< Job 33 >

1 Howbeit, Job, I pray thee, hear my speech, and hearken to all my words.
“Inge, Job, lohng akwoya Ma nukewa nga ac fahk nu sum uh.
2 Behold now, I have opened my mouth, my tongue hath spoken in my mouth.
Nga akola in fahk ma oan in nunak luk uh.
3 My words shall utter the uprightness of my heart; and that which my lips know they shall speak sincerely.
Kas luk inge nukewa ma ke nunak na pwaye luk, Ac nga ac kaskas na pwaye nu sum.
4 The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty given me life.
Ngun lun God pa oreyula, ac ase nu sik moul.
5 If thou canst, answer thou me, set thy words in order before me, stand forth.
“Topukyu kom fin ku. Akoela kas in alein lom an.
6 Behold, I am toward God even as thou art; I also am formed out of the clay.
Nga kom oana sie ye mutun God, Kut kewa orekla ke fohk kle.
7 Behold, my terror shall not make thee afraid, neither shall my pressure be heavy upon thee.
Ke ma inge wangin sripa kom in sangeng sik; Nga ac tia funmweti kom.
8 Surely thou hast spoken in my hearing, and I have heard the voice of thy words;
“Pa inge ma nga lohng kom fahk ah:
9 'I am clean, without transgression, I am innocent, neither is there iniquity in me;
Kom fahk mu, ‘Wangin ma koluk luk; wangin ma sufal nga orala. Nga nasnas ac wangin mwetik.
10 Behold, He findeth occasions against me, He counteth me for His enemy;
A God El sifacna sokak sripa lal in akkeokyeyu, Ac oreyu oana sie mwet lokoalok lal.
11 He putteth my feet in the stocks, He marketh all my paths.'
El kapriya niuk ke mwe kapir, Ac tawi mukuikui nukewa luk.’
12 Behold, I answer thee: In this thou art not right, that God is too great for man;
“Tuh nga fahk nu sum Job, kom tafongla. God El fulat liki kutena mwet.
13 Why hast thou striven against Him? seeing that He will not answer any of his words.
Efu ku kom akkolukye God Ac fahk mu El tiana topuk tukak lun mwet uh?
14 For God speaketh in one way, yea in two, though man perceiveth it not.
God El ne kaskas na kaskas, A wanginna mwet lohang nu ke ma El fahk uh.
15 In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed;
Ke mwet uh ac motul ke fong uh, God El ac sramsram nu selos ke mweme ac oayapa ke aruruma.
16 Then He openeth the ears of men, and by their chastisement sealeth the decree,
El oru elos in lohng ma El fahk, Ac elos sangeng ke kas in sensenkakin lal nu selos uh.
17 That men may put away their purpose, and that He may hide pride from man;
God El kaskas in tuh kutongya orekma koluk lalos Ac in molelosla elos in tia inse fulat.
18 That He may keep back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.
El ac fah tia lela in kunausyukla elos; El molelos liki misa.
19 He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, and all his bones grow stiff;
God El aksuwosye sie mwet ke El sang mas nu sel Ac nwakla manol ke waiok.
20 So that his life maketh him to abhor bread, and his soul dainty food.
Sie mwet mas ac srungala mongo, Finne mongo ma arulana yu, a ac akkolukye ikwal.
21 His flesh is consumed away, that it cannot be seen; and his bones corrode to unsightliness.
Manol ac srila nwe Kom ac ku in liye sri nukewa kacl uh;
22 Yea, his soul draweth near unto the pit, and his life to the destroyers.
Ac tia paht el ac som nu in facl sin mwet misa.
23 If there be for him an angel, an intercessor, one among a thousand, to vouch for a man's uprightness;
“Sahp ac oasr lipufan tuku kasrel — Sie sin lipufan tausin lun God, Su akesmakinye mwet uh ke ma kunalos.
24 Then He is gracious unto him, and saith: 'Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom.'
Ke sripen pakomuta lal, lipufan sac ac fahk, ‘Fuhlella, El ac tia som nu in facl sin mwet misa. Pa inge molin aksukosokyal uh.’
25 His flesh is tenderer than a child's; he returneth to the days of his youth;
Manol ac fah sifil fusri, ac kui;
26 He prayeth unto God, and He is favourable unto him; so that he seeth His face with joy; and He restoreth unto man his righteousness.
Ke el pre, God El ac fah topkol; El ac fah alu nu sin God ke engan; God El ac fah oru tuh ma nukewa in sifil wola nu sel.
27 He cometh before men, and saith: 'I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not.'
El ac fahk ye mutun mwet uh, ‘Nga orekma koluk. Nga tia oru ma wo, tusruktu God El sruokyuwi na ac tia sisyula.
28 So He redeemeth his soul from going into the pit, and his life beholdeth the light.
El sruokyuwi tuh nga in tia som nu in facl sin mwet misa, Ac inge nga srakna moul.’
29 Lo, all these things doth God work, twice, yea thrice, with a man,
“God El nuna oru na ouinge pacl nukewa;
30 To bring back his soul from the pit, that he may be enlightened with the light of the living.
El ac molela moul lun sie mwet Ac sang nu sel tuh elan arulana engan lah el moul.
31 Mark well, O Job, hearken unto me; hold thy peace, and I will speak.
“Inge, Job, porongo ma nga fahk uh; Misla ac lela ngan kaskas.
32 If thou hast any thing to say, answer me; speak, for I desire to justify thee.
Tuh fin oasr ma kom lungse fahk, kom fahk nga in lohng; Fin tuh pwaye ma kom fahk an, nga fah insewowo in fahk mu pwaye sum.
33 If not, hearken thou unto me; hold thy peace, and I will teach thee wisdom.
A fin wangin ma kom ac fahk, kom misla ac porongeyu, Ac nga ac fah luti nu sum in lalmwetmet.”
