |
14 He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and broke their bands in sunder.
| ایشان را از تاریکی و سایه موت بیرون آورد وبندهای ایشان را بگسست. | ۱۴ |
15 Let them give thanks unto the LORD for His mercy, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!
| پس خداوند را به‌سبب رحمتش تشکرنمایند و به‌سبب کارهای عجیب او با بنی آدم. | ۱۵ |
16 For He hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder.
| زیرا که دروازه های برنجین را شکسته، وبندهای آهنین را پاره کرده است. | ۱۶ |
17 Crazed because of the way of their transgression, and afflicted because of their iniquities —
| احمقان به‌سبب طریق شریرانه خود و به‌سبب گناهان خویش، خود را ذلیل ساختند. | ۱۷ |
18 Their soul abhorred all manner of food, and they drew near unto the gates of death —
| جان ایشان هرقسم خوراک را مکروه داشت و به دروازه های موت نزدیک شدند. | ۱۸ |
19 They cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and He saved them out of their distresses;
| آنگاه در تنگی خود نزدخداوند فریاد برآوردند و ایشان را از تنگیهای ایشان رهایی بخشید. | ۱۹ |
20 He sent His word, and healed them, and delivered them from their graves.
| کلام خود را فرستاده، ایشان را شفا بخشید و ایشان را از هلاکتهای ایشان رهانید. | ۲۰ |
21 Let them give thanks unto the LORD for His mercy, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!
| پس خداوند را به‌سبب رحمتش تشکرنمایند و به‌سبب کارهای عجیب او با بنی آدم. | ۲۱ |
22 And let them offer the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare His works with singing.
| و قربانی های تشکر را بگذرانند و اعمال وی رابه ترنم ذکر کنند. | ۲۲ |
23 They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters —
| آنانی که در کشتیها به دریارفتند، و در آبهای کثیر شغل کردند. | ۲۳ |
24 These saw the works of the LORD, and His wonders in the deep;
| اینان کارهای خداوند را دیدند و اعمال عجیب او را درلجه‌ها. | ۲۴ |
25 For He commanded, and raised the stormy wind, which lifted up the waves thereof;
| او گفت پس باد تند را وزانید و امواج آن را برافراشت. | ۲۵ |
26 They mounted up to the heaven, they went down to the deeps; their soul melted away because of trouble;
| به آسمانها بالا رفتند و به لجه‌ها فرود شدند و جان ایشان از سخنی گداخته گردید. | ۲۶ |
27 They reeled to and fro, and staggered like a drunken man, and all their wisdom was swallowed up —
| سرگردان گشته، مثل مستان افتان وخیزان شدند و عقل ایشان تمام حیران گردید. | ۲۷ |
28 They cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and He brought them out of their distresses.
| آنگاه در تنگی خود نزد خداوند فریادبرآوردند و ایشان را از تنگیهای ایشان رهایی بخشید. | ۲۸ |
29 He made the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof were still.
| طوفان را به آرامی ساکت ساخت که موجهایش ساکن گردید. | ۲۹ |
30 Then were they glad because they were quiet, and He led them unto their desired haven.
| پس مسرور شدندزیرا که آسایش یافتند و ایشان را به بندر مرادایشان رسانید. | ۳۰ |
31 Let them give thanks unto the LORD for His mercy, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!
| پس خداوند را به‌سبب رحمتش تشکرنمایند و به‌سبب کارهای عجیب او با بنی آدم. | ۳۱ |
32 Let them exalt Him also in the assembly of the people, and praise Him in the seat of the elders.
| و او را در مجمع قوم متعال بخوانند و درمجلس مشایخ او را تسبیح بگویند. | ۳۲ |
33 He turneth rivers into a wilderness, and watersprings into a thirsty ground;
| او نهرها رابه بادیه مبدل کرد و چشمه های آب را به زمین تشنه. | ۳۳ |
34 A fruitful land into a salt waste, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein.
| و زمین بارور را نیز به شوره زار، به‌سبب شرارت ساکنان آن. | ۳۴ |
35 He turneth a wilderness into a pool of water, and a dry land into watersprings.
| بادیه را به دریاچه آب مبدل کرد و زمین خشک را به چشمه های آب. | ۳۵ |
36 And there He maketh the hungry to dwell, and they establish a city of habitation;
| و گرسنگان را در آنجا ساکن ساخت تا شهری برای سکونت بنا نمودند. | ۳۶ |
37 And sow fields, and plant vineyards, which yield fruits of increase.
| و مزرعه‌ها کاشتند وتاکستانها غرس نمودند و حاصل غله به عمل آوردند. | ۳۷ |
38 He blesseth them also, so that they are multiplied greatly, and suffereth not their cattle to decrease.
| و ایشان را برکت داد تا به غایت کثیرشدند و بهایم ایشان را نگذارد کم شوند. | ۳۸ |
39 Again, they are minished and dwindle away through oppression of evil and sorrow.
| و بازکم گشتند و ذلیل شدند، از ظلم و شقاوت و حزن. | ۳۹ |
40 He poureth contempt upon princes, and causeth them to wander in the waste, where there is no way.
| ذلت را بر روسا می‌ریزد و ایشان را در بادیه‌ای که راه ندارد آواره می‌سازد. | ۴۰ |
41 Yet setteth He the needy on high from affliction, and maketh his families like a flock.
| اما مسکین را ازمشقتش برمی افروزد و قبیله‌ها را مثل گله هابرایش پیدا می‌کند. | ۴۱ |
42 The upright see it, and are glad; and all iniquity stoppeth her mouth.
| صالحان این را دیده، شادمان می‌شوند و تمامی شرارت دهان خود راخواهد بست. | ۴۲ |
43 Whoso is wise, let him observe these things, and let them consider the mercies of the LORD.
| کیست خردمند تا بدین چیزهاتفکر نماید؟ که ایشان رحمت های خداوند راخواهند فهمید. | ۴۳ |
