Job 37
1 At this also my heart trembleth, and is moved out of its place.
“அந்த முழக்கத்தினால் என் இருதயம் நடுங்கி, அதின் இடத்தைவிட்டுத் துடிக்கிறது.
2 Hear attentively the noise of His voice, and the sound that goeth out of His mouth.
இறைவனுடைய குரலின் கர்ஜனையையும், அவர் வாயிலிருந்து வரும் முழக்கத்தையும் கேளுங்கள்.
3 He sendeth it forth under the whole heaven, and His lightning unto the ends of the earth.
வானத்தின் கீழெங்கும் தமது மின்னலைக் கட்டவிழ்த்து, அதைப் பூமியின் கடைமுனைகளுக்கும் அனுப்புகிறார்.
4 After it a voice roareth; He thundereth with the voice of His majesty; and He stayeth them not when His voice is heard.
பின்பு அவருடைய கர்ஜனையின் சத்தம் வருகிறது, அவர் தனது கெம்பீரமான குரலினால் முழங்குகிறார்; அவருடைய சத்தம் தொனிக்கும்போது அவர் ஒன்றையும் அடக்குவதில்லை.
5 God thundereth marvellously with His voice; great things doeth He, which we cannot comprehend.
இறைவனது குரல் ஆச்சரியமான விதங்களில் முழங்குகிறது; அவர் நம்மால் விளங்கிக்கொள்ள முடியாத அளவு பெரிய காரியங்களைச் செய்கிறார்.
6 For He saith to the snow: 'Fall thou on the earth'; likewise to the shower of rain, and to the showers of His mighty rain.
அத்துடன் அவர் பனியைப் பார்த்து, ‘பூமியின்மேல் விழு’ என்றும், மழையைப் பார்த்து, ‘கடுமையாய்ப் பெய்’ என்றும் கூறுகிறார்.
7 He sealeth up the hand of every man, that all men whom He hath made may know it.
அவ்வேளைகளில் அவர் தாம் படைத்த எல்லா மனிதர்களும் தமது செயலை அறியும்படி, ஒவ்வொரு மனிதனையும் அவனுடைய வேலையிலிருந்து நிறுத்துகிறார்.
8 Then the beasts go into coverts, and remain in their dens.
காட்டு மிருகங்கள் குகைகளுக்குள் சென்று, தங்கள் கெபிகளில் தங்குகின்றன.
9 Out of the Chamber cometh the storm; and cold out of the north.
தெற்கிலிருந்து சூறாவளியும், வடதிசை காற்றினால் குளிரும் வருகிறது.
10 By the breath of God ice is given, and the breadth of the waters is straitened.
இறைவனின் சுவாசத்தால் பனிக்கட்டி உருவாகிறது; அப்பொழுது பரந்த நீர்ப்பரப்புகளும் உறைந்துபோகின்றன.
11 Yea, He ladeth the thick cloud with moister, He spreadeth abroad the cloud of His lightning;
அவர் மேகங்களை ஈரத்தினால் பாரமாக்கி, தமது மின்னலை அவற்றினுள் சிதறப்பண்ணுகிறார்.
12 And they are turned round about by His guidance, that they may do whatsoever He commandeth them upon the face of the habitable world:
அவரின் திசையில் மேகங்கள் சுழல்கின்றன; அவை பூமியின் மேற்பரப்பெங்கும் அவர் கட்டளையிடுவதைச் செய்கின்றன.
13 Whether it be for correction, or for His earth, or for mercy, that He cause it to come.
மனிதரைத் தண்டிப்பதற்கோ, அல்லது தனது பூமியை வளமுள்ளதாக்கி தமது அன்பைக் காட்டுவதற்கோ அவர் மேகங்களைக் கொண்டுவருகிறார்.
14 Hearken unto this, O Job; stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.
“யோபுவே, இதைக் கேளும்; சற்று நின்று இறைவனின் அதிசயங்களைக் கவனித்துப் பாரும்.
15 Dost thou know how God enjoineth them, and causeth the lightning of His cloud to shine?
இறைவன் மேகங்களை எவ்வாறு கட்டுப்படுத்தி தமது மின்னலை மின்னப் பண்ணுகிறார் என்று உமக்குத் தெரியுமா?
16 Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of Him who is perfect in knowledge?
அவர் மேகங்களை எப்படி ஆகாயத்தில் தொங்கவிட்டிருக்கிறார் என்பதையும், பூரண அறிவுள்ளவரின் அதிசயங்களையும் நீர் அறிவீரோ?
17 Thou whose garments are warm, when the earth is still by reason of the south wind;
தென்றலினால் பூமி அடங்கிக் கிடக்கும்போது, உமது ஆடைகள் வெப்பமாயிருக்கும் முறையை அறிவீரோ?
18 Canst thou with Him spread out the sky, which is strong as a molten mirror?
வார்க்கப்பட்ட வெண்கல கண்ணாடியைப் போன்ற, கடினமான ஆகாயத்தை அவருடன் சேர்ந்து உம்மால் விரிக்க முடியுமோ?
19 Teach us what we shall say unto Him; for we cannot order our speech by reason of darkness.
“அவருக்குச் சொல்லவேண்டியதை நீர் எங்களுக்குச் சொல்லும்; இருளின் காரணமாக எங்களால் வழக்காட முடியாதிருக்கிறது.
20 Shall it be told Him that I would speak? Or should a man wish that he were swallowed up?
‘நான் பேச விரும்புகிறேன்’ என்று அவருக்குச் சொல்லலாகுமோ? தான் விழுங்கப்படுவதை எவனும் விரும்பிக் கேட்பானோ?
21 And now men see not the light which is bright in the skies; but the wind passeth, and cleanseth them.
காற்று ஆகாயத்தைச் சுத்தப்படுத்திய பின், சூரியனை எந்த மனிதனாலும் பார்க்க முடியாதே! ஏனெனில் அதின் ஒளி பிரகாசமாயிருக்கும்.
22 Out of the north cometh golden splendour, about God is terrible majesty.
வடக்கிலிருந்து தங்கமயமான மகிமையிலே அவர் வருகிறார்; திகைப்பூட்டும் மாட்சிமையுடன் இறைவன் வருகிறார்.
23 The Almighty, whom we cannot find out, is excellent in power, yet to judgment and plenteous justice He doeth no violence.
எல்லாம் வல்லவர் நமக்கு எட்டாத தூரத்திலே அவர் வல்லமையில் உயர்ந்திருக்கிறார்; அவர் நீதியும் நியாயமும் நிறைந்தவர்; அவர் ஒடுக்குகிறதில்லை.
24 Men do therefore fear Him; He regardeth not any that are wise of heart.
ஆகையால், மனிதர்கள் அவரிடம் பயபக்தியாயிருக்கிறார்கள்; ஏனெனில், இருதயத்தில் ஞானமுள்ள ஒருவரையும் அவர் மதிப்பதில்லை.”
