Leviticus 18
1 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying:
Y habló Jehová a Moisés, diciendo:
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them: I am the LORD your God.
Habla a los hijos de Israel, y díles: Yo soy Jehová vuestro Dios:
3 After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do; and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do; neither shall ye walk in their statutes.
No haréis como hacen en la tierra de Egipto, en la cual morasteis: ni haréis como hacen en la tierra de Canaán, en la cual yo os meto: ni andaréis en sus estatutos.
4 Mine ordinances shall ye do, and My statutes shall ye keep, to walk therein: I am the LORD your God.
Mis derechos haréis, y mis estatutos guardaréis andando en ellos: yo soy Jehová vuestro Dios.
5 Ye shall therefore keep My statutes, and Mine ordinances, which if a man do, he shall live by them: I am the LORD.
Por tanto mis estatutos y mis derechos guardaréis, los cuales haciendo el hombre, vivirá en ellos: Yo Jehová.
6 None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness. I am the LORD.
Ningún varón se allegue a ninguna cercana de su carne, para descubrir las vergüenzas: yo Jehová.
7 The nakedness of thy father, and the nakedness of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover: she is thy mother; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
Las vergüenzas de tu padre, o las vergüenzas de tu madre no descubrirás: tu madre es; no descubrirás sus vergüenzas.
8 The nakedness of thy father's wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy father's nakedness.
Las vergüenzas de la mujer de tu padre no descubrirás; las vergüenzas de tu padre son.
9 The nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or the daughter of thy mother, whether born at home, or born abroad, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover.
Las vergüenzas de tu hermana, hija de tu padre, o hija de tu madre, nacida en casa, o nacida fuera, no descubrirás sus vergüenzas.
10 The nakedness of thy son's daughter, or of thy daughter's daughter, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover; for theirs is thine own nakedness.
Las vergüenzas de la hija de tu hijo, o de la hija de tu hija, no descubrirás sus vergüenzas, porque tus vergüenzas son.
11 The nakedness of thy father's wife's daughter, begotten of thy father, she is thy sister, thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
Las vergüenzas de la hija de la mujer de tu padre, engendrada de tu padre, tu hermana es, no descubrirás sus vergüenzas.
12 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father's sister: she is thy father's near kinswoman.
Las vergüenzas de la hermana de tu padre no descubrirás: parienta de tu padre es.
13 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother's sister; for she is thy mother's near kinswoman.
Las vergüenzas de la hermana de tu madre no descubrirás, porque parienta de tu madre es.
14 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy fathers brother, thou shalt not approach to his wife: she is thine aunt.
Las vergüenzas del hermano de tu padre no descubrirás, no llegarás a su mujer: mujer del hermano de tu padre es.
15 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy daughter-in-law: she is thy son' wife; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.
Las vergüenzas de tu nuera no descubrirás: mujer es de tu hijo, no descubrirás sus vergüenzas.
16 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy brother's wife: it is thy brother's nakedness.
Las vergüenzas de la mujer de tu hermano no descubrirás: vergüenzas son de tu hermano.
17 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter; thou shalt not take her son's daughter, or her daughter's daughter, to uncover her nakedness: they are near kinswomen; it is lewdness.
Las vergüenzas de la mujer y de su hija no descubrirás: no tomarás la hija de su hijo, ni la hija de su hija para descubrir sus vergüenzas: parientas son, maldad es.
18 And thou shalt not take a woman to her sister, to be a rival to her, to uncover her nakedness, beside the other in her lifetime.
Ítem, mujer con su hermana por concubina no tomarás para descubrir sus vergüenzas delante de ella en su vida.
19 And thou shalt not approach unto a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is impure by her uncleanness.
Ítem, a la mujer en el apartamiento de su inmundicia, no llegarás para descubrir sus vergüenzas.
20 And thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbour's wife, to defile thyself with her.
Ítem, a la mujer de tu prójimo no darás tu acostamiento en simiente, contaminándote en ella.
21 And thou shalt not give any of thy seed to set them apart to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD.
Ítem, no des de tu simiente para hacer pasar a Moloc: ni contamines el nombre de tu Dios. Yo Jehová.
22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind; it is abomination.
Ítem, con macho no te echarás como con mujer: abominación es.
23 And thou shalt not lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith; neither shall any woman stand before a beast, to lie down thereto; it is perversion.
Ítem, con ningún animal tendrás ayuntamiento ensuciándote con él: ni mujer se pondrá delante de animal para ayuntarse con él: mezcla es.
24 Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things; for in all these the nations are defiled, which I cast out from before you.
En ninguna de estas cosas os ensuciaréis: porque en todas estas cosas se han ensuciado las gentes, que yo echo de delante de vosotros.
25 And the land was defiled, therefore I did visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land vomited out her inhabitants.
Y la tierra fue contaminada, y yo visité su maldad sobre ella; y la tierra vomitó a sus moradores.
26 Ye therefore shall keep My statutes and Mine ordinances, and shall not do any of these abominations; neither the home-born, nor the stranger that sojourneth among you —
Guardád pues vosotros mis estatutos, y mis derechos, y no hagáis ninguna de todas estas abominaciones, el natural ni el extranjero, que peregrina entre vosotros.
27 for all these abominations have the men of the land done, that were before you, and the land is defiled —
Porque todas estas abominaciones hicieron los hombres de la tierra, que fueron antes de vosotros, y la tierra fue contaminada.
28 that the land vomit not you out also, when ye defile it, as it vomited out the nation that was before you.
Y la tierra no os vomitará, por haberla contaminado, como vomitó a la gente, que fue antes de vosotros.
29 For whosoever shall do any of these abominations, even the souls that do them shall be cut off from among their people.
Porque cualquiera que hiciere alguna de todas estas abominaciones, las personas que tal hicieren, serán cortadas de entre su pueblo.
30 Therefore shall ye keep My charge, that ye do not any of these abominable customs, which were done before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I am the LORD your God.
Guardád pues mi observancia no haciendo algo de las leyes de las abominaciones, que fueron hechas antes de vosotros, y no os ensuciéis en ellas: Yo Jehová, vuestro Dios.
