Micah 7
1 Woe is me! for I am as the last of the summer fruits, as the grape gleanings of the vintage; there is no cluster to eat; nor first-ripe fig which my soul desireth.
¡La miseria es mía! En efecto, soy como quien recoge los frutos del verano, como espigas de la viña. No hay racimos de uvas para comer. Mi alma desea comer el higo temprano.
2 The godly man is perished out of the earth, and the upright among men is no more; they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net.
El hombre piadoso ha perecido de la tierra, y no hay nadie recto entre los hombres. Todos ellos están al acecho de la sangre; cada hombre caza a su hermano con una red.
3 Their hands are upon that which is evil to do it diligently; the prince asketh, and the judge is ready for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth the evil desire of his soul; thus they weave it together.
Sus manos están en lo que es malo para hacerlo diligentemente. El gobernante y el juez piden un soborno. El hombre poderoso dicta el mal deseo de su alma. Así conspiran juntos.
4 The best of them is as a brier; the most upright is worse than a thorn hedge; the day of thy watchmen, even thy visitation, is come; now shall be their perplexity.
El mejor de ellos es como una zarza. El más erguido es peor que un seto de espinas. El día de sus vigilantes, incluso tu visita, ha llegado; ahora es el momento de su confusión.
5 Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a familiar friend; keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom.
No confíes en un vecino. No confíes en un amigo. Con la mujer que yace en tu abrazo, ¡ten cuidado con las palabras de tu boca!
6 For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; a man's enemies are the men of his own house.
Porque el hijo deshonra al padre, la hija se levanta contra su madre, la nuera contra su suegra; los enemigos de un hombre son los hombres de su propia casa.
7 'But as for me, I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me.
Pero en cuanto a mí, miraré a Yahvé. Esperaré al Dios de mi salvación. Mi Dios me escuchará.
8 Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy; though I am fallen, I shall arise; though I sit in darkness, the LORD is a light unto me.
No te regocijes contra mí, mi enemigo. Cuando caiga, me levantaré. Cuando me sienta en las tinieblas, Yahvé será una luz para mí.
9 I will bear the indignation of the LORD, because I have sinned against Him; until He plead my cause, and execute judgment for me; He will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold His righteousness.
Yo soportaré la indignación de Yahvé, porque he pecado contra él, hasta que él defienda mi caso y ejecute el juicio por mí. Él me sacará a la luz. Veré su justicia.
10 Then mine enemy shall see it, and shame shall cover her; who said unto me: Where is the LORD thy God? Mine eyes shall gaze upon her; now shall she be trodden down as the mire of the streets.'
Entonces mi enemigo lo verá, y la vergüenza cubrirá a la que me dijo “¿Dónde está Yahvé, tu Dios?” Mis ojos la verán. Ahora será pisoteada como el fango de las calles.
11 'The day for building thy walls, even that day, shall be far removed.'
¡Un día para construir sus muros! En ese día, él ampliará su límite.
12 There shall be a day when they shall come unto thee, from Assyria even to the cities of Egypt, and from Egypt even to the River, and from sea to sea, and from mountain to mountain.
En ese día vendrán a ti desde Asiria y las ciudades de Egipto, y desde Egipto hasta el río, y de mar a mar, y de montaña a montaña.
13 And the land shall be desolate for them that dwell therein, because of the fruit of their doings.
Pero la tierra quedará desolada por culpa de los que la habitan, por el fruto de sus actos.
14 Tend Thy people with Thy staff, the flock of Thy heritage, that dwell solitarily, as a forest in the midst of the fruitful field; let them feed in Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old.
Pastorea a tu pueblo con tu bastón, el rebaño de su herencia, que habitan solos en un bosque. Que se alimenten en medio de los pastos fértiles, en Basán y Galaad, como en los días de antaño.
15 'As in the days of thy coming forth out of the land of Egypt will I show unto him marvellous things.'
“Como en los días de tu salida de la tierra de Egipto, Les mostraré cosas maravillosas”.
16 The nations shall see and be put to shame for all their might; they shall lay their hand upon their mouth, their ears shall be deaf.
Las naciones verán y se avergonzarán de todo su poderío. Se pondrán la mano en la boca. Sus oídos serán sordos.
17 They shall lick the dust like a serpent; like crawling things of the earth they shall come trembling out of their close places; they shall come with fear unto the LORD our God, and shall be afraid because of Thee.
Lamerán el polvo como una serpiente. Como las cosas que se arrastran por la tierra, saldrán temblando de sus guaridas. Vendrán con temor a Yahvé, nuestro Dios, y tendrán miedo por ti.
18 Who is a God like unto Thee, that pardoneth the iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He retaineth not His anger for ever, because He delighteth in mercy.
¿Quién es un Dios como tú, que perdona la iniquidad? y pasa por encima de la desobediencia del resto de su herencia? No retiene su ira para siempre, porque se deleita en la bondad amorosa.
19 He will again have compassion upon us; He will subdue our iniquities; and Thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.
Él volverá a tener compasión de nosotros. El pisoteará nuestras iniquidades. Arrojarás todos sus pecados a las profundidades del mar.
20 Thou wilt show faithfulness to Jacob, mercy to Abraham, as Thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old.
Le darás la verdad a Jacob, y misericordia a Abraham, como has jurado a nuestros padres desde los días de antaño.
