Judges 10
1 And after Abimelech there arose to save Israel Tola the son of Puah, the son of Dodo, a man of Issachar; and he dwelt in Shamir in the hill-country of Ephraim.
| و بعد از ابیملک تولع بن فواه بن دودا، مردی از سبط یساکار، برخاست تااسرائیل را رهایی دهد، و او در شامیر در کوهستان افرایم ساکن بود. | ۱ |
2 And he judged Israel twenty and three years, and died, and was buried in Shamir.
| و او بر اسرائیل بیست و سه سال داوری نمود، پس وفات یافته، در شامیر مدفون شد. | ۲ |
3 And after him arose Jair, the Gileadite; and he judged Israel twenty and two years.
| و بعد از او یائیر جلعادی برخاسته، براسرائیل بیست و دو سال داوری نمود. | ۳ |
4 And he had thirty sons that rode on thirty ass colts, and they had thirty cities, which are called Havvoth-jair unto this day, which are in the land of Gilead.
| و او راسی پسر بود که بر سی کره الاغ سوار می‌شدند، وایشان را سی شهر بود که تا امروز به حووت یائیرنامیده است، و در زمین جلعاد می‌باشد. | ۴ |
5 And Jair died, and was buried in Kamon.
| و یائیروفات یافته، در قامون دفن شد. | ۵ |
6 And the children of Israel again did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, and served the Baalim, and the Ashtaroth, and the gods of Aram, and the gods of Zidon, and the gods of Moab, and the gods of the children of Ammon, and the gods of the Philistines; and they forsook the LORD, and served Him not.
| و بنی‌اسرائیل باز در نظر خداوند شرارت ورزیده، بعلیم و عشتاروت و خدایان ارام وخدایان صیدون و خدایان موآب و خدایان بنی عمون و خدایان فلسطینیان را عبادت نمودند، و یهوه را ترک کرده، او را عبادت نکردند. | ۶ |
7 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel, and He gave them over into the hand of the Philistines, and into the hand of the children of Ammon.
| وغضب خداوند بر اسرائیل افروخته شده، ایشان را به‌دست فلسطینیان و به‌دست بنی عمون فروخت. | ۷ |
8 And they oppressed and crushed the children of Israel that year; eighteen years oppressed they all the children of Israel that were beyond the Jordan in the land of the Amorites, which is in Gilead.
| و ایشان در آن سال بر بنی‌اسرائیل ستم و ظلم نمودند، و بر جمیع بنی‌اسرائیل که به آن طرف اردن در زمین اموریان که در جلعادباشد، بودند، هجده سال ظلم کردند. | ۸ |
9 And the children of Ammon passed over the Jordan to fight also against Judah, and against Benjamin, and against the house of Ephraim, so that Israel was sore distressed.
| وبنی عمون از اردن عبور کردند، تا با یهودا و بنیامین و خاندان افرایم نیز جنگ کنند، و اسرائیل درنهایت تنگی بودند. | ۹ |
10 And the children of Israel cried unto the LORD, saying: 'We have sinned against Thee, in that we have forsaken our God, and have served the Baalim.'
| و بنی‌اسرائیل نزد خداوند فریاد برآورده، گفتند: «به تو گناه کرده‌ایم، چونکه خدای خود راتر ک کرده، بعلیم را عبادت نمودیم.» | ۱۰ |
11 And the LORD said unto the children of Israel: 'Did not I save you from the Egyptians, and from the Amorites, from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines?
| خداوندبه بنی‌اسرائیل گفت: «آیا شما را از مصریان واموریان و بنی عمون و فلسطینیان رهایی ندادم؟ | ۱۱ |
12 The Zidonians also, and the Amalekites, and the Maonites, did oppress you; and ye cried unto Me, and I saved you out of their hand.
| و چون صیدونیان و عمالیقیان و معونیان برشما ظلم کردند، نزد من فریاد برآورید و شما را از دست ایشان رهایی دادم. | ۱۲ |
13 Yet ye have forsaken Me, and served other gods; wherefore I will save you no more.
| لیکن شما مرا ترک کرده، خدایان غیر را عبادت نمودید، پس دیگرشما را رهایی نخواهم داد. | ۱۳ |
14 Go and cry unto the gods which ye have chosen; let them save you in the time of your distress.'
| بروید و نزدخدایانی که اختیار کرده‌اید، فریاد برآورید، وآنها شما را در وقت تنگی شما رهایی دهند.» | ۱۴ |
15 And the children of Israel said unto the LORD: 'We have sinned; do Thou unto us whatsoever seemeth good unto Thee; only deliver us, we pray Thee, this day.'
| بنی‌اسرائیل به خداوند گفتند: «گناه کرده‌ایم، پس برحسب آنچه درنظر تو پسند آید به ما عمل نما، فقط امروز ما را رهایی ده.» | ۱۵ |
16 And they put away the strange gods from among them, and served the LORD; and His soul was grieved for the misery of Israel.
| پس ایشان خدایان غیر را از میان خود دور کرده، یهوه راعبادت نمودند، و دل او به‌سبب تنگی اسرائیل محزون شد. | ۱۶ |
17 Then the children of Ammon were gathered together, and encamped in Gilead. And the children of Israel assembled themselves together, and encamped in Mizpah.
| پس بنی عمون جمع شده، در جلعاد اردوزدند، و بنی‌اسرائیل جمع شده، در مصفه اردوزدند. | ۱۷ |
18 And the people, the princes of Gilead, said one to another: 'What man is he that will begin to fight against the children of Ammon? he shall be head over all the inhabitants of Gilead.'
| و قوم یعنی سروران جلعاد به یکدیگرگفتند: «کیست آن که جنگ را با بنی عمون شروع کند؟ پس وی سردار جمیع ساکنان جلعادخواهد بود.» | ۱۸ |
