Job 39
1 Knowest thou the time when the wild goats of the rock bring forth? Or canst thou mark when the hinds do calve?

2 Canst thou number the months that they fulfil? Or knowest thou the time when they bring forth?
Waweza kuhesabu miezi ya kuchukua mimba? Je unaujua muda ambao huzaa watoto wao?
3 They bow themselves, they bring forth their young, they cast out their fruit.
Wanainama chini na kuzaa watoto wao, na kisha maumivu yao ya uzazi yanaishi.
4 Their young ones wax strong, they grow up in the open field; they go forth, and return not again.
Watoto wao huwa na nguvu na kukua katika uwanda wa wazi; hutoka nje na hawarudi tena.
5 Who hath sent out the wild ass free? Or who hath loosed the bands of the wild ass?
Ni nani huwaacha punda mwitu waende huru? Je nani amevilegeza vifungo vya punda wepesi,
6 Whose house I have made the wilderness, and the salt land his dwelling-place.
ni nyumba ya nani nimeifanya katika Araba, au nyumba yake katika nchi ya chumvi?
7 He scorneth the tumult of the city, neither heareth he the shoutings of the driver.
Hucheka kwa dharau katika kelele katika mji; hasikilizi kelele za mwongozaji.
8 The range of the mountains is his pasture, and he searcheth after every green thing.
Hutembeatembea juu ya milima kama malisho yake; huko hutafuta kila mmea ulio wa kijani kwa ajili ya kula.
9 Will the wild-ox be willing to serve thee? Or will he abide by thy crib?
Je nyati atakuwa na furaha kukutumikia? Je atakubali kukaa katika zizi lako?
10 Canst thou bind the wild-ox with his band in the furrow? Or will he harrow the valleys after thee?
Waweza kumwongoza nyati kulima mtaro kwa kamba? Je atachimba bonde kwa ajili yako?
11 Wilt thou trust him, because his strength is great? Or wilt thou leave thy labour to him?
Je waweza kumtumaini kwasababu ya nguvu zake nyingi? Je waweza kumwachia kazi yako ili aifanye?
12 Wilt thou rely on him, that he will bring home thy seed, and gather the corn of thy threshing-floor?
Je waweza kumtegemea akuletee nyumbani nafaka, au kukusanya nafaka katika uwanda wako wa kupuria?
13 The wing of the ostrich beateth joyously; but are her pinions and feathers the kindly stork's?
Mabawa ya mbuni hupunga kwa majivuno, bali je mabawa na manyoya yana upendo?
14 For she leaveth her eggs on the earth, and warmeth them in dust,
Kwa maana huuacha mayai yake katika nchi, na huyaacha yapate joto katika mavumbi;
15 And forgetteth that the foot may crush them, or that the wild beast may trample them.
husahau kuwa mguu waweza kuyaharibu au kwamba mnyama mwitu aweza kuyakanyaga.
16 She is hardened against her young ones, as if they were not hers; though her labour be in vain, she is without fear;
Huyatendea vibaya makinda yake kana kwamba si yake; haogopi kwamba kazi yake yaweza kupotea bure,
17 Because God hath deprived her of wisdom, neither hath He imparted to her understanding.
kwasababu Mungu amemnyima hekima na hajampa ufahamu wowote.
18 When the time cometh, she raiseth her wings on high, and scorneth the horse and his rider.
Na wakati anapokimbia kwa haraka, huwacheka kwa dharau farasi na mpanda farasi wake.
19 Hast thou given the horse his strength? Hast thou clothed his neck with fierceness?
Je umempa farasi nguvu zake? Je umeivika shingo yake kwa manyoya?
20 Hast thou made him to leap as a locust? The glory of his snorting is terrible.

21 He paweth in the valley, and rejoiceth in his strength; he goeth out to meet the clash of arms.
Hurarua kwa nguvu na kufurahia katika nguvu zake; hukimbia upesi kukutana na silaha.
22 He mocketh at fear, and is not affrighted; neither turneth he back from the sword.
Huidharau hofu na hashangazwi; huwa harudi nyuma kutoka katika upanga.
23 The quiver rattleth upon him, the glittering spear and the javelin.
Podo hugongagonga ubavuni mwake, pamoja na mkuki unaong'aa na fumo.
24 He swalloweth the ground with storm and rage; neither believeth he that it is the voice of the horn.
Huimeza nchi kwa hasira na ghadhabu; katika sauti ya tarumbeta, hawezi kusimama sehemu moja.
25 As oft as he heareth the horn he saith: 'Ha, ha!' and he smelleth the battle afar off, the thunder of the captains, and the shouting.
Wakati wowote tarumbeta inapolia, husema, 'Ooh! Huisikia harufu ya vita kutoka mbali - vishindo vya radi za makamanda na makelele.
26 Doth the hawk soar by thy wisdom, and stretch her wings toward the south?
Je ni kwa hekima yako kwamba mwewe hupaa juu, na ya kuwa huyanyosha mabawa yake kwa upande wa kusini?
27 Doth the vulture mount up at thy command, and make her nest on high?
Je ni kwa agizo lako kwamba tai huruka juu na kufanya kiota chake katika sehemu za juu?
28 She dwelleth and abideth on the rock, upon the crag of the rock, and the stronghold.
Huishi katika majabali na hufanya makao yake katika vilele vya majabali, na ngomeni.
29 From thence she spieth out the prey; her eyes behold it afar off.
Kutoka huko hutafuta mawindo; macho yake huyaona mawindo kutoka mbali.
30 Her young ones also suck up blood; and where the slain are, there is she.
Makinda yake hunywa damu pia; na pale walipo watu wafu, ndipo na yeye alipo.
