< Job 37 >
1 At this also my heart trembleth, and is moved out of its place.
Hae hmuen pongah ka palungthin tasoeh moe, a ohhaih ahmuen hoiah angthuih ving.
2 Hear attentively the noise of His voice, and the sound that goeth out of His mouth.
A thuih ih lok, anih ih pakha thung hoiah tacawt lok to kahoih ah tahngai ah.
3 He sendeth it forth under the whole heaven, and His lightning unto the ends of the earth.
A thuih ih lok loe van tlim ah kaom ahmuen boih ah phak moe, tangphrapuekhaih doeh long boenghaih ahmuen khoek to phak.
4 After it a voice roareth; He thundereth with the voice of His majesty; and He stayeth them not when His voice is heard.
Tangphrapuek pacoengah lok to angzoh; a lensawkhaih lok hoiah kho to pazisak; lok tacawt pacoengah loe, takhi sae songhaih diisak let mak ai boeh.
5 God thundereth marvellously with His voice; great things doeth He, which we cannot comprehend.
Dawnrai koi kaom ah Sithaw mah khopazih lok to tacawtsak; aicae mah panoek thai ai ih kalen parai hmuennawk to anih mah sak.
6 For He saith to the snow: 'Fall thou on the earth'; likewise to the shower of rain, and to the showers of His mighty rain.
Dantui khaeah, Long ah krah ah, tiah a naa. Khotui khaeah, Kalen parai kho angzoh hanah lok a paek.
7 He sealeth up the hand of every man, that all men whom He hath made may know it.
Kami boih mah a sak ih hmuen panoek thai hanah, kami boih mah sak ih tok to anghaksak.
8 Then the beasts go into coverts, and remain in their dens.
Taw ih moinawk loe akhaw thungah caeh o moe, athung ah abuep o.
9 Out of the Chamber cometh the storm; and cold out of the north.
Aloih bang hoiah takhi kamhae to angzoh moe, aluek bang hoiah kangqai to angzoh.
10 By the breath of God ice is given, and the breadth of the waters is straitened.
Sithaw ih takhi mah hmuh pongah, tui to amkhawk, kawk parai tuinawk loe amkhawk o.
11 Yea, He ladeth the thick cloud with moister, He spreadeth abroad the cloud of His lightning;
Tamai to tui hoiah koisak moe, ni aengh mah tamai to angkhoengsak phaeng.
12 And they are turned round about by His guidance, that they may do whatsoever He commandeth them upon the face of the habitable world:
Long ah kaom hmuennawk boih loe, a thuih ih lok baktih toengah, sak o hanah a thuih ih lok hoiah ni amhae o.
13 Whether it be for correction, or for His earth, or for mercy, that He cause it to come.
Kaminawk thuitaek han ih, to tih ai boeh loe angmah ih long to khetzawn han ih, to tih ai boeh loe palungnathaih amtuengsak han ih, to tiah ohsak.
14 Hearken unto this, O Job; stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.
Aw Job hae lok hae tahngai ah; dawnrai koi kaom Sithaw ih hmuennawk hae, anghngaih duem ah loe, poek ah.
15 Dost thou know how God enjoineth them, and causeth the lightning of His cloud to shine?
Sithaw mah kawbangmaw tamainawk to amzamsak moe, aanghaih to ohsak, tiah na panoek maw?
16 Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of Him who is perfect in knowledge?
Palunghahaih hoi kakoep, dawnrai koi kaom, Sithaw mah sak ih hmuen ah kaom, tamainawk to kawbangmaw amzamsak, tito na panoek vai maw?
17 Thou whose garments are warm, when the earth is still by reason of the south wind;
Aloih bang ih takhi mah long to betsak naah, na khukbuen to kawbangmaw bet, tiah na panoek vai maw?
18 Canst thou with Him spread out the sky, which is strong as a molten mirror?
Sithaw mah kabae amdingsak hanah tamai to taboksak, nang loe to tiah na sak thai maw?
19 Teach us what we shall say unto Him; for we cannot order our speech by reason of darkness.
Anih khaeah timaw ka thuih o han, tito na patuk ah; khoving pongah tidoeh ka sah o thai ai boeh.
20 Shall it be told Him that I would speak? Or should a man wish that he were swallowed up?
Lokthuih ka koeh, tiah Anih khaeah ka thuih han maw? Kami mah to tiah thui nahaeloe, to kami to anih mah amrosak tangtang tih.
21 And now men see not the light which is bright in the skies; but the wind passeth, and cleanseth them.
Takhi song moe, tamai to hmuh phaeng naah, mi mah doeh ni aengh to khen thai ai.
22 Out of the north cometh golden splendour, about God is terrible majesty.
Anih loe kampha sui baktiah aluek bang hoiah angzoh; Sithaw loe zitthok Lensawkhaih hoiah akoep.
23 The Almighty, whom we cannot find out, is excellent in power, yet to judgment and plenteous justice He doeth no violence.
Thacak Sithaw loe aicae mah hnu thai ai; anih loe thacakhaih, lokcaekhaih hoi toenghaih hoiah akoep; anih loe mi kawbaktih doeh pacaekthlaek ai.
24 Men do therefore fear Him; He regardeth not any that are wise of heart.
To pongah kaminawk mah anih to zit o; anih loe palungha kami ni, tiah poek ih kaminawk khingyahaih to tawn ai, tiah a naa.
