Psalms 102
1 A Prayer of the afflicted, when he fainteth, and poureth out his complaint before the LORD. O LORD, hear my prayer, and let my cry come unto Thee.
૧દુ: ખીની પ્રાર્થના; આકુળવ્યાકુળ થઈને તે યહોવાહની સમક્ષ શોકનો સાદ કાઢે છે. હે યહોવાહ, મારી પ્રાર્થના સાંભળો; મારા પોકારને તમારી પાસે આવવા દો.
2 Hide not Thy face from me in the day of my distress; incline Thine ear unto me; in the day when I call answer me speedily.
૨મારા સંકટના દિવસે તમારું મુખ મારાથી ન ફેરવો. મારું સાંભળો. જ્યારે હું તમને પોકારું, ત્યારે તમે મને વહેલો ઉત્તર આપો.
3 For my days are consumed like smoke, and my bones are burned as a hearth.
૩કારણ કે મારા દિવસો તો ધુમાડાની જેમ વીતી જાય છે અને મારાં હાડકાં અગ્નિની જેમ બળી જાય છે.
4 My heart is smitten like grass, and withered; for I forget to eat my bread.
૪મારું હૃદય તો ઘાસના જેવું કપાયેલું અને ચીમળાયેલું છે. એટલે સુધી કે રોટલી ખાવાનું પણ હું ભૂલી જાઉં છું.
5 By reason of the voice of my sighing my bones cleave to my flesh.
૫મારા નિસાસાને કારણે હું ઘણો સુકાઈ ગયો છું.
6 I am like a pelican of the wilderness; I am become as an owl of the waste places.
૬હું રાનની જળકૂકડી જેવો થઈ ગયો છું; અરણ્યના ઘુવડ જેવો થઈ ગયો છું.
7 I watch, and am become like a sparrow that is alone upon the housetop.
૭હું જાગૃત રહું છું, હું અગાસી પર એકલી પડેલી ચકલી જેવો થઈ ગયો છો.
8 Mine enemies taunt me all the day; they that are mad against me do curse by me.
૮મારા શત્રુ આખો દિવસ મને મહેણાં મારે છે; જેઓ મારી મજાક ઉડાવે છે તેઓ બીજાને શાપ આપવા મારા નામનો ઉપયોગ કરે છે.
9 For I have eaten ashes like bread, and mingled my drink with weeping,
૯રોટલીને બદલે હું રાખ ખાઉં છું મારાં આંસુ વહીને મારા પ્યાલામાં પડે છે.
10 Because of Thine indignation and Thy wrath; for Thou hast taken me up, and cast me away.
૧૦તે તમારા રોષને કારણે છે, કેમ કે તમે મને ઊંચો કરીને નીચે ફેંકી દીધો છે.
11 My days are like a lengthening shadow; and I am withered like grass.
૧૧મારા દિવસો નમતી છાયા જેવા છે અને હું ઘાસની જેમ કરમાઈ ગયો છું.
12 But Thou, O LORD, sittest enthroned for ever; and Thy name is unto all generations.
૧૨પણ, હે યહોવાહ, તમે સર્વકાળ ટકનાર છો અને તમારું સ્મરણ પેઢી દરપેઢી રહેશે.
13 Thou wilt arise, and have compassion upon Zion; for it is time to be gracious unto her, for the appointed time is come.
૧૩તમે ઊભા થઈને સિયોન પર દયા કરશો. તેના પર દયા કરવાનો સમય, એટલે ઠરાવેલો સમય, આવ્યો છે.
14 For Thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and love her dust.
૧૪કારણ કે તમારા સેવકોને તેના પથ્થરો વહાલા છે અને તેની ધૂળ પર તેઓને દયા આવે છે.
15 So the nations will fear the name of the LORD, and all the kings of the earth Thy glory;
૧૫હે યહોવાહ, વિદેશીઓ તમારા નામનો આદર કરશે અને પૃથ્વીના સર્વ રાજાઓ તમારા ગૌરવનો આદર કરશે.
16 When the LORD hath built up Zion, when He hath appeared in His glory;
૧૬યહોવાહે સિયોનને ફરીથી બાંધ્યું છે અને તે પોતાના ગૌરવથી પ્રગટ થયા છે.
17 When He hath regarded the prayer of the destitute, and hath not despised their prayer.
૧૭તે જ સમયે, તેમણે લાચારની પ્રાર્થના પર લક્ષ લગાડ્યું છે; તે તેઓની પ્રાર્થના નકારશે નહિ.
18 This shall be written for the generation to come; and a people which shall be created shall praise the LORD.
૧૮આ વાતો તો આવનાર પેઢી માટે લખવામાં આવી છે અને જે લોકો હજી સુધી જન્મ્યા નથી, તેઓ પણ યહોવાહની સ્તુતિ કરશે.
19 For He hath looked down from the height of His sanctuary; from heaven did the LORD behold the earth;
૧૯કેમ કે તેમણે પોતાના ઉચ્ચ પવિત્રસ્થાનમાંથી જોયું છે; આકાશમાંથી યહોવાહે પૃથ્વીને નિહાળી,
20 To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death;
૨૦જેથી તે બંદીવાનોના નિસાસા સાંભળી શકે, જેઓ મરણના સપાટામાં સપડાયેલા છે તેઓને તે છોડાવે.
21 That men may tell of the name of the LORD in Zion, and His praise in Jerusalem;
૨૧પછી માણસો સિયોનમાં યહોવાહનું નામ અને યરુશાલેમમાં તેમની સ્તુતિ જાહેર કરે.
22 When the peoples are gathered together, and the kingdoms, to serve the LORD.
૨૨જ્યારે લોકો અને રાજ્યો ભેગા થાય છે, ત્યારે તેઓ યહોવાહની સેવા કરે છે.
23 He weakened my strength in the way; He shortened my days.
૨૩તેમણે માર્ગમાં મારી શક્તિ ઘટાડી છે. તેમણે મારા દિવસો ટૂંકા કર્યા છે.
24 I say: 'O my God, take me not away in the midst of my days, Thou whose years endure throughout all generations.
૨૪મેં કહ્યું, “હે મારા ઈશ્વર, મારા દિવસો પૂરા થયા અગાઉ તમે મને ન લઈ જાઓ; તમે અહીંયાં પેઢી દરપેઢી સુધી છો.
25 Of old Thou didst lay the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the work of Thy hands.
૨૫પૂર્વે તમે પૃથ્વીનો પાયો નાખ્યો; આકાશો તમારા હાથનું કામ છે.
26 They shall perish, but Thou shalt endure; yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt Thou change them, and they shall pass away;
૨૬તેઓ નાશ પામશે, પણ તમે ટકી રહેશો; તેઓ સર્વ વસ્ત્રની જેમ જીર્ણ થઈ જશે; વસ્ત્રની જેમ તમે તેઓને બદલશો અને તેઓ બદલાઈ જશે.
27 But Thou art the selfsame, and Thy years shall have no end.
૨૭પણ તમે તો એવા અને એવા જ રહેશો તમારાં વર્ષોનો અંત આવશે નહિ.
28 The children of Thy servants shall dwell securely, and their seed shall be established before Thee.'
૨૮તમારા સેવકોનાં બાળકો અહીં વસશે અને તેઓનાં વંશજો તમારી હજૂરમાં રહેશે.”
