< Proverbs 5 >
1 My son, attend unto my wisdom; incline thine ear to my understanding;
Wiilkaygiiyow, xigmaddayda dhegayso, Oo waxgarashadaydana dhegta u dhig;
2 That thou mayest preserve discretion, and that thy lips may keep knowledge.
Si aad digtoonaan u dhawrtid, Oo ay bushimahaaguna aqoon u xejiyaan.
3 For the lips of a strange woman drop honey, and her mouth is smoother than oil;
Waayo, naagta qalaad bushimaheedu waxay daadiyaan malab, Oo afkeeduna saliid buu ka sii macaan yahay,
4 But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword.
Laakiinse aakhirkeedu wuxuu u qadhaadh yahay sida geed dacareed oo kale, Wuuna af badan yahay sida seef laba af leh.
5 Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on the nether-world; (Sheol )
Cagaheedu dhimashay ku dhaadhacaan, Oo tallaabooyinkeeduna waxay u jeedaan xagga She'ool, (Sheol )
6 Lest she should walk the even path of life, her ways wander, but she knoweth it not.
Waddada nolosha iyadu aad uguma fiirsato. Jidadkeedu waa leexleexdaan, oo garan kari maysid,
7 Now therefore, O ye children, hearken unto me, and depart not from the words of my mouth.
Haddaba sidaas daraaddeed, wiilashoy, bal i maqla, Oo erayada afkayga ha ka tegina.
8 Remove thy way far from her, and come not nigh the door of her house;
Jidkaaga ka fogee iyada, Oo albaabka gurigeeda ha u dhowaan,
9 Lest thou give thy vigour unto others, and thy years unto the cruel;
Si aanad sharaftaada kuwa kale u siin, Oo aanad sannadahaaga kuwa caloosha adag u siin,
10 Lest strangers be filled with thy strength, and thy labours be in the house of an alien;
Si aan shisheeyayaal maalkaaga uga dhergin; Oo aanay wixii aad u hawshootay guri ajnabi u gelin,
11 And thou moan, when thine end cometh, when thy flesh and thy body are consumed,
Si aanad ugu dambaysta u barooran, Markay hilibkaaga iyo jidhkaaguba baabba'aan,
12 And say: 'How have I hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof;
Oo aad tidhaahdaan, Sidee baan edbin u nebcaaday, Oo qalbigayguna canaantii u quudhsaday!
13 Neither have I hearkened to the voice of my teachers, nor inclined mine ear to them that instructed me!
Codkii macallimiintaydii ma aan addeecin, Oo dhegtana uma aan dhigin kuwii wax i baray!
14 I was well nigh in all evil in the midst of the congregation and assembly.'
Anigu waxaan u dhowaa inaan shar kasta falo Anigoo ku dhex jira shirka iyo ururka.
15 Drink waters out of thine own cistern, and running waters out of thine own well.
Berkeddaada biyo ka cab, Oo ceelkaagana biyo qulqulaya ka cab.
16 Let thy springs be dispersed abroad, and courses of water in the streets.
Ma hagaag baa in ilahaagu dibadda u daataan. Oo ay durdurraduna dariiqyada maraan?
17 Let them be only thine own, and not strangers' with thee.
Iyagu ha ahaadeen kuwaaga oo keliya, Oo yaanay u ahaan shisheeyayaal adiga kula jira.
18 Let thy fountain be blessed; and have joy of the wife of thy youth.
Ishaadu ha barakaysnaato, Oo naagtaadii aad yaraanta ku guursatay ku faraxsanow.
19 A lovely hind and a graceful doe, let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; with her love be thou ravished always.
Iyadu ha kuu ahaato sida deerada jacaylka badan iyo sida cawsha quruxsan, Goor walbana naasaheedu ha ku deeqeen Oo had iyo goorna jacaylkeeda ku faraxsanow.
20 Why then wilt thou, my son, be ravished with a strange woman, and embrace the bosom of an alien?
Haddaba wiilkaygiiyow, bal maxaad naag qalaad ugu faraxsanaanaysaa, Maxaadse naag shisheeye ah naasaheeda u qabsanaysaa?
21 For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and He maketh even all his paths.
Waayo, jidadka dadku waxay hor yaalliin indhaha Rabbiga Oo isagaa fiiriya waddooyinkiisa oo dhan.
22 His own iniquities shall ensnare the wicked, and he shall be holden with the cords of his sin.
Kan sharka leh waxaa qabsan doonta xumaantiisa, Oo waxaa isaga lagu soo xidhi doonaa xadhkaha dembigiisa.
23 He shall die for lack of instruction; and in the greatness of his folly he shall reel.
Wuxuu u dhiman doonaa edbinla'aanta, Oo isagu wuxuu ku dhex amban doonaa badnaanta nacasnimadiisa.
