Job 35

1 Moreover Elihu answered and said:

၁တဖန်ဧလိဟုဆက်၍ မြွက်ဆိုသည်ကား၊ ငါသည်ဘုရားသခင်ထက်သာ၍ ဖြောင့်မတ်၏ဟု သင်ပြောသောစကားမှန်သည် ထင်သလော။

2 Thinkest thou this to be thy right, or sayest thou: 'I am righteousness before God',

3 That thou inquirest: 'What advantage will it be unto Thee?' And: 'What profit shall I have, more than if I had sinned?'

၃သင်က၊ ငါသည်အဘယ်အကျိုးကိုရသနည်း။ ဒုစရိုက်ကို မပြုဘဲနေလျှင် အဘယ်ကျေးဇူးရှိသနည်းဟု ဆိုလို၏။

4 I will give thee answer, and thy companions with thee.

၄သင်နှင့်သင်၏အပေါင်းအဘော်တို့စကားကို ငါချေပါမည်။

5 Look unto the heavens, and see; and behold the skies, which are higher than thou.

၅မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင်ကိုမျှော်၍၊ သင့်ထက်မြင့်သော မိုဃ်းတိမ်တို့ကို ကြည့်ရှုလော့။

6 If thou hast sinned, what doest thou against Him? And if thy transgressions be multiplied, what doest thou unto Him?

၆သင်သည် ဒုစရိုက်ကိုပြုသော်လည်း၊ ဘုရား သခင်ကို အဘယ်သို့ ထိခိုက်နိုင်သနည်း။ ပြစ်မှားသော အပြစ်များသော်လည်း၊ အကျိုးတော်ကို အဘယ်သို့ ဖျက်နိုင်သနည်း။

7 If thou be righteous, what givest thou Him? Or what receiveth He of thy hand?

၇သင်သည် ဖြောင့်မတ်သော်လည်း၊ ဘုရားသခင်၏ အကျိုးတော်ကို အဘယ်သို့ပြုစုနိုင်သနည်း။ သင့်လက် မှ အဘယ်ကျေးဇူးကို ခံတော်မူမည်နည်း။

8 Thy wickedness concerneth a man as thou art; and thy righteousness a son of man.

၈သင်ပြုသော ဒုစရိုက်သည် သင်နှင့်တူသော လူသတ္တဝါကိုသာ ထိခိုက်နိုင်၏။ သင်ပြုသော သုစရိုက် သည်လည်း လူသားတို့၌သာ ကျေးဇူးပြုနိုင်၏။

9 By reason of the multitude of oppressions they cry out; they cry for help by reason of the arm of the mighty.

၉များပြားသော ညှဉ်းဆဲခြင်းကို ခံရသောသူတို့သည် အော်ဟစ်တတ်ကြ၏။ အားကြီးသောသူ နှိပ်စက် သောကြောင့်၊ ပြင်းစွာ အော်ဟစ်တတ်ကြ၏။

10 But none saith: 'Where is God my Maker, who giveth songs in the night;

၁၀သို့သော်လည်းငါ့ကို ဖန်ဆင်းတော်မူထသော၊ ညဉ့်အချိန်၌ သီချင်းဆိုရသောအခွင့်ကို ပေးတော်မူထ သော၊

11 Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth, and maketh us wiser than the fowls of heaven?'

၁၁မြေတိရစ္ဆာန်နားလည်သည်ထက်သာ၍ နားလည်သောဥာဏ်နှင့်၎င်း၊ မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင် ငှက်မရ၊ ထူးဆန်းသောပညာနှင့်၎င်း၊ ငါတို့ကို ပြည့်စုံ စေတော်မူသော ဘုရားသခင်သည် အဘယ်မှာရှိတော် မူသနည်းဟု အဘယ်သူမျှမမေးမြန်းတတ်။

12 There they cry, but none giveth answer, because of the pride of evil men.

၁၂ထိုကြောင့်အဓမ္မလူ၊ ထောင်လွှားစော်ကားခြင်းကိုခံရ၍ အော်ဟစ်သော်လည်း၊ ဘုရားသခင်သည် ထူးတော်မမူ။

13 Surely God will not hear vanity, neither will the Almighty regard it.

၁၃အကယ်စင်စစ်ဘုရားသခင်သည် အချည်းနှီး သောစကားကို နားထောင်တော်မမူ။ အနန္တတန်ခိုးရှင် သည် ထိုသို့သောစကားကို မမှတ်ဘဲ နေတော်မူ၏။

14 Yea, when thou sayest thou canst not see Him — the cause is before Him; therefore wait thou for Him.

၁၄ဘုရားသခင်ကို မတွေ့မမြင်ရဟု သင်ဆိုသော်လည်း၊ တရားသဖြင့် စီရင်တော်မူသောကြောင့် မြော်လင့် လျက်နေလော့။

15 And now, is it for nought that He punished in His anger? And hath He not full knowledge of arrogance?

၁၅ယခုမူကား၊ အမျက်ထွက်၍ ဆုံးမတော်မမူ။ ပြစ်မှားသောအပြစ်ကို ကျပ်တည်းစွာ မှတ်တော်မမူ သောကြောင့်၊

16 But Job doth open his mouth in vanity; he multiplieth words without knowledge.

၁၆ယောဘသည်အချည်းနှီးသော စကားကို မြွက်ဆိုတတ်၏။ ပညာမရှိဘဲ များစွာပြောတတ်သည်ဟု မြွက်ဆို၏။
