Leviticus 9
1 And it came to pass on the eighth day, that Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the elders of Israel;
Al llegar el día octavo, Moisés llamó a Aarón, a sus hijos y a los ancianos de Israel,
2 and he said unto Aaron: 'Take thee a bull-calf for a sin-offering, and a ram for a burnt-offering, without blemish, and offer them before the LORD.
y dijo a Aarón: Toma un becerro para el sacrificio por el pecado y un carnero sin defecto para el sacrificio quemado, y ofrécelos ante Yavé.
3 And unto the children of Israel thou shalt speak, saying: Take ye a he-goat for a sin-offering; and a calf and a lamb, both of the first year, without blemish, for a burnt-offering;
Y hablarás a los hijos de Israel: Tomen un macho cabrío para el sacrificio por el pecado, un becerro y un cordero añal sin defecto para el sacrificio quemado,
4 and an ox and a ram for peace-offerings, to sacrifice before the LORD; and a meal-offering mingled with oil; for to-day the LORD appeareth unto you.'
un becerro y un carnero los cuales degollarán ante Yavé como sacrificio de paz y también una ofrenda vegetal amasada con aceite. Porque hoy Yavé les aparecerá.
5 And they brought that which Moses commanded before the tent of meeting; and all the congregation drew near and stood before the LORD.
Llevaron lo que Moisés ordenó al frente del Tabernáculo de Reunión. Toda la congregación se acercó y permaneció en pie ante la Presencia de Yavé.
6 And Moses said: 'This is the thing which the LORD commanded that ye should do; that the glory of the LORD may appear unto you.'
Y Moisés dijo: Esto es lo que Yavé ordenó hacer para que la gloria de Yavé se les aparezca.
7 And Moses said unto Aaron: 'Draw near unto the altar, and offer thy sin-offering, and thy burnt-offering, and make atonement for thyself, and for the people; and present the offering of the people, and make atonement for them; as the LORD commanded.'
Luego Moisés dijo a Aarón: Acércate al altar y prepara tu sacrificio por el pecado y tu holocausto. Ofrece sacrificio que apacigua por ti y por el pueblo. Presenta también el sacrificio del pueblo y ofrece sacrificio que apacigua por él, como Yavé ordenó.
8 So Aaron drew near unto the altar, and slew the calf of the sin-offering, which was for himself.
Entonces Aarón se acercó al altar y degolló el becerro del sacrificio que apacigua por el pecado de él.
9 And the sons of Aaron presented the blood unto him; and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar, and poured out the blood at the base of the altar.
Los hijos de Aarón le llevaron la sangre. Luego mojó su dedo en la sangre, tocó los cuernos del altar y derramó el resto de la sangre al pie del altar.
10 But the fat, and the kidneys, and the lobe of the liver of the sin-offering, he made smoke upon the altar; as the LORD commanded Moses.
Después ordenó quemar la grasa, los riñones y la grasa del hígado del sacrificio por el pecado sobre el altar, como Yavé ordenó a Moisés,
11 And the flesh and the skin were burnt with fire without the camp.
pero la carne y la piel los quemó al fuego fuera del campamento.
12 And he slew the burnt-offering; and Aaron's sons delivered unto him the blood, and he dashed it against the altar round about.
Luego degolló el holocausto, y los hijos de Aarón le llevaron la sangre, la cual roció sobre el altar, por todos los lados.
13 And they delivered the burnt-offering unto him, piece by piece, and the head; and he made them smoke upon the altar.
Después le llevaron el holocausto, trozo por trozo con la cabeza, y mandó quemarlos sobre el altar.
14 And he washed the inwards and the legs, and made them smoke upon the burnt-offering on the altar.
Lavó también los órganos internos y las patas, y ordenó quemarlos sobre el altar.
15 And the people's offering was presented; and he took the goat of the sin-offering which was for the people, and slew it, and offered it for sin, as the first.
También ofreció el sacrificio del pueblo, tomó el macho cabrío del sacrificio que purifica por el pecado del pueblo, lo degolló y lo ofreció por el pecado como el primero.
16 And the burnt-offering was presented; and he offered it according to the ordinance.
Después ofreció el holocausto e hizo según la ordenanza.
17 And the meal-offering was presented; and he filled his hand therefrom, and made it smoke upon the altar, besides the burnt-offering of the morning.
Presentó también la ofrenda vegetal. Tomó un puñado y lo quemó sobre el altar, además del holocausto de la mañana.
18 He slew also the ox and the ram, the sacrifice of peace-offerings, which was for the people; and Aaron's sons delivered unto him the blood, and he dashed it against the altar round about,
También degolló el becerro y el carnero como sacrificio de paz por el pueblo. Los hijos de Aarón le presentaron la sangre, y él la roció sobre el altar por todos los lados.
19 and the fat of the ox, and of the ram, the fat tail, and that which covereth the inwards, and the kidneys, and the lobe of the liver.
Las grasas del becerro y del carnero: la cola gorda, la grasa que cubre las vísceras y los riñones, y la grasa del hígado,
20 And they put the fat upon the breasts, and he made the fat smoke upon the altar.
las pusieron con las grasas de los pechos, y quemaron las grasas sobre el altar.
21 And the breasts and the right thigh Aaron waved for a wave-offering before the LORD; as Moses commanded.
Pero Aarón ofreció el pecho y el muslo derecho como ofrenda mecida ante la Presencia de Yavé, como Moisés ordenó.
22 And Aaron lifted up his hands toward the people, and blessed them; and he came down from offering the sin-offering, and the burnt-offering, and the peace-offerings.
Luego Aarón alzó sus manos hacia el pueblo y lo bendijo. Después de hacer el sacrificio que apacigua, el holocausto y el sacrificio de paz, descendió.
23 And Moses and Aaron went into the tent of meeting, and came out, and blessed the people; and the glory of the LORD appeared unto all the people.
Moisés entró con Aarón en el Tabernáculo de Reunión. Cuando salieron y bendijeron al pueblo, la gloria de Yavé apareció ante todo el pueblo.
24 And there came forth fire from before the LORD, and consumed upon the altar the burnt-offering and the fat; and when all the people saw it, they shouted, and fell on their faces.
Entonces de la Presencia de Yavé salió fuego, y consumió el holocausto y la grasa que estaba sobre el altar. Al ver esto, todo el pueblo gritó de gozo y se postraron sobre sus rostros.
