Proverbs 7
1 My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee.
১হে মোৰ পুত্র, মোৰ বাক্য পালন কৰা, আৰু মোৰ আজ্ঞাবোৰ তোমাৰ হৃদয়ত সংগ্রহ কৰা।
2 Keep my commandments and live, and my teaching as the apple of thine eye.
২মোৰ আজ্ঞা পালন কৰি জীৱন ধাৰণ কৰা; তোমাৰ চকুৰ মণিৰ দৰে মোৰ নিৰ্দেশ মানি চলা।
3 Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thy heart.
৩সেইবোৰ তোমাৰ আঙুলিত বান্ধা, আৰু তোমাৰ হৃদয় ফলিত লিখি ৰাখা।
4 Say unto wisdom: 'Thou art my sister', and call understanding thy kinswoman;
৪প্রজ্ঞাক কোৱা, “তুমি মোৰ ভনী,” আৰু সুবিবেচনাক কোৱা তুমি মোৰ আত্মীয়।
5 That they may keep thee from the strange woman, from the alien woman that maketh smooth her words.
৫প্রলোভনকাৰী, আৰু মুখৰ বাক্যেৰে ব্যভিচাৰ কৰা মহিলাৰ পৰা নিজকে ৰক্ষা কৰা।
6 For at the window of my house I looked forth through my lattice;
৬মোৰ ঘৰৰ খিড়িকিৰ ওচৰত থিয় হৈ, মই জালিৰে বাহিৰলৈ চাইছিলোঁ।
7 And I beheld among the thoughtless ones, I discerned among the youths, a young man void of understanding,
৭আৰু মই বহুতো শিক্ষা নোপোৱা যুৱকসকলক দেখিছিলোঁ, যুৱক সকলৰ মাজত মই এজন জ্ঞানশূন্য যুৱকক দেখিছিলোঁ।
8 Passing through the street near her corner, and he went the way to her house;
৮সেই যুৱকজনে তাইৰ ঘৰৰ ওচৰৰ বাটেৰে গৈ আছিল, আৰু তেওঁৰ ঘৰলৈ গ’ল-
9 In the twilight, in the evening of the day, in the blackness of night and the darkness.
৯সেই দিনা সন্ধিয়া চকামকা সময় আছিল, ৰাতি আৰু আন্ধাৰৰ সেই সময়ত।
10 And, behold, there met him a woman with the attire of a harlot, and wily of heart.
১০আৰু সেই ঠাইত এগৰাকী মহিলাই তেওঁক ল’গ পালে, বেশ্যাৰ দৰে তাইৰ পোচাক, আৰু তাই জানিছিল তাই তাত কিয় আছিল।
11 She is riotous and rebellious, her feet abide not in her house;
১১তাই কোলাহলপূৰ্ণ আৰু উচ্ছৃঙ্খল, তাইৰ ভৰি ঘৰত নাথাকে।
12 Now she is in the streets, now in the broad places, and lieth in wait at every corner.
১২তাই কেতিয়াবা বাটত, কেতিয়াবা বজাৰত উপস্থিত হয়, তাই প্রতিটো চকতে বাট চাই থাকে।
13 So she caught him, and kissed him, and with an impudent face she said unto him:
১৩সেয়ে তাই তেওঁক সাৱটি ধৰি চুমা খালে; তাই দুঃসাহসেৰে তেওঁক ক’লে,
14 'Sacrifices of peace-offerings were due from me; this day have I paid my vows.
১৪“মই আজি মোৰ মঙ্গলাৰ্থক বলিদান কৰিলোঁ, মই মোৰ সঙ্কল্প সিদ্ধ কৰিলোঁ;
15 Therefore came I forth to meet thee, to seek thy face, and I have found thee.
১৫সেয়ে মই আপোনাক লগ পাবলৈ বাহিৰলৈ আহিলোঁ, মই আগ্ৰহেৰে আপোনাক বিচাৰিছিলোঁ, আৰু মই আপোনাক বিচাৰি পালোঁ।
16 I have decked my couch with coverlets, with striped cloths of the yarn of Egypt.
১৬মই মোৰ বিচনা মিচৰৰ পৰা অনা ৰঙীণ কাপোৰেৰে ঢাকিলোঁ।
17 I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon.
১৭মই গন্ধৰস, অগৰু, আৰু ডালচেনিৰে মোৰ বিচনা সুগন্ধি কৰিলোঁ।
18 Come, let us take our fill of love until the morning; let us solace ourselves with loves.
১৮আহাঁ, আমি ৰাতিপুৱালৈকে প্ৰেমত লীন হৈ থাকোঁ। আহাঁ আমি বেলেগ ধৰণে প্রেম উপভোগ কৰোঁ।
19 For my husband is not at home, he is gone a long journey;
১৯মোৰ স্বামী ঘৰত নাই, তেওঁ দূৰ যাত্রাত গৈছে।
20 He hath taken the bag of money with him; he will come home at the full moon.'
২০তেওঁ তেওঁৰ লগত ধনৰ মোনা লৈ গৈছে, তেওঁ পুৰ্ণিমাৰ দিনহে ঘূৰি আহিব।”
21 With her much fair speech she causeth him to yield, with the blandishment of her lips she enticeth him away.
২১তাই তাইৰ প্রলোভনযুক্ত কথাৰে তেওঁক মান্তি কৰালে; আৰু তাইৰ মধুৰ কথাৰে বাধ্য কৰালে।
22 He goeth after her straightway, as an ox that goeth to the slaughter, or as one in fetters to the correction of the fool;
২২তেওঁ কাটিবলৈ নিয়া গৰুৰ দৰে বা ফান্দত ধৰা পৰা হৰিণৰ দৰে তাইৰ পাছে পাছে গ’ল।
23 Till an arrow strike through his liver; as a bird hasteneth to the snare — and knoweth not that it is at the cost of his life.
২৩যেতিয়ালৈকে কলিজাৰ মাজেৰে কাঁড়ে নিবিন্ধে বা চৰাই জালৰ ফান্দত পৰিবলৈ যিদৰে শীঘ্ৰে উড়ি যোৱাৰ দৰে, ইয়াৰ মূল্য যে তেওঁৰ জীৱন হ’ব পাৰে, সেই কথা তেওঁ নজনাকৈ তাইৰ পাছে পাছে গৈ থাকিল।
24 Now therefore, O ye children, hearken unto me, and attend to the words of my mouth.
২৪আৰু এতিয়া হে মোৰ পুত্র, মোৰ কথা শুনা, মই কোৱা কথালৈ মনোযোগ দিয়া।
25 Let not thy heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths.
২৫তোমাৰ হৃদয় তাইৰ ফাললৈ ঢাল খাব নিদিবা, আৰু তুমি তাইৰ পথত গৈ বিপথগামী নহবা।
26 For she hath cast down many wounded; yea, a mighty host are all her slain.
২৬তাই অনেকক আনি নষ্ট কৰিছে, তেওঁলোকক গণনা কৰিব নোৱাৰি।
