Psalms 104
1 Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, Thou art very great; Thou art clothed with glory and majesty.
੧ਹੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਾਨ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਆਖ, ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੇਰੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਤੂੰ ਅੱਤ ਮਹਾਨ ਹੈਂ, ਤੂੰ ਤੇਜ ਅਤੇ ਉਪਮਾ ਦੀ ਪੁਸ਼ਾਕ ਪਹਿਨੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ!
2 Who coverest Thyself with light as with a garment, who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain;
੨ਤੂੰ ਚਾਨਣ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਸ਼ਾਕ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਹੈਂ, ਤੂੰ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਪੜਦੇ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਤਾਣਦਾ ਹੈਂ,
3 Who layest the beams of Thine upper chambers in the waters, who makest the clouds Thy chariot, who walkest upon the wings of the wind;
੩ਤੂੰ ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਚੁਬਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਤੀਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਣੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਬੀੜਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਜੋ ਘਟਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਥ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਅਤੇ ਹਵਾ ਦੇ ਪਰਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੈਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ,
4 Who makest winds Thy messengers, the flaming fire Thy ministers.
੪ਤੂੰ ਹਵਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਲਕਾਰੇ, ਅਤੇ ਅੱਗ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਾਟਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ।
5 Who didst establish the earth upon its foundations, that it should not be moved for ever and ever;
੫ਤੂੰ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੀ ਨੀਂਹ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਇਮ ਕੀਤਾ, ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸਦਾ ਤੱਕ ਅਟੱਲ ਰਹੇ।
6 Thou didst cover it with the deep as with a vesture; the waters stood above the mountains.
੬ਤੂੰ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਡੂੰਘਿਆਈ ਨਾਲ ਇਉਂ ਕੱਜਿਆ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਪੁਸ਼ਾਕ ਨਾਲ, ਪਾਣੀ ਪਹਾੜਾਂ ਦੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਖਲੋ ਗਏ।
7 At Thy rebuke they fled, at the voice of Thy thunder they hasted away —
੭ਓਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਦਬਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਨੱਠ ਗਏ, ਉਹ ਤੇਰੀ ਗੜ੍ਹਕ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ਤਾਬੀ ਭੱਜੇ,
8 The mountains rose, the valleys sank down — unto the place which Thou hadst founded for them;
੮ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਤੂੰ ਨੀਂਹ ਰੱਖੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ, ਪਰਬਤ ਉਤਾਂਹ ਚੜ੍ਹੇ, ਦੂਣਾ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਉੱਤਰੀਆਂ,
9 Thou didst set a bound which they should not pass over, that they might not return to cover the earth.
੯ਤੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਹੱਦ ਠਹਿਰਾ ਰੱਖੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਓਹ ਅੱਗੇ ਨਾ ਲੰਘਣ, ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਮੁੜ ਕੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਢੱਕ ਲੈਣ।
10 Who sendest forth springs into the valleys; they run between the mountains;
੧੦ਤੂੰ ਚਸ਼ਮੇ ਵਾਦੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਗਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਓਹ ਪਹਾੜਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਚੱਲਦੇ ਹਨ।
11 They give drink to every beast of the field, the wild asses quench their thirst.
੧੧ਰੜ ਦੇ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪੀਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜੰਗਲੀ ਗਧੇ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਤੇਹ ਬੁਝਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
12 Beside them dwell the fowl of the heaven, from among the branches they sing.
੧੨ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਾਗੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਦੇ ਪੰਖੇਰੂ ਵਸੇਰਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਟਹਿਣੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਬੋਲਦੇ ਹਨ।
13 Who waterest the mountains from Thine upper chambers; the earth is full of the fruit of Thy works.
੧੩ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਉੱਚੇ ਸਥਾਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਾੜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੰਜਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਫਲ ਨਾਲ ਧਰਤੀ ਰੱਜਦੀ ਹੈ।
14 Who causeth the grass to spring up for the cattle, and herb for the service of man; to bring forth bread out of the earth,
੧੪ਤੂੰ ਡੰਗਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਘਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਲਈ ਸਾਗ ਪੱਤ ਉਗਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਕਿ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਆਹਾਰ ਕੱਢੇਂ,
15 And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, making the face brighter than oil, and bread that stayeth man's heart.
੧੫ਦਾਖ਼ਰਸ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਨੂੰ ਅਨੰਦ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਲ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖੜੇ ਨੂੰ ਚਮਕਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਨਾਲੇ ਰੋਟੀ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਨੂੰ ਤਕੜਿਆਂ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ।
16 The trees of the LORD have their fill, the cedars of Lebanon, which He hath planted;
੧੬ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਰੁੱਖ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ, ਲਬਾਨੋਨ ਦੇ ਦਿਆਰ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਲਾਏ,
17 Wherein the birds make their nests; as for the stork, the fir-trees are her house.
੧੭ਜਿੱਥੇ ਚਿੜ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਹਲਣੇ ਬਣਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਲਮਢੀਂਗ ਦਾ ਘਰ ਚੀਲ ਦੇ ਰੁੱਖਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੈ।
18 The high mountains are for the wild goats; the rocks are a refuge for the conies.
੧੮ਉੱਚੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਬੱਕਰੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਹਨ, ਢਿੱਗਾਂ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਖਰਗੋਸ਼ਾਂ ਲਈ ਓਟ ਹਨ।
19 Who appointedst the moon for seasons; the sun knoweth his going down.
੧੯ਉਹ ਨੇ ਚੰਦ ਨੂੰ ਥਿਤਾਂ ਲਈ ਬਣਾਇਆ, ਸੂਰਜ ਆਪਣੇ ਡੁੱਬਣ ਦਾ ਵੇਲਾ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ।
20 Thou makest darkness, and it is night, wherein all the beasts of the forest do creep forth.
੨੦ਤੂੰ ਅਨ੍ਹੇਰਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਤਦ ਸਾਰੇ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਦੱਬੀਂ ਪੈਰੀਂ ਨਿੱਕਲਦੇ ਹਨ।
21 The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their food from God.
੨੧ਜੁਆਨ ਬੱਬਰ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਲਈ ਗੱਜਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਅਹਾਰ ਮੰਗਦੇ ਹਨ,
22 The sun ariseth, they slink away, and couch in their dens.
੨੨ਸੂਰਜ ਚੜਦੇ ਹੀ ਓਹ ਖਿਸਕ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣਿਆਂ ਘੁਰਨਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾ ਬਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
23 Man goeth forth unto his work and to his labour until the evening.
੨੩ਇਨਸਾਨ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੰਮ ਧੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਨਿੱਕਲਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਾਂ ਤੋੜੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
24 How manifold are Thy works, O LORD! In wisdom hast Thou made them all; the earth is full of Thy creatures.
੨੪ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੇਰੇ ਕੰਮ ਕੇਡੇ ਢੇਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਹਨ! ਤੂੰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੁੱਧੀ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਜਿਆ ਹੈ, ਧਰਤੀ ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਰਚਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ!
25 Yonder sea, great and wide, therein are creeping things innumerable, living creatures, both small and great.
੨੫ਉੱਥੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵੱਡਾ ਤੇ ਚੌੜਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਭੁੜਕਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਣਗਿਣਤ ਹਨ, ਓਹ ਨਿੱਕੇ-ਨਿੱਕੇ ਤੇ ਵੱਡੇ-ਵੱਡੇ ਜੀਵ ਹਨ!
26 There go the ships; there is leviathan, whom Thou hast formed to sport therein.
੨੬ਉੱਥੇ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਚੱਲਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਲਿਵਯਾਥਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਖੇਡਣ ਲਈ ਰਚਿਆ।
27 All of them wait for Thee, that Thou mayest give them their food in due season.
੨੭ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਉਡੀਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ, ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਵੇਲੇ ਸਿਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਅਹਾਰ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਵੇਂ।
28 Thou givest it unto them, they gather it; Thou openest Thy hand, they are satisfied with good.
੨੮ਤੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਓਹ ਚੁਗ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਮੁੱਠੀ ਖੋਲ੍ਹਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਓਹ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਰੱਜ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
29 Thou hidest Thy face, they vanish; Thou withdrawest their breath, they perish, and return to their dust.
੨੯ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਮੁਖੜਾ ਲੁਕਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਓਹ ਘਬਰਾ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਹ ਕੱਢ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਓਹ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਤਿਆਗਦੇ, ਅਤੇ ਮੁੜ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਲ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
30 Thou sendest forth Thy spirit, they are created; and Thou renewest the face of the earth.
੩੦ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਆਤਮਾ ਭੇਜਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਓਹ ਉਤਪੰਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਨੂੰ ਨਵਾਂ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈਂ।
31 May the glory of the LORD endure for ever; let the LORD rejoice in His works!
੩੧ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਹੋਵੇ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਅਨੰਦ ਹੋਵੇ,
32 Who looketh on the earth, and it trembleth; He toucheth the mountains, and they smoke.
੩੨ਜੋ ਧਰਤੀ ਵੱਲ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਮਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਕੰਬ ਉੱਠਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਪਹਾੜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਟੁੰਬਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਧੂੰਆਂ ਨਿੱਕਲਦਾ ਹੈ!
33 I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have any being.
੩੩ਮੈਂ ਜੀਵਨ ਭਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਗਾਵਾਂਗਾ, ਜਿੰਨਾਂ ਚਿਰ ਮੈਂ ਰਹਾਂਗਾ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਲਈ ਭਜਨ ਗਾਵਾਂਗਾ!
34 Let my musing be sweet unto Him; as for me, I will rejoice in the LORD.
੩੪ਮੇਰਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਵੇ, ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਗਨ ਰਹਾਂਗਾ।
35 Let sinners cease out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless the LORD, O my soul. Hallelujah.
੩੫ਪਾਪੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਮਿਟ ਜਾਣ, ਅਤੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਬਾਕੀ ਨਾ ਰਹਿਣ! ਹੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਾਨ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਆਖ, ਹਲਲੂਯਾਹ!।
