Psalms 105
1 O give thanks unto the LORD, call upon His name; make known His doings among the peoples.
| اِحْمَدُوا ٱلرَّبَّ. ٱدْعُوا بِٱسْمِهِ. عَرِّفُوا بَيْنَ ٱلْأُمَمِ بِأَعْمَالِهِ. | ١ |
2 Sing unto Him, sing praises unto Him; speak ye of all His marvellous works.
| غَنُّوا لَهُ. رَنِّمُوا لَهُ. أَنْشِدُوا بِكُلِّ عَجَائِبِهِ. | ٢ |
3 Glory ye in His holy name; let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.
| ٱفْتَخِرُوا بِٱسْمِهِ ٱلْقُدُّوسِ. لِتَفْرَحْ قُلُوبُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَلْتَمِسُونَ ٱلرَّبَّ. | ٣ |
4 Seek ye the LORD and His strength; seek His face continually.
| اُطْلُبُوا ٱلرَّبَّ وَقُدْرَتَهُ. ٱلْتَمِسُوا وَجْهَهُ دَائِمًا. | ٤ |
5 Remember His marvellous works that He hath done, His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth;
| ٱذْكُرُوا عَجَائِبَهُ ٱلَّتِي صَنَعَ، آيَاتِهِ وَأَحْكَامَ فِيهِ، | ٥ |
6 O ye seed of Abraham His servant, ye children of Jacob, His chosen ones.
| يَا ذُرِّيَّةَ إِبْراهِيمَ عَبْدِهِ، يَا بَنِي يَعْقُوبَ مُخْتَارِيهِ. | ٦ |
7 He is the LORD our God; His judgments are in all the earth.
| هُوَ ٱلرَّبُّ إِلَهُنَا فِي كُلِّ ٱلْأَرْضِ أَحْكَامُهُ. | ٧ |
8 He hath remembered His covenant for ever, the word which He commanded to a thousand generations;
| ذَكَرَ إِلَى ٱلدَّهْرِ عَهْدَهُ، كَلَامًا أَوْصَى بِهِ إِلَى أَلْفِ دَوْرٍ، | ٨ |
9 The covenant which He made with Abraham, and His oath unto Isaac;
| ٱلَّذِي عَاهَدَ بِهِ إِبْراهِيمَ، وَقَسَمَهُ لِإِسْحاقَ، | ٩ |
10 And He established it unto Jacob for a statute, to Israel for an everlasting covenant;
| فَثَبَّتَهُ لِيَعْقُوبَ فَرِيضَةً، وَلِإِسْرَائِيلَ عَهْدًا أَبَدِيًّا، | ١٠ |
11 Saying: 'Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance.'
| قَائِلًا: «لَكَ أُعْطِي أَرْضَ كَنْعَانَ حَبْلَ مِيرَاثِكُمْ». | ١١ |
12 When they were but a few men in number. Yea, very few, and sojourners in it,
| إِذْ كَانُوا عَدَدًا يُحْصَى، قَلِيلِينَ وَغُرَبَاءَ فِيهَا. | ١٢ |
13 And when they went about from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people,
| ذَهَبُوا مِنْ أُمَّةٍ إِلَى أُمَّةٍ، مِنْ مَمْلَكَةٍ إِلَى شَعْبٍ آخَرَ. | ١٣ |
14 He suffered no man to do them wrong, yea, for their sake He reproved kings:
| فَلَمْ يَدَعْ إِنْسَانًا يَظْلِمُهُمْ، بَلْ وَبَّخَ مُلُوكًا مِنْ أَجْلِهِمْ، | ١٤ |
15 'Touch not Mine anointed ones, and do My prophets no harm.'
| قَائِلًا: «لَا تَمَسُّوا مُسَحَائِي، وَلَا تُسِيئُوا إِلَى أَنْبِيَائِي». | ١٥ |
16 And He called a famine upon the land; He broke the whole staff of bread.
| دَعَا بِٱلْجُوعِ عَلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ. كَسَرَ قِوَامَ ٱلْخُبْزِ كُلَّهُ. | ١٦ |
17 He sent a man before them; Joseph was sold for a servant;
| أَرْسَلَ أَمَامَهُمْ رَجُلًا. بِيعَ يُوسُفُ عَبْدًا. | ١٧ |
18 His feet they hurt with fetters, his person was laid in iron;
| آذَوْا بِٱلْقَيْدِ رِجْلَيْهِ. فِي ٱلْحَدِيدِ دَخَلَتْ نَفْسُهُ، | ١٨ |
19 Until the time that his word came to pass, the word of the LORD tested him.
| إِلَى وَقْتِ مَجِيءِ كَلِمَتِهِ. قَوْلُ ٱلرَّبِّ ٱمْتَحَنَهُ. | ١٩ |
20 The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the peoples, and set him free.
| أَرْسَلَ ٱلْمَلِكُ فَحَلَّهُ. أَرْسَلَ سُلْطَانُ ٱلشَّعْبِ فَأَطْلَقَهُ. | ٢٠ |
21 He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his possessions;
| أَقَامَهُ سَيِّدًا عَلَى بَيْتِهِ، وَمُسَلَّطًا عَلَى كُلِّ مُلْكِهِ، | ٢١ |
22 To bind his princes at his pleasure, and teach his elders wisdom.
| لِيَأْسُرَ رُؤَسَاءَهُ حَسَبَ إِرَادَتِهِ وَيُعَلِّمَ مَشَايِخَهُ حِكْمَةً. | ٢٢ |
23 Israel also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.
| فَجَاءَ إِسْرَائِيلُ إِلَى مِصْرَ، وَيَعْقُوبُ تَغَرَّبَ فِي أَرْضِ حَامٍ. | ٢٣ |
24 And He increased His people greatly, and made them too mighty for their adversaries.
| جَعَلَ شَعْبَهُ مُثْمِرًا جِدًّا، وَأَعَزَّهُ عَلَى أَعْدَائِهِ. | ٢٤ |
25 He turned their heart to hate His people, to deal craftily with His servants.
| حَوَّلَ قُلُوبَهُمْ لِيُبْغِضُوا شَعْبَهُ، لِيَحْتَالُوا عَلَى عَبِيدِهِ. | ٢٥ |
26 He sent Moses His servant, and Aaron whom He had chosen.
| أَرْسَلَ مُوسَى عَبْدَهُ وَهارُونَ ٱلَّذِي ٱخْتَارَهُ. | ٢٦ |
27 They wrought among them His manifold signs, and wonders in the land of Ham.
| أَقَامَا بَيْنَهُمْ كَلَامَ آيَاتِهِ، وَعَجَائِبَ فِي أَرْضِ حَامٍ. | ٢٧ |
28 He sent darkness, and it was dark; and they rebelled not against His word.
| أَرْسَلَ ظُلْمَةً فَأَظْلَمَتْ، وَلَمْ يَعْصَوْا كَلَامَهُ. | ٢٨ |
29 He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.
| حَوَّلَ مِيَاهَهُمْ إِلَى دَمٍ وَقَتَلَ أَسْمَاكَهُمْ. | ٢٩ |
30 Their land swarmed with frogs, in the chambers of their kings.
| أَفَاضَتْ أَرْضُهُمْ ضَفَادِعَ حَتَّى فِي مَخَادِعِ مُلُوكِهِمْ. | ٣٠ |
31 He spoke, and there came swarms of flies, and gnats in all their borders.
| أَمَرَ فَجَاءَ ٱلذُّبَّانُ وَٱلْبَعُوضُ فِي كُلِّ تُخُومِهِمْ. | ٣١ |
32 He gave them hail for rain, and flaming fire in their land.
| جَعَلَ أَمْطَارَهُمْ بَرَدًا وَنَارًا مُلْتَهِبَةً فِي أَرْضِهِمْ. | ٣٢ |
33 He smote their vines also and their fig-trees; and broke the trees of their borders.
| ضَرَبَ كُرُومَهُمْ وَتِينَهُمْ، وَكَسَّرَ كُلَّ أَشْجَارِ تُخُومِهِمْ. | ٣٣ |
34 He spoke, and the locust came, and the canker-worm without number,
| أَمَرَ فَجَاءَ ٱلْجَرَادُ وَغَوْغَاءُ بِلَا عَدَدٍ، | ٣٤ |
35 And did eat up every herb in their land, and did eat up the fruit of their ground.
| فَأَكَلَ كُلَّ عُشْبٍ فِي بِلَادِهِمْ، وَأَكَلَ أَثْمَارَ أَرْضِهِمْ. | ٣٥ |
36 He smote also all the first-born in their land, the first-fruits of all their strength.
| قَتَلَ كُلَّ بِكْرٍ فِي أَرْضِهِمْ، أَوَائِلَ كُلِّ قُوَّتِهِمْ. | ٣٦ |
37 And He brought them forth with silver and gold; and there was none that stumbled among His tribes.
| فَأَخْرَجَهُمْ بِفِضَّةٍ وَذَهَبٍ، وَلَمْ يَكُنْ فِي أَسْبَاطِهِمْ عَاثِرٌ. | ٣٧ |
38 Egypt was glad when they departed; for the fear of them had fallen upon them.
| فَرِحَتْ مِصْرُ بِخُرُوجِهِمْ، لِأَنَّ رُعْبَهُمْ سَقَطَ عَلَيْهِمْ. | ٣٨ |
39 He spread a cloud for a screen; and fire to give light in the night.
| بَسَطَ سَحَابًا سَجْفًا، وَنَارًا لِتُضِيءَ ٱللَّيْلَ. | ٣٩ |
40 They asked, and He brought quails, and gave them in plenty the bread of heaven.
| سَأَلُوا فَأَتَاهُمْ بِٱلسَّلْوَى، وَخُبْزَ ٱلسَّمَاءِ أَشْبَعَهُمْ. | ٤٠ |
41 He opened the rock, and waters gushed out; they ran, a river in the dry places.
| شَقَّ ٱلصَّخْرَةَ فَٱنْفَجَرَتِ ٱلْمِيَاهُ. جَرَتْ فِي ٱلْيَابِسَةِ نَهْرًا. | ٤١ |
42 For He remembered His holy word unto Abraham His servant;
| لِأَنَّهُ ذَكَرَ كَلِمَةَ قُدْسِهِ مَعَ إِبْراهِيمَ عَبْدِهِ، | ٤٢ |
43 And He brought forth His people with joy, His chosen ones with singing.
| فَأَخْرَجَ شَعْبَهُ بِٱبْتِهَاجٍ، وَمُخْتَارِيهِ بِتَرَنُّمٍ. | ٤٣ |
44 And He gave them the lands of the nations, and they took the labour of the peoples in possession;
| وَأَعْطَاهُمْ أَرَاضِيَ ٱلْأُمَمِ، وَتَعَبَ ٱلشُّعُوبِ وَرِثُوهُ، | ٤٤ |
45 That they might keep His statutes, and observe His laws. Hallelujah.
| لِكَيْ يَحْفَظُوا فَرَائِضَهُ وَيُطِيعُوا شَرَائِعَهُ. هَلِّلُويَا. | ٤٥ |
