Micah 1
1 THE WORD of the LORD that came to Micah the Morashtite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.
Palavra do Senhor, que veio a Miqueas, morasthita, nos dias de Jothão, Achaz e Ezequias, reis de Judá, a qual ele viu sobre Samaria e Jerusalém.
2 Hear, ye peoples, all of you; Hearken, O earth, and all that therein is; and let the Lord GOD be witness against you, the Lord from His holy temple.
Ouvi, todos os povos, atenta tu, terra, e a plenitude dela, e seja o Senhor Jehovah testemunha contra vós, o Senhor, desde o templo da sua santidade.
3 For, behold, the LORD cometh forth out of His place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.
Porque eis que o Senhor sai do seu lugar, e descerá, e pizará as alturas da terra.
4 And the mountains shall be molten under Him, and the valleys shall be cleft, as wax before the fire, as waters that are poured down a steep place.
E os montes debaixo dele se derreterão, e os vales se fenderão, como a cera diante do fogo, como as águas que se precipitam num abismo.
5 For the transgression of Jacob is all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? is it not Samaria? And what are the high places of Judah? are they not Jerusalem?
Tudo isto por causa da prevaricação de Jacob, e dos pecados da casa de Israel: quem é o autor da rebelião de Jacob? não é Samaria? e quem o das alturas de Judá? não é Jerusalém?
6 Therefore I will make Samaria a heap in the field, a place for the planting of vineyards; and I will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I will uncover the foundations thereof.
Por isso farei de Samaria um montão de pedras do campo, uma terra de plantar vinhas, e farei rebolar as suas pedras no vale, e descobrirei os seus fundamentos.
7 And all her graven images shall be beaten to pieces, and all her hires shall be burned with fire, and all her idols will I lay desolate; for of the hire of a harlot hath she gathered them, and unto the hire of a harlot shall they return.
E todas as suas imagens de escultura serão esmiuçadas, e todos os seus salários serão queimados pelo fogo, e de todos os seus ídolos eu farei uma assolação, porque da paga de prostitutas os ajuntou, e para a paga de prostitutas voltarão.
8 For this will I wail and howl, I will go stripped and naked; I will make a wailing like the jackals, and a mourning like the ostriches.
Por isso lamentarei, e uivarei, andarei despojado e nú: farei lamentação como de dragões, e pranto como de avestruzes.
9 For her wound is incurable; for it is come even unto Judah; it reacheth unto the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem.
Porque a sua chaga é incurável, porque chegou até Judá: estendeu-se até à porta do meu povo, até Jerusalém.
10 Tell it not in Gath, weep not at all; at Beth-le-aphrah roll thyself in the dust.
Não o anuncieis em Gath, nem choreis muito: revolve-te no pó, na casa de Aphra.
11 Pass ye away, O inhabitant of Saphir, in nakedness and shame; the inhabitant of Zaanan is not come forth; the wailing of Beth-ezel shall take from you the standing-place thereof.
Passa, ó moradora de Saphir, com nudez vergonhosa: a moradora de Zaanan não sai para fora; o pranto de Beth-ezel receberá de vós a sua estância.
12 For the inhabitant of Maroth waiteth anxiously for good; because evil is come down from the LORD unto the gate of Jerusalem.
Porque a moradora de Maroth teve dor pelo bem; porque desceu do Senhor o mal até à porta de Jerusalém.
13 Bind the chariots to the swift steeds, O inhabitant of Lachish; she was the beginning of sin to the daughter of Zion; for the transgressions of Israel are found in thee.
Ata os animais ligeiros ao carro, ó moradora de Lachis (esta é o princípio do pecado para a filha de Sião), porque em ti se acharam as transgressões de Israel.
14 Therefore shalt thou give a parting gift to Moresheth-gath; the houses of Achzib shall be a deceitful thing unto the kings of Israel.
Por isso dá presentes a Moreshethgath: as casas de Achzib serão casas de mentira aos reis de Israel.
15 I will yet bring unto thee, O inhabitant of Mareshah, him that shall possess thee; the glory of Israel shall come even unto Adullam.
Ainda te trarei um herdeiro, ó moradora de Maresha: chegar-se-á até Adullam, para glória de Israel.
16 Make thee bald, and poll thee for the children of thy delight; enlarge thy baldness as the vulture; for they are gone into captivity from thee.
Faze-te calva, e tosquia-te, por causa dos filhos das tuas delícias: alarga a tua calva como a águia, porque te foram levados cativos.
