Nehemiah 5
1 Then there arose a great cry of the people and of their wives against their brethren the Jews.
Дин партя оаменилор дин попор ши дин партя невестелор лор с-ау ридикат марь плынӂерь ымпотрива фрацилор лор иудей.
2 For there were that said: 'We, our sons and our daughters, are many; let us get for them corn, that we may eat and live.'
Уний зичяу: „Ной, фиий ноштри ши фетеле ноастре сунтем мулць; сэ ни се дя грыу ка сэ мынкэм ши сэ трэим.”
3 Some also there were that said: 'We are mortgaging our fields, and our vineyards, and our houses; let us get corn, because of the dearth.'
Алций зичяу: „Пунем зэлог огоареле, вииле ши каселе ноастре, ка сэ авем грыу ын тимпул фоаметей.”
4 There were also that said: 'We have borrowed money for the king's tribute upon our fields and our vineyards.
Алций зичяу: „Ам ымпрумутат арӂинт пунынд зэлог огоареле ши вииле ноастре пентру бирул ымпэратулуй.
5 Yet now our flesh is as the flesh of our brethren, our children as their children; and, lo, we bring into bondage our sons and our daughters to be servants, and some of our daughters are brought into bondage already; neither is it in our power to help it; for other men have our fields and our vineyards.'
Ши тотушь карня ноастрэ есте ка ши карня фрацилор ноштри, копиий ноштри сунт ка ши копиий лор; ши ятэ, супунем ла робие пе фиий ноштри ши пе фетеле ноастре ши мулте дин фетеле ноастре ау ши фост супусе ла робие; сунтем фэрэ путере, кэч огоареле ши вииле ноастре сунт але алтора.”
6 And I was very angry when I heard their cry and these words.
М-ам супэрат фоарте таре кынд ле-ам аузит плынӂериле ши кувинтеле ачестя.
7 Then I consulted with myself, and contended with the nobles and the rulers, and said unto them: 'Ye lend upon pledge, every one to his brother.' And I held a great assembly against them.
Ам хотэрыт сэ мустру пе чей марь ши пе дрегэторь ши ле-ам зис: „Че, вой ымпрумутаць ку камэтэ фрацилор воштри?” Ши ам стрынс ын журул меу о маре мулциме
8 And I said unto them: 'We after our ability have redeemed our brethren the Jews, that sold themselves unto the heathen; and would ye nevertheless sell your brethren, and should they sell themselves unto us?' Then held they their peace, and found never a word.
ши ле-ам зис: „Ной ам рэскумпэрат, дупэ путеря ноастрэ, пе фраций ноштри иудей вындуць нямурилор, ши вой сэ виндець пе фраций воштри? Ши ынкэ ноуэ сэ не фие вындуць?” Ей ау тэкут, неавынд че сэ рэспундэ.
9 Also I said: 'The thing that ye do is not good; ought ye not to walk in the fear of our God, because of the reproach of the heathen our enemies?
Апой ам зис: „Че фачець вой ну есте бине. Н-ар требуи сэ умблаць ын фрика Думнезеулуй ностру, ка сэ ну фиць де окара нямурилор врэжмаше ноуэ?
10 And I likewise, my brethren and my servants, have lent them money and corn. I pray you, let us leave off this exaction.
Ши еу, ши фраций мей, ши служиторий мей ле-ам ымпрумутат арӂинт ши грыу. Сэ ле лэсэм дар датория ачаста!
11 Restore, I pray you, to them, even this day, their fields, their vineyards, their oliveyards, and their houses, also the hundred pieces of silver, and the corn, the wine, and the oil, that ye exact of them.'
Даци-ле ынапой астэзь огоареле, вииле, мэслиний ши каселе ши а сута парте дин арӂинтул, дин грыул, дин мустул ши дин унтделемнул пе каре л-аць черут де ла ей ка добындэ.”
12 Then said they: 'We will restore them, and will require nothing of them; so will we do, even as thou sayest.' Then I called the priests, and took an oath of them, that they should do according to this promise.
Ей ау рэспунс: „Ле вом да ынапой ши ну ле вом чере нимик, вом фаче кум ай зис.” Атунч ам кемат пе преоць, ынаинтя кэрора й-ам пус сэ журе кэ ышь вор цине кувынтул.
13 Also I shook out my lap, and said: 'So God shake out every man from his house, and from his labour, that performeth not this promise; even thus be he shaken out, and emptied.' And all the congregation said: 'Amen', and praised the LORD. And the people did according to this promise.
Ши мь-ам скутурат мантауа зикынд: „Аша сэ скутуре Думнезеу афарэ дин Каса Луй ши де авериле луй пе орьче ом каре ну-шь ва цине кувынтул ши аша сэ фие скутурат омул ачела ши лэсат ку мыниле гоале!” Тоатэ адунаря а зис: „Амин.” Ши ау лэудат пе Домнул. Ши попорул с-а цинут де кувынт.
14 Moreover from the time that I was appointed to be their governor in the land of Judah, from the twentieth year even unto the two and thirtieth year of Artaxerxes the king, that is, twelve years, I and my brethren have not eaten the bread of the governor.
Дин зиуа кынд м-а пус ымпэратул дрегэтор песте ей ын цара луй Иуда, де ла ал доуэзечеля ан пынэ ла ал трейзечь ши дойля ан ал ымпэратулуй Артаксерксе, тимп де дойспрезече ань, нич еу, нич фраций мей н-ам трэит дин венитуриле кувените дрегэторулуй.
15 But the former governors that were before me laid burdens upon the people, and took of them for bread and wine above forty shekels of silver; yea, even their servants lorded over the people; but so did not I, because of the fear of God.
Ынаинте де мине, чей динтый дрегэторь ымповэрау попорул ши луау де ла ел пыне ши вин, афарэ де чей патрузечь де сикли де арӂинт; кяр ши служиторий лор апэсау попорул. Еу н-ам фэкут аша дин фрикэ де Думнезеу.
16 Yea, also I set hand to the work of this wall, neither bought we any land; and all my servants were gathered thither unto the work.
Ба май мулт, ам лукрат ла дреӂеря зидулуй ачестуя, н-ам кумпэрат ничун огор ши тоць служиторий мей ерау ла лукру.
17 Moreover there were at my table of the Jews and the rulers a hundred and fifty men, beside those that came unto us from among the nations that were round about us.
Авям ла масэ о сутэ чинчзечь де оамень, иудей ши дрегэторь, афарэ де чей че веняу ла ной дин нямуриле де примпрежур.
18 Now that which was prepared for one day was one ox and six choice sheep, also fowls were prepared for me; and once in ten days store of all sorts of wine; yet for all this I demanded not the bread of the governor, because the service was heavy upon this people.
Ми се прегэтяу ын фиекаре зи ун боу, шасе бербечь алешь ши пэсэрь ши, ла фиекаре зече зиле, се прегэтя дин белшуг тот винул каре ера де требуинцэ. Ку тоате ачестя, н-ам черут венитуриле кувените дрегэторулуй, пентру кэ лукрэриле апэсау греу асупра попорулуй ачестуя.
19 Remember unto me, O my God, for good, all that I have done for this people.
Аду-Ць аминте де мине спре бине, Думнезеуле, пентру тот че ам фэкут пентру попорул ачеста!
