Proverbs 10

1 The proverbs of Solomon. A wise son maketh a glad father; but a foolish son is the grief of his mother.

پەندەکانی سلێمان: کوڕی دانا باوکی شاد دەکات، بەڵام کوڕی گێل دڵتەنگییە بۆ دایکی.

2 Treasures of wickedness profit nothing; but righteousness delivereth from death.

بێ سوودە گەنجینەی داهاتی ناڕەوایی، بەڵام ڕاستودروستی فریادەکەوێت لە مردن.

3 The LORD will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish; but He thrusteth away the desire of the wicked.

یەزدان ناهێڵێت ڕاستودروستان تووشی برسیێتی بن، بەڵام ئارەزووی بەدکاران بەتاڵ دەکاتەوە.

4 He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand; but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.

دەستی تەمبەڵ دەبێتە هۆی هەژاری، بەڵام دەستی کۆڵنەدەر دەوڵەمەندی بەدواوەیە.

5 A wise son gathereth in summer; but a son that doeth shamefully sleepeth in harvest.

ئەوەی لە هاوین کۆدەکاتەوە، کوڕێکی وریایە، بەڵام ئەو کوڕەی لە کاتی دروێنەدا دەخەوێت، مایەی شەرمەزارییە.

6 Blessings are upon the head of the righteous; but the mouth of the wicked concealeth violence.

بەرەکەت بۆ سەر ڕاستودروستانە، بەڵام دەمی بەدکاران توندڕەوی دەشارێتەوە.

7 The memory of the righteous shall be for a blessing; but the name of the wicked shall rot.

یادکردنەوەی ڕاستودروستان بۆ بەرەکەتە، بەڵام ناوی بەدکاران دەڕزێت.

8 The wise in heart will receive commandments; but a prating fool shall fall.

ئەوەی دڵی دانا بێت فەرمان وەردەگرێت، بەڵام گێلی زۆربڵێ وێران دەبێت.

9 He that walketh uprightly walketh securely; but he that perverteth his ways shall be found out.

ئەوەی ڕێگای ڕاست بگرێت ئاسوودە دەبێت، بەڵام ئەوەی ڕێگای خوار بگرێت لێی ئاشکرا دەبێت.

10 He that winketh with the eye causeth sorrow; and a prating fool shall fall.

چاوقوچان دەبێتە هۆی ئازار، گێلی زۆربڵێش دەکەوێت.

11 The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life; but the mouth of the wicked concealeth violence.

دەمی کەسی ڕاستودروست سەرچاوەی ژیانە، بەڵام دەمی بەدکاران توندڕەوی دەشارێتەوە.

12 Hatred stirreth up strifes; but love covereth all transgressions.

ڕق ناکۆکی دەوروژێنێت، بەڵام خۆشەویستی هەموو یاخیبوونێک دادەپۆشێت.

13 In the lips of him that hath discernment wisdom is found; but a rod is for the back of him that is void of understanding.

لە لێوەکانی تێگەیشتوو دانایی هەیە، کوتەکیش بۆ پشتی تێنەگەیشتووانە.

14 Wise men lay up knowledge; but the mouth of the foolish is an imminent ruin.

داناکان زانیاری کۆدەکەنەوە، بەڵام دەمی گێل فەوتانێکی نزیکە.

15 The rich man's wealth is his strong city; the ruin of the poor is their poverty.

سامانی دەوڵەمەند شاری قەڵابەندیەتی، بەڵام فەوتانی هەژاران نەدارییانە.

16 The wages of the righteous is life; the increase of the wicked is sin.

کرێی کەسی ڕاستودروست ژیانە، بەڵام داهاتی بەدکار گوناهە.

17 He is in the way of life that heedeth instruction; but he that forsaketh reproof erreth.

ئەوەی چاوی لە تەمبێکردنە لەسەر ڕێچکەی ژیانە، بەڵام ئەوەی واز لە سەرزەنشت بهێنێت گومڕا دەبێت.

18 He that hideth hatred is of lying lips; and he that uttereth a slander is a fool.

ئەوەی ڕق بشارێتەوە لێوەکانی درۆ دەکەن، ئەوەی بوختان بڵاو بکاتەوە گێلە.

19 In the multitude of words there wanteth not transgression; but he that refraineth his lips is wise.

قسەی زۆر بێ گوناه نابێت، بەڵام ئەوەی زمانی خۆی بگرێت وریایە.

20 The tongue of the righteous is as choice silver; the heart of the wicked is little worth.

زمانی کەسی ڕاستودروست زیوی پوختەکراوە، بەڵام دڵی بەدکاران کەم بەهایە.

21 The lips of the righteous feed many; but the foolish die for want of understanding.

لێوەکانی کەسی ڕاستودروست ڕابەرایەتی زۆر کەس دەکەن، بەڵام گێلەکان بە تێنەگەیشتوویی دەمرن.

22 The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and toil addeth nothing thereto.

بەرەکەتی یەزدان دەوڵەمەندی بەدواوەیە و هیچ زەحمەتێکیش ناخاتە پاڵی.

23 It is as sport to a fool to do wickedness, and so is wisdom to a man of discernment.

وەک پێکەنینە بۆ گێل بەدکاری کردن، بەڵام دانایی بۆ کەسی تێگەیشتوو.

24 The fear of the wicked, it shall come upon him; and the desire of the righteous shall be granted.

ئەوەی بەدکار لێی دەترسێت، بەسەری دێت، ئەوەی ڕاستودروستانیش ئارەزووی دەکەن، پێیان دەبەخشرێت.

25 When the whirlwind passeth, the wicked is no more; but the righteous is an everlasting foundation.

وەک تێپەڕبوونی گەردەلوول خراپەکاریش ئاوا نامێنێت، بەڵام کەسی ڕاستودروست هەتاهەتایە جێگیر دەبێت.

26 As vinegar to the teeth, and as smoke to the eyes, so is the sluggard to them that send him.

وەک سرکە بۆ ددان و دووکەڵ بۆ چاو، کەسی تەمبەڵیش بۆ ئەوانەی دەینێرن ئاوایە.

27 The fear of the LORD prolongeth days; but the years of the wicked shall be shortened.

لەخواترسی ڕۆژانی ژیانت زیاد دەکات، بەڵام ساڵانی بەدکاران کورت دەبێت.

28 The hope of the righteous is gladness; but the expectation of the wicked shall perish.

هیوای ڕاستودروستان خۆشییە، بەڵام ئاواتی بەدکاران لەناودەچێت.

29 The way of the LORD is a stronghold to the upright, but ruin to the workers of iniquity.

ڕێگای یەزدان پەناگایە بۆ ئەوانەی ڕێگای ڕاست بگرن، بەڵام لەناوچوونە بۆ ئەوانەی خراپە دەکەن.

30 The righteous shall never be moved; but the wicked shall not inhabit the land.

کەسی ڕاستودروست هەرگیز نالەقێت، بەڵام خراپەکاران لە خاکەکە نیشتەجێ نابن.

31 The mouth of the righteous buddeth with wisdom; but the froward tongue shall be cut off.

دەمی کەسی ڕاستودروست دانایی لێ دەڕوێت، بەڵام زمانی درۆودەلەسە دەبڕدرێتەوە.

32 The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable; but the mouth of the wicked is all frowardness.

لێوەکانی کەسی ڕاستودروست پەسەندیی دەزانن، بەڵام دەمی بەدکاران درۆودەلەسە.
